…………………… great place
Good service
Would rather die than go to this “hospital”.
So kind, courteous, & efficient.
Very helpful. Team was quick and resolved my problem quickly. Thanks.
It’s hateful the staff is getting fateful and they don’t care
Had to wait 3 hours for 3 stitches
If I could give no stars I would
Have been here since 3:30 this afternoon. It now 10:15. Still waiting 🤬🤬🤬🤬 …
My wife had a very pain “kidney stone” – they really took care about it …
It’s a hospital, you either need them or you don’t.
Set in here over 2 hours saying nothing is wrong and not even look at it yea if I could it be negative 10
Slow
go anywhere else. they will ignore you and literally scream in your face.
Quick and the staff was sweet.i did not feel like I was being a pain . Thank you Ashe county hospital.
Slow, slow, slow service every time we go. Even after the remodel. Always seem understaffed and the ladies at the front desk are usually rude.
waited 8 hours in the ER
Overall kind, timely and great communication. Loved all the staff! Dr Hill was fantastic!
You can’t ever get anyone to answer the phone. I can’t get anyone to call me back. The one time I was able to get ahold of them they said they would call me back and they never did. I was disappointed from previous visits but it seems like everyday it gets worse there.
Whoever answers the phone in imaging is extremely rude! If you can’t be friendly find another job! Instead of helping me she had a major attitude. I’ll find somewhere else to have my procedure done.
We at Ashe Memorial Hospital offer therapy for muscle pain, back pain, joint pain, hand pain, knee pain, dizziness, balance, falls… from pediatric to geriatric ages. We offer return to sport, aquatic pool therapy, functional therapy, and …
I was seen very quickly. The medical staff were very gentle and professional. I was well taken care of.
See review on Facebook. Their profile page on fb says they are 4 stars comprised of 16 reviews. I wish I’d looked on Google to begin with bc the reviews on here are more accurate!
I’ve came here many times and it has took them hours just to tell me if I have strep, or if I just have a cold. They are not a good hospital at all. Would rather go an extra hour to Boone hospital and get seen immediately.
Hi this is Crystal actually and I took my daughter to er the dr name is Welch we are still here but the problem is when the dr came in and I was trying to explain to him what was going on with my daughter about where she had hurt her hand …
I would not take a dog to this hospital they are rude they treated me and my son bad I try to get them to send him to another hospital the ambulance would not take him I was afraid to drive him I was afraid something would happen to him …
Going on 4 hours……. my 10 year old has literally have been stuck in this small room without anyone seeing us for 4 HOURS ! Yea I understand that it is busy and there is people in front of me but 4 hours is a LONG TIME for a child not to be seen. Should make the extra 30 minute drive to Boone or Wilkes. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!
Gave a 5 star when mom broke her hip but she hurt her back and had to be taken to the ER. She has been in severe pain. The Dr. on call didn’t xray. Told her to go home and take a tylenol. She went to a caropractor and he done what he could. …
I arrived at the ER at 4:30pm sunday the 4th. I waited to be seen for what it seems to be the flu. I was told the same as everyone else that it would be 2 to 3 hours before i would be seen. I watched the waiting room fill up twice and empty …
This doctor is a joke. My family and I moved to this area from Charlotte and needed to establish ortho care here. Went to this office regarding my knee only to be told there was nothing they could really do, I asked about them refilling my …
I feel as if I have been robbed without a gun. I was admitted into the ER with back pain.  I was advised of the necessity of a successive battery of tests to rule out a heart attack, which I thought highly unlikely never having any history …
My father was transported here in a ambulance with chest pain and stomach pain. He’s a type 2 diabetic, note they didn’t seem to care or really acknowledge it. I immediately requested he be transferred to Winston Salem because we have had …
I was at the ER yesterday and i want say what a wonderful job they all did to spite the fact I was somewhat of a difficult patient they really helped me yesterday I don’t remember the nurses name that helped me but the Dr was DR Hillard …
I have never experienced such poor care mostly due to being understaffed. Took my daughter’s friend who crashed a 4 wheeler and ran over her own ankle. Waited 5 hrs for them to give her something for pain even after they knew it was broken …
My grandmother was seen last week and was told there was no one available to read her radiological tests until three days later. Really? In this day and age of EHR?? I find that hard to believe and is absolutely ludicrous. …
The outpatient/imaging registration receptionist was so rude and unprofessional I left without being seen. When I approached her to register she said “can’t you see there are others ahead of you”. So I waited while she read the …
I cant even put into words the lack of care at this hospital. I refuse to go unless its an emergency. 20 min doctor visits to tell you that they cannot do anything for you except prescribe medicine you cant take. The last 2 visits were …
First visit I filed a formal complaint which was addressed and handled to my satisfaction. Second visit a year later, won’t ever be coming back to this place. It’s ashame because the need for a local hospital is great, but I’ll drive the …
It was on a Sunday that my elderly mother broke her hip and was transported to the ER. The staff were friendly and the doctor was to. They got on her case and after quick xrays and diagnosis she was in an ambulance and on her way to Boone …
I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect and lack of care. I’m a terminally ill patient and was basically refused care that would have stopped my pain and nausea. I will never seek treatment from this hospital. It saddens me to think I can’t use my local hospital for care.
