Great place, they are the BEST!!! Any time I have a question they are so quick to answer the question, or forward me to who can. And the new hours work so conveniently for those who work until 5pm.
A clown operation. Water is off frequently. Today, four hours so far.
Months have gone by and there is no effort to repair, after pipe installation,
the street entry to Hwy 128. Ineffective secretary merely refers you to leave a voicemail for the supposed head guy.
I had to deal with the dept, while things were not fully resolved at this time the supervisor I dealt with was upfront, honest, firm, but fair. I appreciate the job he has to do and the difficulties he encounters. Thankyou for being an honest person to deal with.
I’ve never had an issue here. Always in and out or only on the phone for a minute or two. Never had anyone rude to me there either. I think people will always find something to complain about. I have never had a problem with Blountville Utilities.
Woman over the phone is very rude and after speaking to the manager I feel like he was just making excuses for her being rude by saying “Well we do have a lot of calls coming in right now so these ladies are frustrated” well, I’m sorry …
These people on here are crazy. Ive lived several places in TN and this is the cheapest water utility company ive ever had. Service is great too! If you dont pay your bill on time, dont complain. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. And …
Lived in Blountville my whole life. I have always used this utility company, not that there is another choice, but I have never had any complaints. Water seems to be good quality. Staff is mostly friendly. I wish they had envelopes. Thanks for the good work guys, keep it up!
I read some of these other review and I am shock with how they blame this Utility for their own action. I came to this site to praise not just how they treated my situation with care. Thank you Blountville Utility for what you. Do
Very poorly run company with horrible customer service. Started service with them several months ago and noticed exceptionally high water bills. When I called to question them about a possible leak on their end of the system they said it …
$50 fee is added at 5:30pm on the day that the bill is due. Didn’t make it there before 5:30pm because I work 8-5 monday thru friday in Johnson city. My water was cut off the next morning before they even opened for business. Never been late on a payment before. Things just happen when you work 40+ hours a week… ridiculous.
Horrible people! Will turn your water off before the bill is even a week late then charge you 50 dollars to turn it back on. They know you have no choice but to pay it. Wish there was another company I would definitely switch. Makes me not want to live in Blountville anymore no wonder people say the place sucks.
The most unethical company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They have made changes to there billing process I’m sure every customer is aware of it is obviously targeting low-income or fixed income individuals and charge a 50 …
Paid my bill on the 20th through my bank online. I came home on the 26th and found my water was off. Called them but was after hours and got the ‘on-call’ guy who could only tell me that I did not pay my bill. I called in the morning and …
Oh the joy it is to deal with this water company!! NOT!!!! HORRIBLE PEOPLE, HORRIBLE GUIDELINES! They seriously have no care about all those who are struggling, we had the money to pay our bill just no way to get there cause our car broke …
I have never ever ever seen or heard of worst customer service EVER. YOU ARE RUDE, non-caring, and brash. Each of the office employees should drop to their knees and think the good Lord you or your service isn’t based on your customer …
Awesome and friendly staff
Cheapest water I have ever had.
Prompt service . . . frozen water line.
Worst water company ever!!! Very rude.
The lady that answers the phone is always the rudest! Like I’ve been the biggest inconvenience to her to call and pay my bill.
The support to the local fire department is outstanding. Phenomenal people. They go above and beyond to help the community.
Okay company, I wish they were more understanding in these trying pandemic times but overall decent company and service.

Went from being due every 2 months to due every month. they got a alot of people for the $50 reconnection fee. it was really sneaky and dirty.

Would give zero stars if that were an option. Horrible.
