Center for Family Medicine is a primary care provider office located in Sherman, Texas. Our family medicine practice has been serving the North Texas community since 1989. Our office is open 6 days a week for urgent appointments and we have 12 providers on-site to serve your healthcare needs. We treat patients ages 2 and up and are committed to providing the best possible care to each and every member of your family.

Dr. Ockwig is absolutely amazing and really cares about his patients. He’s my first ever Dr. And I’m blessed to have one that cares. I didn’t even feel the shots his nurses gave me.

Not really an urgent care facility. Went in with a minor scalp injury and was told they had no one that could see me. Went to Heritage Park Surgical Hospital instead
Dr Woods has been my Dr for years and I would not go to anyone else. Wonderful Dr and a wonderful person.
Definitely avoid. There are some good doctors but the service has gone down in recent years.
This doctor office provides excellent PCP care and weekend Urgent care.
My personal doctor Ghenie was always really professional. As for the front desk. Very slow and unresponsive when it comes to their patients.

After going there for over 20 yrs I recently lost my insurance and they would hound me with bill collectors if my debt was just $100 or if I missed a pymt. Once they would not refill a prescription for my heart that I could not miss until I made a $50 pymt on a $150 debt. All they care about is $$$ not you!!!!!!!
There are a few Drs that are good here. But one in particular charged me for a procedure that was not performed. Asking me to pay a bill for services not rendered is a total con and i would avoid CFM like the plague. …

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this practice! The doctors and staff are compassionate and knowledgeable. The wait is very short and everyone is friendly. They are the most organized office I’ve ever been to. The doctors and Nurse Practitioners are always willing to spend time and listen. I’m so grateful I found them!
