Caney Fork Electric Cooperative Reviews ( 25 )

  1. If I could give less than one star I would. The people here are rude and talk to you like you’re stupid. Also will cut you off mid sentence. Small town people are the rudest

  2. I have never had issues with these people when paying my bill in person and rarely do I lose power even during really strong storms. If I do lose power then it isn’t long before it is back on.

  3. Caney Fork evaluated my electrical usage and gave me ways to reduce my electric bill in the future. They let me pay as much as I could which was over three quarters of the bill and catch it up next month. The water indepartment has done that for me in the past

  4. Nothing good to say and not enough space to list the negatives . I just wish EPB was around here. That is a true class act company, this is worse than comparing fiber wire vs dial up if this was a internet provider story.

  5. Numerous outages, especially in the summer months. Not just when storming but even when there’s not a cloud in the sky! Small town utility apparently unable to keep up with demand. UPDATE, they finally identified the problem for our neighborhood and fixed it right away. Changed review from 1 star to 4 stars. Thanks!

  6. If I could make it less than 1 star I would . I never complain about customer service, because I have worked it and I know it stinks a lot of the time. This is the 10th crappy encounter I have had with this company in the last year .They …

  7. Caney Fork Electric, you guys are life savers!!! Our water heater died yesterday morning and thanks to you we have a brand new one today. Thanks for helping us fix our problem, keep up the awesome work.

  8. So far in the time I have had Caney Fork has been less than ideal. I never received my bill so my power was shut off then they told me they are not responsible if we did not get the bill. Now we have had a severe storm that knocked out our …

  9. I’ve had 3 power outages in one week. Everytime I call I get a robot turning me away..not how you deal with customers especially if it’s a call in line to report outages. It may be due to low staff and high amounts of calls…but that’s not even the problem. I expected them to find and fix this issue already it’s what I’m paying for.

  10. Power is currently out and has been for hours and they give you a message about high call volume and then call disconnects. They need to provide a map on their website that gives an estimated time for repairs. People have disabled family …

  11. My husband had called to set up electric on our raw land. We are very new to this as we have never done this before. Customer service is not very friendly. I advice you to train your employees on how to speak a bit friendlier to those …

  12. 12/24 at 8:15 am. Thank you for waiting until I got all my cookies baked before the rolling blackout hit. My neighbors will be very happy!!! Thanks again and Happy Christmas!!!

  13. We all hate the expense of convenience, but I have found the workers at CFE to be very nice and helpful. Don’t forget they are our neighbors and they suffer the same power outages due to accidents and storms that we do. It’s not their fault and they scramble when necessary to restore power.

  14. 30 year old Red Bud at edge of Caney Fork R-O-W killed by cutting a ring around the bark and leaving it for me to cut down and haul away… Chemical poured on the base of century old walnut tree not in the R-O-W… Am I being targeted for inquiring about moving the R-O-W..?
