My son spent 5 days here, he is 14. After reading the reviews I was very worried but we had a great experience. Good communication, my son said all the staff were friendly. They listened to all my concerns and they were addressed. There was only 1 issues but it was addressed directly.

Has some good staff members, but the patients that are there for self harm need to be away from patients there for behavior issues so everyone gets the help they need.
They come out worse than when they went in half of the time. Disgusting. They don’t listen to you, and don’t seem to care about how bad your situation is, or what you know works for you. This place needs shut down honestly.

I’ve been to 6 different hospitals multiple times for self harm, suicide attemps, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and auditory hallucinations and this one helped me the most the staff were really nice and helpful and actually seemed to care.

This place only made things worse for my sister. Treatment plans were almost nonexistent. When the doctor finally told my sister she could go home that night he left without signing her out so she had to stay another night. Overall unprofessional and unhelpful.
This place really was a great help to me, I had some real issues with substance abuse that co occured with severe depression and anxiety. They helped me detox then helped me arrange for some longer term treatment. 8.5 months clean and sober.
If I could give this experience a zero I would. This place was filthy, I was lied to multiple times by staff misinformed and mistreated. This place was not a place of healing but a prison.

There is no reason to stabilize a person in crisis without adequate aftercare. The staff is not interested in what happens after release. Consequently, the crisis returns and the person has to go back inpatient. Indiana is 44th in providing good mental health treatment for a reason.
