Worse water service ever!!
&& there service charges are RIDICULOUS!!
Wished theres was another option!!
If I can give a zero star, I will give a zero. Terrible service, terrible website.
If could give 0 stars I would! Worst customer service ever.
Turned water off incorrectly, awful costumer service. Worst company In town
Very negative experience with customer service dealing with a billing issue. Have never been spoken to so rudely!
This organization is ran worse than the Trump administration. Steal money from hard working people.
Cut off our water twice, but we’re on auto pay..?? Frustrated to say the least.
I’m sure if you have them as your water department you know why I gave them one star.
So far not good on hold over 20 minutes.Have yet to speak to someone.
It fast in service just drive thru windows and paid your bill and be out
I have been a customer for over 15 years. Service has never been an issue, water has always been wet and plentiful as well.
I’ve always had very pleasant experiences w BJWSA. They have been courteous on the phone and efficient in the field.
I used to work for this utility, and lived in Beaufort SC. It’s a great place, I was very happy to be able to serve the community with great drinking water.
Called to schedule my service shut off on my closing date. Was only on hold about one minute. The service rep had me taken care of without any issues and I was off the phone in less than 10 minutes.
Brittany Greenwood very understanding and helpful. She basically resolved the issue. Her customer service skills excellent such a blessing to BJWS
Fees are ridiculous. Online account says one amount while customer service says another. No consistency between reps on bill amounts. I’ve been given three drastically different amounts from three different reps.
Received a bill from these guys without having ever lived in Beaufort nor having an account with them. When I asked why they were harassing me, Lisa from customer service felt there was no issue with getting a collection agency to come after me, regardless of not having an account with them. WATCH YOUR BACK WITH THESE PEOPLE!
I have always had a good experience with the staff at the water company. They have been pleasant and efficient with all of my needs. If people would approach a problem with the right attitude, they would be amazed at the service they would receive.
Stole $80 from me for Reconnecting fee when my water bill due was on $30…this is shameful
The customer service is terrible. Someone opened an account a few house down feom me in my name. I explained it was not me. They are still making me pay off that bill. …
The worst company to deal with especially with Payment and their automated service!!!! I don’t know how they’ve been in business so long next to Hargray!!! The worst
The worst company ever dealt with. Charged me a $150.00 processing fee for my card not going through because I changed my bank card. And now I’m responsible for that payment even though I asked for it to be waived. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Your water is yellow? Well it must be your issue not ours. Unbelievable. I spoke to the guys that are replacing the water pipes in the area, they said they would not drink the water, it has a layer of mud/sludge on the bottom of all the pipes. Why is a public utility arguing with their customers about water safety?
Everytime I’ve interacted with Customer Service, they’ve always been helpful and accommodating. I’m on the Commercial side so things can get pretty crazy at times but but Ms. Jackie and her girls always help us through it. The guys at the Treatment plant are top notch too.
Cut off water w NO warning in 100 degree weather!! Said they have no record of me paying bill but, i have it set up on text and hit hit “pay” NOT MY MISTAKE!! But to cut off a family of 7 over a $50 bill is UNBELIEVABLE. and to charge me an …
The new payment system is ridiculous, not that the old one was much better. It’s not user friendly and no matter how many times I “register” I’m still being asked for my account number to log in. Also, 10 days to deliver a payment!? I …
I spoke with Morgan and she was very rude. We were on the phone two minutes before 5, for some odd reason she said my phone started breaking up at 5. I was sitting in my office. I have great signal in my office. She hung up because she said …
Ridiculous fees for billing issues, smug inactive responses when asking for reduction. Explains away late fees by stating they tried to call when modern companies managing a lot of accounts use text. Ugly side of monolithic service providers.
It sure would have been nice to know the water company was coming to my office this morning to test and clear our fire hydrants. I have upset residents contacting the office about their vehicles being in the path of the water and possible …
I am totally exhasperated that they want me to change my password. I have tons of accounts and I never have to change my password…did I see on the screen that I had to change my password monthly? Surely no company would be so difficult …
Absolutely hate this company, their customer service is the most horrible I have ever seen. They are rude, not friendly not helpful and gosh forbid you speak with a supervisor they cut your water off on purpose and its Friday. If there was …
I do not see how BJ water & sewer can have the rating they have. We have had their service for 11+, years with no problems and have auto pay with no problems. When we needed to change our credit card because of number theft they handled it quickly and easily.
BJWSA shut-off my water w/o notice. Only 3 days prior a representative called to verify my address due to water bill being returned to BJWSA. No payment was requested nor mention of water shut-off. When I called a supervisor berated me. She …
Every time I have called the billing office I am on hold for at least 1/2 hour. Last week I was trying to cut off service at a house we sold. I could not get to someone to talk. They say to press * and someone will call back. All that does …
I have never had any problem with BJWSA until I received my September bill. No bill has ever been over $60 and I received a bill for $114!!! This company is stating we used a great amount of water on days we evacuated for Hurricane …
Absolutely one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. There is currently a water line broken in my front yard which is flooding my yard and house. I called for help and all I was told is I will be responsible for the bill and all …
My water was recently cut off and I contacted BJWSA. I was extremely upset thinking they inadvertently shut my water off. My water was turned back on but I decided to email them over the weekend. To my surprise I got a response within a …
I moved into a new home last month. I just received my first bill and there was a 100 charge for damages. I called in to see the reasoning behind this charge, and was told that this was for usage prior to me moving in. They told me to …
I just got off the phone with BJSWA and they were very helpful. They agree that you have to have a separate username and password for the Eye On Water program because it was set up by an outside vendor, but the person that helped me was …
Unnecessarily rude and short and lazy. Just bought my first home and with all the craziness and moving and working I forgot to switch the water into my name. Got home early (thankfully) on a Friday to find the water shut off for obvious …
Brown water. Was told to run my water for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the water is yellow. This is not the first time this has happened. I’m sure they are going to try and charge me for the water that’s been running too.
I have had this issue for the 3rd or 4th time in a period of 8 months. Every time I call I’m told lines are being flushed. If they are flushed with a frequency then why is it this brown still? How is this safe for anyone to drink, cook food, or bathe in?
