Poor service response, poor water pressure, poor direction as a company,I am sorry that other than a decision to dig my own water well I am tied to this company.
Extremely rude and unhelpful, i tried to set service up and it has been a hassle. I’m tempted to go outside and start diggging a well rather than deal with them, it would be less painful.
Rude, poor customer service. Been a “have no other choice” customer of this monopoly for about 5 years. Would definitely find another service were that an option.
Absolutely ridiculous service! Can hardly stand living were I do just because of having to deal with clwsc water is lost CONSTANTLY and takes DAYS to restore! Worst service I have ever had to deal with!!
Rates have more than doubled in the last t years since they took over. Big California investors stealing from the hard working Texas folks. Sad they can’t earn their own money.
The service is horrible….. we loose our water all the time and receive no explanation. When we call they are rude and offer no help…. all they say is it’s problems with our water lines…. it never has been our problem but always there’s. They just need some competition in this area!!!!!!

Out of all the utility companies I have dealt with in the last 45 years, this water company has to be the absolute worst. We have constant water outages and the company seems to be very unconcerned.
Very high rates. Not friendly customer service. Charge extra to pay by credit card. Takes 8 to 10 days to E-Pay thru your bank. Payment is late by the time they receive it. They will not waive late fees.
Unfortunately when the COOP sold out to this company, they did so without any protection for rate payers. We now have the highest rates of any system. And water quality has not improved.
1 star. Would not recommend. Haven’t had any water at all for 5 days. Poor communication. Flat out false statements over and over. Our entire neighborhood is in the same boat. Everyone is beyond frustrated.
Absolutely the least caring of any utility company I have done business with in my 74 years. This is what you get when your utilities are controlled by out of state left wing money grabbers
Would give this review 0 stars if possible! Came home from work today and our water is off! Of course it’s after 4:30pm or whatever time they close and so all I have gotten is their answering service who is supposed to page the on call …
Rates are not competitive, but they don’t have to be when they monopolized my area. They charge you $50 a month just to have a meter, not even using water on my lot and still being charged. Additionally the online payment system is …
Cannot understand how a company as large as is CLWS could put their dedicated and long customers a week and even more with no water. It’s horrible and personally, if there was a different water service company close by, I would drop CLWS and jump aboard with water!
I would give a 5 star, if CLWSC would communicate a possibility of a water shut off occuring. I’m not asking for an individual to go door to door but a simple call would suffice. I have been a customer going on 4 yrs. When i call in a water …

Front desk personnel are nice and friendly. However the CLWSC billing system is archaic. You cannot set up a new autopay account using a credit card. You cannot pay online with a credit card without paying an additional convenience fee. …
Absolutely ridiculous how many times we lose water at our house. Several times a month we are unable to shower, flush toilets, do laundry, wash hands or dishes. If we had another option, we’d use it. But since they know that we don’t, they don’t care. Never have I had this problem any where else we’ve lived. So Frustrated!!!
Shaking my head..I was told to hire a plumber to tell me what the psi coming into my house from your system is? I understand that a plumber is required to install a pressure regulating valve if the pressure is too high…but I would …
Please improve communication in the form of local human customer service. Automated emails and robotic calls do not replace real people who could give answers instead of the run-around! Losing water is bad enough. A lack of real, compassionate and knowledgeable customer service just compounds the problem!
Worse water company we ever dealt with. Terrible on line forms, an absolute nightmare to get water shut off and for the tenant to apply for new service. Never seen anything like it. Office remains closed and I was told it will remain so until September. Why??? Get the vaccination and open up!!!

Our entire neighborhood has been without water for over 24 hours now, with no relief in sight. And nobody answers the phone at CLWSC. Yes, these are adverse conditions. But shouldn’t a utility company (that charges an arm and a leg) be …

It’s ridiculous to refer me to a site when shutting it down would take less time than explaining the online procedure.

Terrible. My water bill has been paid in full every month and on time. I woke up on a Saturday and the water was off. Called in to inquire on any issues. There was no one available at the office to address immediate problems. I guess municipal water is only important Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. What a joke.

Their after hours service process is broken. Techs are great, their after hours contract call center is unresponsive.
Customer service sucks
Worst service from an utility company ever!
Horrible ! 1 week without water and ZERO communication. ANSWER YOUR PHONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cant get an uptade as to when they will restore water been calling for a week with no response….
Its been, 6 days…. 6 days. Without any water. They Failed us tremendously.
Poor service response, poor water pressure, poor direction as a company,I am sorry that other than a decision to dig my own water well I am tied to this company.
I have low pressure in my bathroom and no water in my kitchen I need my water fast
More expensive than nearby districts and very unreliable.
Besides the obvious mishandling of the winter storm, they also have no way of communicating with them outside of normal business hours.
Extremely rude and unhelpful, i tried to set service up and it has been a hassle. I’m tempted to go outside and start diggging a well rather than deal with them, it would be less painful.
this is a little chickenpoop company from California that charges all they can for water then wants additional money to allow you to pay them online.
Now charging for website credit card. Monopoly at its best.
Rates are excessively high.
Water goes out frequently, often without notice. Like living in a third world country.
Rude, poor customer service. Been a “have no other choice” customer of this monopoly for about 5 years. Would definitely find another service were that an option.
The absolute worst service ever. When is SAWS coming in
I kept calling for information about water outages around Canyon Lake and didnt even get a ring tone.
Straight Crooks, we pay every month on TIME!, and we have 3 random penalty fees.
Thank you for helping us with our water leak. We appreciate your service. Canyon Lake Water Service goes out of they way to help their customers.
The most ridiculous water fees I’ve ever seen. And unfortunately we have no other option but to use them.
Absolutely ridiculous service! Can hardly stand living were I do just because of having to deal with clwsc water is lost CONSTANTLY and takes DAYS to restore! Worst service I have ever had to deal with!!
If it wasn’t for mismanagement, there would be no management. If it’s not zebra mussels, it’s arsenic. They would screw up a nocturnal emission.
Inability to provide effective outage and activity/action communication. Poor risk mitigation especially related to power outages.
We are brand new to Canyon Lake just bought a house. Horrible customer service. Not a nice way to welcome us to the neighborhood
I am not sure how this places can’t or will NOT improve its service. The new billing service is the worse yet! Please fix yourself CLWSC !!’