The nursing staff is great but very long wait. They are clearly under staffed. Probably more of a managerial/budget issue rather than ER staff “not caring” or being incompetent as other reviews would have you believe. …
This hospital is the worst hospital on earth me and my boyfriend have been here for chest pain and we’ve been here for several hours🙄 …
My husband thought he may have broken a rib. We called to see where we should go to massage sure we didn’t take up any time that was not needed on the doctor’s end. We were sent to the clinic below. She never even looked at us. Just said …
I recently received Physical Therapy at Ashe Memorial Rehabilitation Services by Dr. Dustin Absher for a total knee replacement. I received total patient care. Dr. Absher was extremely knowledgeable and caring. My progress has been …
Unfortunately my experience was very similar to the other reviews. Like many I debated going to Boone to be seen but was worried about driving that far in my condition. IF YOU ARE DEBATING THIS GO TO BOONE!!!! I came in pregnant thinking …
These guys are great, especially Dr. Welch the ER doctor. What a great bed side manner. I want him to go into private practice so he can become my regular Doc.
If you need this hospital be very cautious. The Emergency room doctors lack of care put my dads death in motion.
Left for 2 hours be fore they looked for a cut artery after an accident. Zero pain control. An unattended staff. It sucks to watch your blood pour out of you for over an hour before you get any kind of help. That’s exactly what happened. Nevermind the pain.
Two weeks ago I visited the ER at this hospital. I was the victim of a serious dog attack and unfortunately sustained significant injuries. On arrival I was greeted courteously, promptly taken back, and almost immediately attended. Dr. …
My husband was brought in to ER on Memorial Day with shoulder/chest pain and shortness of breath. The staff in ER was very busy as it was an extra stressful day to say the least. …
The doctors and staff are always kind to me and my family when we do come there. They’re usually good with my children if I have a sick child. However, I am highly disappointed that the Ashe ER is basically a place for people to be …
It’s our first time at Ashe Memorial and it will certainly be our last time! My wife and I rushed out son here to get an x-ray on his thumb to make sure it wasn’t broken…Long story short, it took almost 4 hours for him to be seen by a …
I would not advise people with serious issues coming to this hospital,as they are unprepared to deal with serious problems. The staff here does everything halfway. You push the nurse call button in your room and they answer What do you want …
To say my care at Ashe Memorial Rehabilitation has been enriching is an understatement. Judy Saas, my physical therapist, is an amazing professional. Her approach to my care has been thoughtful, organized and creative. Her efforts have …
Staff was incredibly rude. This one RN didn’t even get the blood pressure monitor on right and then proceeded to jerk the pulse reader off my finger. Not to mention her tone of voice was snooty. If I can get her name I will gladly update …
Took a friend to the out patient cancer unit for the last three days. It has been a trying experience. The staff is exceptional.
Took my wife to ER she was in terrible pain with nausea & vomiting. Told Dr. Richard Hillard that her pain was on her left side, he ordered Cat scan and ultrasound along with blood work and urine panel which I assumed was normal. 6hrs later …
If you have been here you know what the problems are. The doctors don’t listen at all and talk over the patients. The nurses and staff are nice but can’t do too much with the doctors. If you have any health issues in Ashe I would suggest trying to go to Boone if you can make it.
They always go above and beyond to give you the best care possible, and they do it because they care . It’s more than treating the health issues , they’re treating the person! Much love to the staff, doctors and nurses and the specialist associated with the hospital. THANK YOU FOR SHOWING HEART! BRAVE HEARTS !
Took my boyfriend to the er because his arm was swelled double size. The nurses were great. It took forever for CT scan. The Dr said from the start he needed iv antibiotics but all he got was fluids. I got asked to leave the room because I …
Our family has had excellent care in not only the ER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS as well as inpatient!! …
Tonight, while on vacation, we had to take our 2 year old to the ED due to sudden onset of illness. Our nurse, Deva, was absolutely wonderful with our daughter. I’ve been a nurse 15 years and was so happy with the care she provided our daughter. David that checked us in was also very helpful.
