Good bank
Do whatever it takes to avoid this place. They are evil. You’ve been warned.
TERRIBLE customer service. Like to scam people into loans they know will cripple them financially.
Great customer service and they beat almost everyone else when it comes to interest rates on student loans. I have saved a lot of money by consolidating with their program.
A collection agency is easier to deal with than this bank. Put your money anywhere else. Including a matress in a burning building.
Only state to own its own bank same state thats politicians ban any kind of ethics commities that arent “reigned in” and allow the top politicians in this state to keep their foot on their throats for silence and uses said bank to finance all the states plans ridiculously corrupt and its why we are one of the dirtiest states
my online experience was terrible. cant even access my private loans for school and trying to pay them off is even more of a maze. Very disappointed.
0 stars. Stay away. Customer service is a joke and won’t help you if you ever need it. Better options out there don’t go with this bank.
Won’t support the gov forgiveness programs. Lost out on $10,000
This place is a predatory lender. They eagerly loan money to kids who wish to go to school. However, many of these kids do not understand what they are signing up for. In the end, these targeted youth would be forced to pay this corrupt …
Arrogant. Student loan interest rates are ridiculously fixed by the federal government. They are in North Dakota, where people are genuine and very polite. Yet I have always found them to be rude and arrogant. Maybe the invented banking. Take out your student loan anywhere else.
If there was an opportunity to rate this place ZERO stars, I would. If you need a student loan, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This “lender” is predatory, taking advantage of kids trying to go to school. They were the Recommended lender for WYOTECH …
Initially left a bad review due to a late payment issue. However, a customer agent reached out to me and we actually worked out a fix. Perfect example of excellent customer service.
I continuously have to go through re-setting my online banking credentials and they keep overhauling their systems so that there is no record of my account. Its a massive chore to do even basic things like retrieve annual tax documents from them.
STAY AWAY.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.
IF YOU EVER WANT TO MAKE A PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE IT WILL COST YOU $20. Even if your check “supposedly” got lost in the mail, and you’ve NEVER had a late …
Extremely passive aggressive business. Contributes to divisions within my family over my private student loans that I took out while j attended the Univrrsity of North Dakota when my financial aid ran out. Despite the fact its the middle of …
Jen was very helpful on the phone. She talked me through everything and made my situation of paying back my loans incredibly clear. She deserves 5 stars because she went above and beyond and walked me through the process step by step.
If you are considering dealing in student loans with this bank, please take all of this into consideration. …
I had foreign currency and for them to accept it I have to open a checking account with them and then I said I’d do that and the lady was still really rude about it and said they still wouldn’t accept until I had an account with them for ninety days
Never had a late payment until BND started payments on one of my loans 4 months early without telling me. I learned through EQUIFAX that I was 45 days overdue. What a scam. …
Today I called and spoke with Jen in the Student Loan Department – she was extremely helpful and provided me a number of options regarding consolidation. We talked about the benefits/cons of moving to another bank and discussed the …
This review concerns their DEAL student loans. Initially, everything was okay until one day it wasn’t. Unfortunately I had medical issues and couldn’t work. The payments were due. I had a physician complete two of three “forgiveness” forms. …
I recently got married and my wife and I merged accounts. So, I went into the BND online portal and switched the account to auto withdrawal from my new account. …
UPDATE: Joe, head of customer service at BND reached out to me and resolved as much of my issues as he could. I very much appreciated the gesture, but still hope they change how their website works to make it easier to use! …
Just want to say a big thank you to this bank for letting the Philanthropist & hacktivist @ROYALBLADEWORKS render help clearing my daughter’s medical loan debt which was at $114,899. This saved my family ! THANK YOU BOTH.
My son has his student loans through BND, and I’m his co-signer. We had no issues until they stopped sending quarterly statements without notice. I called customer service to ask if there was an account change that switched us to …
We secured a student loan for my daughter 4 years ago. They were awesome to deal with, and had the lowest fixed interest rate of all the avenues we researched. I see someone made a comment about them not supporting the federal student …
