  1. Was good before, now they’re lazy as hell. It’s 4 PM and they still haven’t collected my trash, Not to mention they refuse to answer phone calls.

  4. This is the kind of service you just don’t see anymore. They are really efficient, reasonably priced, and friendly. If I forget to put the can out by the road, they actually come up the driveway and get it! I’m really happy I chose them for our refuse service.

  8. I’ve used Blackowiak for years and it’s always great (consistent, cheerful, accommodating). I left for a while & went to waste management but they increased my rate by >20% each year for 3 years so I went back to Blackowiak – thankfully back to always consistent and a good price.

  10. “0” Starts They missed pick-up SEVERAL times. I’d call, sometimes they’d come pick it up. I finally was fed up, called to cancel, and they hung up on me. Called back, and I was hung up on repeatedly. Horrible service, horrible company. DO NOT USE THEM.

Finally talked to an older woman who refused to apologize and offered a discount but I told her I had already switched providers. She said they don’t offer refunds and hung up on me.

  15. This family run business has been picking up our garbage for about 4 years. All the while providing great service at competitive pricing. They come up our long driveway and if we forgot to set the can out, the driver will get it from next to the garage. No way do you get that kind of service from the big national companies.

The rest of my block uses Randy’s and now I know why. Randy’s is significantly cheaper as well. I do not recommend Blakowiak at all.

  26. Fantastic provider, no scams and no issues. A small company that truly appreciates the business. Delightful drivers— if you forget to put the can out, they have more then once come in and grabbed it. Pleasant surprise compared to the “big guys.” No contract!!!!
