Central Utah Surgical Center-Blng Reviews ( 48 )

  1. Been trying to forget how terrified my experience was here. I took my 18 year old to get his knee surgery here. From checking him into the clinic to nurses prepping him for the morning surgery the anesthesia nurse they were great thank you. …

  2. I have had two surgeries here. I will not return to this facility. My first surgery was in January 2021. Everything went well, from check in, pre-op, procedure, post-op, billing. My second surgery was in November 2022. My pre-op nurse was …

  3. Awesome responsible and caring staff. This is a well oiled machine. Hospitals and clinics would do well to try and run like this center does. Hats off to a great facility.

  4. If I could, I wouldn’t be putting any stars for this place! You people are disgusting and greedy, I was never told I would be charged separately for something that was urgent, you people racked up a bill of over $350 that I had to pay and …

  5. Great service from the staff at CUSC, from the moment I registered to the wheel-chair out to the car — Individualized attention to the patient — Very caring employees that answered your questions and made sure that you knew what was going on from the start to end of the surgical procedure — THANKS CUSC —

  6. It is extremely likely that I got COVID from a procedure at this medical center and then they billed $3,000 for a biopsy that took 20 minutes to complete.

  7. Maybe it’s time to get out of the 19th century and have on-line bill payment. And if you are going to refuse to do that, then at least have answering machine/service that lists your correct hours for folks to call in to pay. It’s 2020, for heaven’s sake, not 1980.

  8. Absolutely awful. I had a check up in June and thought I’d paid for everything at the time of the check up. Since then they’ve tried to collect over $300 in collections for a 15 min check up. Instead of calling me or sending me a bill they sent me straight to collections. They will take advantage of you.

  9. Great nurses and staff. However, in scheduling the appointment they repeatedly instructed me to come in at 10:30 and I ended up sitting in the lobby for well over an hour.

  10. These guys really helped me out like any other surgical unit would but they were extremely efficient and respectful of my time. My nurse was great and so was the anesthesiologist and Doctor Hill. Great experience!

  11. The staff is very nice and friendly. The facility is very nice, however, it is very noisy with only curtain dividers between patients waiting for surgery and in the recovery room. I would have liked more privacy.

  12. This place is a factory. They literally line you up back to back, resulting in hours of waiting for the Dr. to hastily move from patient to patient. The facility felt dated, and billing is a nightmare. They process you in anyway that …

  13. I had my Dr. send an order for a colonoscopy, but I never did receive a call to schedule an appointment. Finally I called them and had to leave a voice mail for the scheduler of appointments, Kelly I believe, to call me back. She never …

  14. Nicole is the sweetest nurse alive that helped me recuperate after having my tonsils out. Very caring understanding and patient staff. Highly recomend this facility for your surgery. Dr. Robins is excellent.

  15. Not a super great experience i take my mom in to go have surgery and we wait out turn and finally we are called back and the nurse stops me saying sorry you cant come to the recovery room and he is like if i let you come back then i have …

  16. If I could give a no star review I would. This place is totally incompetent with incompetent anesthesiologists that work there. I mean they train for this for a long time. Well I’m glad we didn’t up going with them, I’d probably gone …

  17. I came here for an interview earlier this year- I was told the position was worth me waiting for- that I was high on their list of canidates. I kept my patience though they made me wait three weeks for an answer. I got a call on a monday- …

  18. I believe you captured the essence of an oxymoron which you define as health care. I am a retired 30+ year retired veteran of the United States Air Force who experienced a myriad of medical facilities all over the world (some even in third …

  19. Really I would give this place minus stars if it were possible. My daughter has surgery sceduled at 12:45 PM. When we arrive, after driving 90 minutes to get here, we are informed that her surgery was changed to 2:15. Finally at 3:00 PM, …

  20. I just had knee surgery here today and had a great experience (minus the getting surgery part haha). The nurses and doctors were all very kind and helpful. They had water, snacks, blankets, and other things I needed while recovering. Great surgical center!

  21. This was my original post:
I had to get hand surgery because I broke my fifth metacarpal. They performed surgery on New Year’s Eve morning. After the nerve blocker that they had given me …

  22. We loved our experience there. Our 3 year old son got his tonsils removed and they were so sweet and patient with us and him. All the nurses were amazing. Our doctor was awesome. They were very quick too! The attention the nurses gave us …

  23. The nurses that i interacted with before my husband went into his procedure were rude, constantly rolled their eyes with any questions and ignored us half the time. Not a very friendly team except for the doctor who is wonderful.

  24. I really loved my experience here everyone was so friendly and made sure I was taken care of. There wasn’t tons of waiting time and everyone was very prompt. They made sure I knew what to do when going home and what to expect. When calling …

  25. Had surgery here last week and was a little nervous having to be by myself because of covid since no one could come in with me. But honestly every single person I met was so kind and so nice and happy and they all made sure I was ok and …

  26. Avoid this surgical center if you can. Billing, scheduling, and Revere do not communicate well. I’ve come here several times throughout the years and they just keep getting worse. Be prepared to call weekly (at least) to get your claims to process correctly.

  27. Things went well the first time but not as much the second time. They scheduled me last that day for a cataract procedure then left me sitting fully prepared with eye drops and IV prep for around 1/2 hour waiting for others so by the time I …

  28. Not sure about the surgery part is this but communication is horrible. I get that COVid is happening but my husband went to surgery and I was told it would be a few hour for the surgery and then sometime for recovery. Got a text from MD …

  29. I had my gallbladder removed by Dr. Brian Gill here. The nurses (I had Brooke preparing me for my procedure) were great. She helped me feel at ease throughout the morning and right before the surgery. The anesthesiologist stopped by to …

  30. I really loved the nurses and staff at this facility. They were all incredibly intensive and I felt cared for and remembered. Only four stars because I did end up waiting in the bed after getting in my surgical gown for 2 full hours and my …

  31. Had to visit here for a simple procedure. Alot of waiting but that kinda happens if the Dr gets held up in surgery. Got called back and the nurse that did my IV was very snippy. I’m not a huge fan of needles so I looked away and when she …

  32. The front office staff was very efficient and the nurses were friendly and empathetic. They happily brought me three additional warm blankets when one and two didn’t do the trick. After the procedure when my ride picked me up, I experienced …

  33. My son has had two surgical procedures there over the last three years and both have been very good experiences. In our most recent visit, our procedure was delated by about three hours (not the centers fault) due to a case that became …

  34. Billing department demanded 50% of a nearly $6000 procedure upfront. I then said I could not do it and they wanted to get me to sign up for a credit card to do so. This is before the procedure has happened. It is also before my insurance has been billed. I will not be giving them any more of my business.

  35. The while experience was miserable. My daughter was scheduled for 9:15 and wasn’t taken back into surgery until 12:24 which didn’t help her anxiety at all. We signed a payment plan only for them to call a month later to say it tripled. The …

  36. Surgery went great. Payments, not so much. I made payment arrangements that should have been evenly split into 3 months. Instead, they did 2 payments and still show I owe a balance! For the past 2 months! …

  37. The staff—everyone from the front desk to the nurses and anesthesiologists were kind, compassionate, and helpful. I was asked multiple times if I wanted a warm blanket while waiting for my thyroid lobectomy and given extra time and …

  38. I was there with my 3 year-old son last week for his adenoidectomy. Also, I’m pregnant which makes me more sentimental than normal. I was very nervous even though it is a simple procedure, because I have never been through a surgery with my …
