Honestly, I miss Republic!!! With the change, I’ve noticed a huge difference in service. Carolina Waste needs to take notes. They’re inconsistent with the days they come and they won’t even get out of the truck to pick up a small box on the side of your can. Plus they’ll drop your can on the ground and drive away. Bulk pickup service did not show up on multiple (three) scheduled occurrences. Customer service kept claiming they were sending the driver back out next day to “catch up” but they never showed. Very disjoint operation. Complete runaround from “management” who the customer service reps voluntarily escalated to. Don’t waste your time.
This company performs its stated purpose well. There is never trash left in the yard on pick up day. They close every Tuesday as scheduled. I even get a notification telling me when they will come each week. Most of us can’t choose our waste service provider but I find this one chosen for me to be just fine.
