Asheville Pulmonary & Critical Care Associates Reviews ( 35 )

  1. When I had my appointment they did not make sure my insurance would cover the testing. When speaking with the doctor about possible inhalers and telling him that a certain one didn’t really work, so my pcp started me on a different one, and …

  2. Speaking for my mom Judy chrisawnStaff was helpful never had to wait long to see my Dr Who has taken time to listenand have been treated with respect and kindness

  3. Most unethical and scam -centered practice I have ever come across. Hope their malpractice insurance is high! They need it. Read all the complaints at NC Medical Board and all over the internet. Thankful AVL still has ETHICAL and HONEST medical practices, who prescribed the much needed OXYGEN! GO ELSEWHERE!

  4. Old tech with regards to x-ray and breathing machines, non-responsive staff when calling in with time-sensitive issues, staff is full of apologies and never any solutions. Save yourself trouble and look elsewhere for pulmonary care.

  5. I met with Dr. Habegger on Sept. 8th. He was on time and one of the most
caring Dr.s I have met. He had completely reviewed my medical history
and spent much time with me. I also saw a breathing specialist who was
very competent. The whole staff I saw were kind and caring.

  6. Recently took my dad to see Dr. James Davidson for consult. Dr. Davidson was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a way so my dad could understand it. When we left Dr. Davidson’s office, all of our questions were answered and a …

  7. Apparently this practice doesn’t believe in the Hippocratic Oath, only sees patients with conditions that will generate hefty bills, or their staff is incompetent. Their scheduler lied about not receiving my referral and failed to return my …

  8. Dr Graham was very proactive when I came to Mission Memorial. I can’t thank him enough. He saved my life.
COVID-19 is an evil disease. Thank God for Dr Graham and the staff at Mission Memorial for being on the cutting edge of treatment, and helping lead the charge.
    Life is good.

  9. My mother has been a patient at Asheville Pulmonary for over 20 years. I always thought it odd that a lung doctor would have 5 steps into the building with no ramp and to get to the elevator you go through a musty basement. Many of their …

  10. I love this pulmonary group. From the girls at the front desk to the girls at check out. They’re friendly and very thorough. This is the best run medical practice in WNC. Dr. Campbell couldn’t possibly be any more concerned about my …

  11. I have been followed off and on for 9 years by this group for a (hopefully continuing) benign condition. I was sorry to hear that Dr. Pritchard had recently retired. I needed an appointment to discuss my latest scan results and no longer …

  12. I have had numerous times where I’ve called and put on hold indefinitely. When I finally do get to leave a message , the message either isn’t given to the person or they don’t think I deserve a call back. I shouldn’t have to keep calling to …

  13. If you call to talk to a doctor’s nurse, forget it. They NEVER return your call. You may have to call the office manager to get noticed.
I think my doctor is fantastic, but some of his staff are not doing thier job …

  14. I really like Dr. Stenshenko and other clinicians. However, the scheduler is slack! Everytime I call them to schedule, reschedule or cancel an appointment for what ever reason she never answers the phone so it goes to voicemail. You never …

  15. I love my doctor but the staffing in the front and administration when calling with issues , questions or return calls lack greatly with timing and response and courtesy. If you ask for higher authority for help you soon realize that the attitude and helpfulnesses is definitely not a top priority of the office member.

  16. There is someone there not doing their job they act like they don’t care about your health an never return an /or answer phone half the time an I been in need of a new prescription for my machines to get a new oxygen machine an a bipap an …

  18. I’ve been extremely pleased with the services provided to me by Asheville Pulmonary. They have been so helpful to me in my fight with lung cancer and have given me the time, care and advise that has been so beneficial to me. Dr Brown, …

  19. Must be office policy to always leave voice mail instead of speaking directly to patients. I am still waiting for records to be sent to my GP aftet multiple requests over 2 yrs. After the first visit in 2019 there does not seem to be any real interest in treatment or even testing again to see if the treatment I’m on is working.

  20. I had a good experience at this clinic. I know they are understaffed, as is everyone these days, but I was treated courteously and seen promptly. The technician was friendly and efficient during testing, and the pulmonologist answered all my questions thoroughly. The scheduling assistants were friendly and helpful.

  21. I’ve been trying to get information since September in regards to get an appointment to discuss when I can get my new C-pap machine. I have already had 2 sleep studies done in 2022. The last time I spoke with a human being in December i …
