Atlanta Gastroenterology Specialists Reviews ( 34 )

  1. Never go here!!! Worst ever. Read more reviews on other review sites. Touches people unprofessionally, is mean, prideful, crass, lascivious. hurried, pushy, doesn’t explain possible outcomes, doesn’t give updates on work he’s already done, …

  2. Worst Dr. visit my wife ever experienced. Not only did Dr. Salzberg use racial slurs and degrade my wife, but for some unknown reason felt it was necessary to touch my wife’s breast as he was walking out of the exam room. Gastroenterology???? She left in tears!

  3. They love to charge you hundreds of dollars but hate spending time with you when you are in pain. Shame. Going to him was a complete waste of time and money. I would highly recommend going to younger doctors who are better informed with latest studies. Please do your research before choosing this office.

  4. I can deal with a little rudeness but he far surpassed just a little grumpy. Also I felt he was unnessarily handsy as someone I’d the other women suggested, I find it strange he doesn’t have a nurse who comes in to observe his evaluations- instead it’s only the patient and the doctor and he made me feel uncomfortable

  5. This doctor is top notch! Not only is he extremely smart in his profession, but he has a fantastic bedside manner. In my opinion, that combination is extremely hard to find these days! His staff was very friendly as well!

  6. I was referred to Dr. Salzberg at a low point in my life when other doctors just couldn’t figure what was going on. I honestly believe he saved my life. He knows what he is talking about and I trust him more than any of my other doctors. He looks out for his patients and helps them anyway he can. That’s my experience and two cents.

  7. Existing patient. If I could give negative stars I would. Called with bad stomach pain on Monday. Did not receive call back. Called back on Wednesday morning and office apologized and said they would have him call back.. it is now …

  8. Re: Hi Uzair, I am sorry to hear that your visit was not ideal. As the number 1 researcher in the country in Gastroenterology I promise you we are absolutely updated on the latest studies and medicine. Dr. Salzberg is the top lecturer for …

  9. I have been seeing Dr Salzberg for several years. He is professional in every way, great bedside manner, friendly, compassionate and his staff is so helpful! I have referred him several times. Love him!

  10. I saw Dr Salzburg to assist with food which was getting lodged when I ate. I found him to me kind, respectful, courteous, knowledge, and concerned about getting things right the first time. I have recommended him to several friends and family members. He will definitely remain my doc for all gi needs!

  11. I would give this negative 0 stars if I could. His nurses are fantastic. Dr. Salzberg was friendly and I thought he was professional and I was in good hands. However his front office and billing department get NEGATIVE stars. ALL of …

  12. He was awful to work with. Didn’t seem to care for anyone but himself. Basically told me that there was nothing wrong with me and that my sickness was in my head. Was very passive aggressive with his responses when asked questions. Was …

  13. I have been seeing Dr Salzburg for over 15 years. My first encounter was just moving to Atlanta from Florida. I almost passed and needed a transfusion and medical attention. For the ones who thinks he’s rude. He may come across that way …

  14. I had decent experiences with the medical support staff, but the office was another story. I was told I would owe a certain amount after insurance. I spoke to them multiple times about how much that would be and got the same answer. I paid …

  15. I was scheduled to go for an endoscopy and the office and ce get couldn’t both get on the same page with what my out of pocket expense would be. I had met my max for the year but they insisted on wanting to collect 481.00 from me. Teresa at …

  16. I have been a patient of Dr Salzberg’s for 3 years and think he is a fantastic doctor. When I started seeing him I was desperately searching for a doctor that would listen to me and support my desire to not only get my Crohns under control …

  17. Dr. Salzberg is amazing. I have severe Crohns disease, and I have been through my share of GI doctors. The local doctors were no help to me, so I decided to try Dr. S on a good recommendation. I am so glad I did because now my Crohn’s is …

  18. I wish I could give Dr. Salzberg 0 stars. While I didn’t care for Dr. Salzberg’s personality or bedside manner at all, this isn’t the reason for my negative review. If a doctor can help me feel better, I am willing to put up with a lot. …

  19. I highly recommend Dr Salzberg. Just had a colonscopy done. Staff is outstanding. Wait time relatively short. Dr Salzburg has great bedside manners. I know I’m in great hands. I will be sure to recommend you.

  20. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had.
He is an awful doctor (if you can even call him doctor). He is very rude, inconsiderate, dissmisive, and arrogant. He is insensitive and has little interest in …

  21. Dr. Salzberg is pretty good, but I prefer my other GI doctor who seems more knowledgeable. When switching back to my other doctor, I called Atlanta Gastroenterology Specialist 3 times to have my records transferred. They never transferred them. I finally gave up.

  22. Dr. Bruce Salzburg was the third gastroenterologist that my husband went to for UC. He is the only one who has been able to treat my husband successfully and give him his quality of life back. Dr Salzburg is knowledge about IBD treatment …

  23. I read lots of comments about rude and condescending quite frankly I wouldn’t care if you were able to give me a level treatment it would make my life better. Instead he simply patted me on the back and said live with it

  24. Dr. Salzberg has been such a blessing to me! I’ve been experiencing issues that no other doctor was able to diagnose for over 1.5 years now. Christmas day 2021, I ended up going to the ER due to these issues and they referred me to Dr. …
