Could not make an appointment, not accepting new patients and receptionist was quite rude about it. Disappointed in the unprofessional attitude of this clinic.
I adore Dr. Asao-Ragosta and the team at Charlottesville Family Medicine. I have been a patient for several years and have always received high quality care.
Everyone in the office is very kind and helpful! I transferred from a Privia practice in another state and it was seamless…just had to update my address; no new patient paperwork.
Up until my last visit they have been stellar! Do not see Dr. Flowers! He didn’t listen at all to me and 2 days later I went to Med Express because after 1 appointment at prescribed physical therapy I could not walk!
Love this practice. So, so helpful, always friendly. I have a complicated medical history so it is very important to me that the doc has a broad knowledge base. Calls are returned, Rx are handled promptly and you CAN speak to the doctor. Nurses and admin are UBER helpful over the phone when possible. Great people, great care.
This was the worst family medicine practice that I have been to. I was only able to be seen by an incompetent NP (Janet Miller) because that was the only appointment available for months. I was hoping to be seen by an actually trained MD …
Let’s face it, with the pandemic, it is harder to interact and reach people. That includes the office of you doctor. It is even hard to reach mine, Charlottesville Family Medicine, at times. A couple of times, I had to leave a voicemail. …
I became a new patient three days ago. After over a year of never seeing an actual doctor and just NPs taking guesses at my condition at my previous office, I decided to try out CFM. The registration was quick and easy, the office was clean …
I have seen multiple different doctors and nurse practitioners over the years here who have worked up a few issues for me. They are easy to schedule, their person is great at drawing blood for those of us who hate having needles poked into …
Dr. Petrizio did a great job and is a solid physician – up-to-date, respectful, patient, great communicator. Unfortunately, I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully by a professional staff as I was here. I have 3 family members that will …
Somehow my review from a few years ago got deleted, so I will reshare my experience. The doctors here don’t care about helping the patients. They have never wanted to evaluate my symptoms in any way other than give me depression meds. They …
I have always had a positive experience with CFM. My NP is smart and I trust her her to listen and cover all the bases. The office staff are respectful and efficient. My only issue is with the building. I was a patient at Mill Creek and …
This is the most consistently time-conscious doctors office I’ve ever been to. I never have to wait more than just a few minutes in the waiting room or the exam room. The staff is super friendly. Overall, they make what is usually a …
I have been a patient at CFM for 15 years, which is when I moved to Charlottesville. They have continued to give good care and have great care givers. NP Janet Miller is as good if not better than an MD. I have had several chronic …
The entire staff–from reception to nurses to phlebotomists to nurse practitioners to doctors–is committed to delivering the best results for you. I’ve been attending their offices for seven years and have never felt anything but care.
I have been seeing Christine Butterman NP.
Mrs. Butterman has been very thorough in her care and to have somebody who listens and hears you, and creates action plans when you say you’re not well is so …
Never going back there. I scheduled a new patient visit for preventative care, which is fully covered by my insurance, but CFM coded it as a medical visit and I received a bill. I called their office to ask about it several times. They told …
Really thankful for the friendly and professional care of Elaya and Zander. Elaya helped prep me for the appointment, was cheerful, and immediately shaped my experience at the Berkmar location. Zander provided a personalized analysis of my ailment and gave me reasoned options to fix it. Customer service matters.
My friend has been with this office for over 15 yrs,and she was very ill, and in High intense pain, and was seen by Dr. Flowers, and was a big mistake, and dr.flat lied to her regarding Blood pressure check, and her blood pressure was …
I’ve been going to CFM for almost two decades and while I’ve met a lot of wonderful staff members, Elaya is truly a gem and consistently comes through for patients in a thorough, precise, and timely manner — very often beyond the typical …
Dr Asao is lovely. The office, however, has a habit of sending bills to collection *after the bill is paid*. We’ve encountered this often enough now that I’m officially reviewing on Google: Beware their billing practices! I’ve got a …
Better punctuality could go a long way. I’m expected to show up early for my appointment but told that the doctor is typically late. I was waiting in the room for about 30 minutes. It would be appreciated if this was improved.
This office sent me to collections after I missed an appointment for a new patient visit. They never reminded me of the appointment nor did they inform me of their no show policy or provide any paperwork informing me of these policies. Upon …
I’m fairly new to CFM. I was referred to them by a family member. I’ve been seeing NP Alexander Hendrick. I have nothing but positive things to say about him: great listener, has patience, never rushes my visits, responds to my emails in a …
I’ve been a patient of CFM a little bit more than a year. Dr. Asayo-Ragosta is wonderful and I never had any problems with her. But her nurse Rosa..
Never call back, never call to talk about my blood work results, I actually were …
Front desk always extremely rude inperson and over the phone. I changed doctors due to this. My coworkers who go here say the same thing.
Great providers of health care. They listen and really care about your well being!
Had ear wax impaction fixed. Nurse was extremely cordial and thorough.
overcharge for services above what plan allows then blame the their billing service privia. appear polite, but less than honest. buyer beware.
Dr. Chesler is outstanding in understanding the health concerns of senior citizens. His nurse Aleyah is intelligent, personable, and efficient.
Dr. Chesler and staff made sure I was taken care of and were helpful and precise when a task needed immediate attention.
