  8. Been going there six months and no complaints. The entire staff makes me feel welcome. Only complaint is the handicap parking. Some days the extra steps to the doorway really hurts. I’m old n disabled.

  9. Dr. Stacy Lane has a vision of respectful healthcare for those who might otherwise be marginalized. She and her staff have become friends and allies to many patients, including myself.

  17. They help LGBTQIA+ people with getting medical care, things needed like testosterone for transition, binders, recovery meetings, primary care, electrolysis, rehabs, and more. Definitely a valuable asset to our Allegheny East community.

  18. Central Outreach provides full medical care to the LGBTQI community. They’re professional, friendly, and helpful. It’s also quite easy to get seen without an appointment, if needed.

  19. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained everything I needed to know and told to ask them if I had any questions. Didn’t even wait in the waiting room for very long! Great experience for my first visit. Can’t wait to go back in 2 weeks 🙂

  20. Dr. Lane is the absolute best! I have never had a physican in the past who could compare to her. She is personable, kind, listens and truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her and her awesome staff.

  21. Most amazing doctor ever, she cares to a fault . she is always on the front lines she caters to the lost who need someone to care about them and she sees “VIP” patients the kind that would normally go out of town for care for professional …

  22. This is a very caring place that welcomes everyone with open arms. No matter what you look like or identify as there’s no judgement there. The staff is well trained and extremely knowledgeable. They will help you every step of the way with whatever health journey you are on. I definitely recommend going. Love and respect to all of you!

  23. The staff is young and unorganized in general, one never sees a Dr but instead rotating nurses. I felt my health care was gravely mismanaged and inappropriate comments were part of my visits regularly. I have left for more comprehensive and professional care

  26. Front desk person was not wearing their mask, I was misgendered three times by the medical assistant, and the provider was judgey and invasive. The provider also made me super uncomfortable bygby way to close to me. I ended up walking out. Will never go back.

  27. I am going there for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). And I can say they are AMAZING. When I went in to get my bloodwork done they made me extremely comfortable. (I am TERRIFIED of needles). But the woman who drew my blood made jokes and …

  28. I could not think of a place that could have a more open and accepting staff. Their professionalism, kindness, and care is defiantly strong where other offices have started to fail. To know that there is a LGBTQA Medical office so readily …

  29. Very poor experience. TL;DR: Experienced misgendering, dangerous medical malpractice, and ableism.

  30. I’ve been outside for an hour and 45 minutes waiting on a sick appointment in 90 degree weather lol. I understand they may want to do a covid test but at least respond in an appropriate amount of time because I honestly feel so sick from sitting here I may have to leave without receiving any medical care

  43. If you are non-binary/genderqueer of any sort, be careful about the mental health services here. When I was questioning my identity, I received invalidation and accusations. The people involved seem to have good intentions with other patients, but they do not work well with people outside the norm.

  44. Misgendered me in health records on all counts. When called, they didn’t fix that – half of the health records still misgender me – and had the audacity to say it was because my ID still reads as M. 1. They never asked for an ID, 2. My ID has read as F for a while.

  45. I’m a trans man and this was my PCP for about 2 years. Great doctors and nurses for the most part, maybe one doctor I didn’t like. The nurse Matt was the best, Always organized, even the people at the front desk gave helpful advice.

  49. Lucky to have a place like this in Pgh. My PCP stopped accepting my insurance so I decided to go here out of comfortability and openness. Everyone is extremely kind and there with no judgement.

  50. They help everyone no questions asked. Sick, homeless, and they’re super accommodating to those of us with mental health issues. Highly recommend this clinic if you’re looking for a judgement-free zone, where nobody seems to think they’re better than anyone else!
