  1. Blue Cross could careless about your health. My cardiologist recommended tests earlier this year, I am 64 years old with heart blockages that aren’t operable. My cardiologist has know for several years, but now at 64 years old, with much …

  2. Website doesn’t work for looking up coverage, then get a letter about more hoops to jump through for coverage and more stuff not covered. What’s the point then? Will be dropping asap!

  3. Blue cross and blue shield of Nebraska , is the worst insurance nationwide, you’re an insult to the American business . You should be ashamed of yourself .

  4. Very helpfully. Trying to guit smoking. Could not manage on my phone. Rep. Came down helped me finger it out, signed me up. Now on the way to being smoke free.😄😄😄😄😄 …

  5. When money becomes priority number one to a company, customer service comes last. What to expect from BCBS is the highest expenses for the least coverage.

  6. I came in for an appointment and the security officers here kept questioning me and wanting to take down my information for, I don’t know what reason. I’ll have to find a new health insurance company, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!

  7. Idiotic customer service. You can ask fifteen people whether something’s covered or not and if so, how to get it to be covered (forms? automatic with provider? discount? reimbursement?) and get fifteen different answers, none of which are binding on the company or provider.

  8. What is the point of having healthcare insurance, if they do not cover anything. What a joke . Blue cross blue shield of Nebraska is corporate greed at its finest. . Don’t waste your money.

  9. I am currently trying to get my back fixed I have no disc between to vertibrae I have one leg amputated below knee and the other I’ve just had surgery on to fix a torn patella tendon for the third time in less than a year I have rhuematoid …

  10. The customer service here is TOP NOTCH!! Robin was so helpful and amazing!! I really felt that she cared and when she followed up with me…(had my doubts) I felt satisfied…even though it was bad news…

  11. Shame on BCBS for pushing CHI out of network. Omaha consistently tops lists of best places to live specifically for things like access to great healthcare and cost of living. My company and I now not only pay costly insurance premiums but …

  12. I had insurance through my ex husbands insurance while we were together and all bills were payed for and then almost a year of divorcing him i found out today that now of the bills were payed and i have to.pay them unless i want my credit score to go bad. So what do i do since i cant change the fact that happened.

  13. From someone who works in a providers office, their customer service is terrible. The only way to contact them is through email and they say that they don’t get your emails and/or don’t respond. I have been working on getting a claim paid for over 90 days and still haven’t gotten a payment or a resolution.

  14. If your an employee be careful even if your not doing anything and other people are causing a hostile environment they will fire YOU the person that is not making the place hostile. They say they want caring customer service employees thats …

  15. It was nice to talk with the lady’s that helped me,,, but. It still makes no since if I use less medicine for a longer time that I have to pay more money for the same amount that I use more of for a lesser amount of time .. yep. I use …

  16. Sure, the phone menu can be very annoying and tedious, but that is unfortunately a standard at any company call center. Every time I’ve called them, they’ve been super polite and helpful. Please try to be nice to the representatives. They …

  17. We were solicited to have some free well being preventative healthcare services done by our employer and BCBS, colonoscopy for my wife and annual physical for me. Then 1-2 months later we get a bill in the mail for almost $3000! Nice! …

  18. I work in the insurance industry, alongside a team that has done so for 100 years collectively. My colleagues and I are in the top 5 of our entire national company. We have 30,40, and 50 year committed customers. As you might imagine, one …

  19. Don’t believe their hype on their individual healthcare policies. They give you an attractive teaser quote on the phone and then quadruple the premium on the final quote. …

  20. I think Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a joke my baby is 3 months old and I can’t even work because of a herniated disc for the second time in my life, I was denied approval for my surgery after we met our deductible. They claim that if I …

  21. They used to be good, then they had their corporate rearangement. Now they are all about making money. They cancelled my individual plan in order to “simplify” their offerings. My coworker’s plans, through Blue Cross Blue Shield, are worse than the ACA plans. Do not give them your money.

  22. My wife has this insurance through her employer and this is a do not recommend having them. We have nothing but problems and have to fight to get them to cover especially for dental coverage. And what is D9222 on a claim either way they are apparently certified doctors and know better. DO NOT USE THEM GO ELSEWHERE

  23. 1 star is too good for their Healthy Blue Nebraska Medicaid. Customer service is non existent. Employeee asked me for my call back # but when we were “disconnnected” (hung up on) she never bothered to call back. I strongly suggest using UHC …

  24. Currently have this insurance through my employer. The rep and website said this has international coverage and claims need to be done through BCBS Global Core division. But BCBS NE is very slow (like over a month) to respond to any Global …

  25. I have now needed an MRI since March. They have denied this twice now despite jumping through hoops and spending extra money on pointless physical therapy (my physician and therapists words, not mine). I’m not sure what i pay you for, because it’s not to take care of me

  26. 11/3/22 Update: BCBS has correctly paid all the mispaid claims from the past The total amount of the mispaid claims reached nearly $500,000.00 before they admitted their errors, and paid all the claims as required by their customer’s …

  27. Called to gain GENERAL information for adult coverage (cost etc.) When I stated that I would wait and call back later since I had missing information the response from the lady on the phone was “okay well next time you have questions about …

  28. Horrible insurance. Horrible. For my last check up they “contributed” $10 dollars to the entire bill. TEN DOLLARS. They hardly cover anything…if anything at all. I would NEVER recommend this insurance to ANYONE. Stay far away if possible.

  29. I have blue cross thru work, While things where fine when I was doing normal check ups, seeing my Primary care and heart DR, Blue cross really shined in august 2020 when I contracted COVID_19 before vaccines. I spent 4 weeks in the hospital …

  30. Maybe you all shouldn’t be in this industry? When I have a question about not receiving my insurance card and have to wait 10 minutes to talk to someone for them to just hang up on me after a single sentence then you’re not doing your job …

  31. They are the worst healthcare insurance company to work with. BCBS is not that bad but Healthy Blue is awful. They cover next to nothing, cut people off for no defendable reason, then when you call to schedule a peer to peer and the call …

  32. The members service reps will lie and mislead you to believe you will be able to have prescriptions covered when that is not the case. BCBS has strung me along for 2 weeks, repeatedly making me believe they were helping me get an exception …

  33. Horrible company. I have had better HMO plans in California. I don’t know how they expect anybody to meet a $13,000 deductible for a family of three. My husband and son are very healthy. I recently received a kidney transplant and need an …
