First off to everyone working in the field I appreciate you second this is pathetic haven’t had power since Tuesday night over 9 inches of snow that’s not a major snow storm it’s not a crippling storm this is pure ridiculous..if your having that much trouble then you need to be calling other counties for assistance common sense
Each time I call to set up service and select talk to member service representative, I hear them pick up and then they send me right back to the main automated menu. 8x now.
Even if you have been a member for a long time they still rip you off like if you go from regular billing to prepay it costs more for that service and they don’t care if you lost your job and Missouri passed the law that says they cannot shut your electric off from November to March and they don’t want to obey the law
VERY PRICEY electric! Their electric will put you in the poor house for sure. And they have NO cold weather rule like Ameren UE does, so when you get your 800.00 electric bill, you better be able to pay it or you WILL be turned off! I am SO glad I live in an area serviced by Ameren now!
Usually I really like BREC, Im on the prepay and it’s great, but if you have an outage good luck getting ahold of an actual person. The website says they’re manned 24/ but I cant get past the automated system. It has an option to talk to an …
They trimmed branches in January and we are about to May . 5 phone calls and Townsend came out still a mess . Never again. The electric service is great though.
I live on the Black River. Their system is reliable as can be possible for a rural Co-Op because they trim the tree’s back from the lines. When a storm comes through and lines are down they have enough people to restore power within the same day. Great company to work with.
You guys are horrible this has to be the worst electric company in the world and I lived in Florida I am going on 3 days without power púber a few feet of snow is ridiculous and uncalled for if we were able to switch electric companies I would I am considering moving just so I can have Ameren be my electric company
I didn’t realize that we are close to a third world country with our electric capabilities. I understand “Acts of God” ect… what I don’t understand is when you have lots of other months in the year to keep trees off or near power lines and …
Poor customer service. They turn off the phones so no one can call in and check on outage updates. Going on day three with no electric. Family has to move out of their home and seek shelter with family members. Used to be a good company …

Been pretty good. Responsive when they are needed. Rates are reasonable, and you can call and get a person to answer the phone when you need them.
