  1. I’m always dropping 500 at a time with these people. Just to keep water and sewer flowing and trash. But why pay a fire fee if it’s included in homeowners insurance? The worst set up by the city of Charleston. We paying the city rent to live here.

  6. Well, since our Sanitation bill has more than tripled in the last 20yrs and is now more than our water bill, I gotta say they suck. But we don’t have a choice so we gotta pay. And with all that money they are getting from their forced customers you’d think they’d use some of that money to make on-line bill pay possible.

  14. Worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. I was hung up on once and the “supervisor” insulted and belittled me. They will not send you a bill and then a notice of termination will show up one day giving you less than a week to pay or have your water shut off.

  17. They don’t send bills or notices. They charge you an extra fee to pay a bill. Just ridiculous. Turning off water without telling you and making you jump through hoops to get it back on. But the woman working the front desk was nice.

  19. Place has terrible service. They don’t care about anyone or anything but their money. Charge you twice as much as the water company. And the old lady up front when you go to pay the bill deserves to be fired for her nasty attitude. Needless to say, the sanitation board does no help and sucks as a company.

  20. Terrible customer service, just moved into a home and water was shut off the first day because the previous resident of the house owes them money. I’ve been passed back and forth from this company and to American water now two or three times with no avail.

  21. Why can’t I make a partial payment online or on the phone? Why do I have to take the bus which are few and far between in the cold when I’m disabled just to make a payment? Outrageously high bill.

  22. Absolutely the worst payment systems of all time. Phone or website doesn’t matter they both are terrible, I’ve never had so difficult of a time just trying to pay bills.
