I have lived several places in northern Michigan within my lifetime. Cherryland power has been the best service we’ve ever had, hands-down I can only think of one brief time that power was interrupted, but their communication was so great through the whole thing. My neighbors echo the same sentiments.
Friendly service
Excellent service crew.
Great service and great co-op!
very responsive service – thank you!
Great people and very helpful
This electric company is a top level company!!!
Fantastic response and willing to work with you!
Will not return calls regarding business opportunities.
Melissa you’re rude. I hope you get fired bruh.
Great service and I can talk to a “person” if I have a question.
I told them I can pay my bill on Friday they would not wait one day
Needed to upgrade my power to house and worked with Chris Holmes. She is awesome! Thanks Chris 🙂
this place is a joke…first of all if you miss a single payment they shut everything off…
then on top of that if there is even a little bit of a storm you can expect to have an outage…high horse but low standards..if you have a choice go with somebody else….
Love this company and what they stand for! Plus, they’re very involved with the community and produce helpful information every month.
Outstanding service. In 2018 when the underground service on our road was installed. Always quick to respond to any issues we may have.
I have been a Cherryland Electric customer for 18 years and it has provided reliable and great service that has improved every year.
Worst company am a disabled combat vet who was struggling paying off last bill due to pandemic and loss of work ect and they sent me off to a collections company with in a month even while trying to work with them the whole time if u can …
This company is a scam. Unfortunately it is the only service you can get in certain areas. If there was another company, this company would be out of business. They steal from their customers, they don’t follow the laws and regulations, …
I had a different power supplier before moving on Cherryland’s lines and I am so thankful to be a member of the co-op. I now have much more reliable service and I am paying less than I did before. Thank you for all you do!
Cherryland Electric Cooperative has provided electricity to my cottage in Grand Traverse County since it was purchased in 2001. I have been very pleased with the dependable electric service, timely communication, and minimal service interruptions over the past 19 years.
So far very good company always willing to help. They (so far) have treated me very well. Oh and they definitely are a treat to deal with more than the major electricity company
Never had a issue with them. If your gonna be late let them know. As for outages when they do go out there the fastest to get back on. They will work with you if you have problems with paying bills. They give you plenty of time too my bill comes 20 days before due and you can set up payment plans
Had to pay $150 deposit to get our electric in my name. Was told I’d get it back after 3 months of on time payments. Called them about it and they changed it to 6 months. They wouldn’t explain to me what the deposit was for, just that I had …
This company is the worst! They exploit their customers and every customer service rep I have ever talked to was cold, and short as if doing their job was a huge inconvenience. They will NOT work with families of poverty. My husband has …
We lost power around 10:30p on a Saturday, being a cabin a ways from populated areas and being used to our downstate power experiences, we figured we wouldn’t have it back on for days. They restored power around 3a that night. The other …
We have a second home that is serviced by Cherryland Electric Coop. I have been delighted to work with them from the beginning. Every contact has been a positive experience, with knowledgeable, friendly employees and good results. When I …
I missed one payment due to a problem with my debit card. I missed one payment of almost 100 – and I had my power terminated. Now, instead of collecting $100.00; Cherryland now wants $250.00 to reconnect. That is a racket. However, I’ll …
Shutting off my electricity in the winter really nice of you guy! I’m a single dad with a 5 year old!!!! Won’t even (work out payments) with me! I’ll be praying for these people to get a heart. Oh yeah I also told them I just had surgery!!!!!!!
What? My electric company knows me? That’s right, they know me. Me personally! Because they’re local and they care about the community. Customer service second to none. (Ever think an electric company would tell you not to buy an …
I sold my house and moved to a different county in June. On August 24 I received a letter from a collection agency representing Cherryland Electric for $124.36. What? I have always had excellent credit and this sham of an electric company is trying to ruin it and get in my pocket one last time. Horrible customer service!!!!
We just had our line moved because we are adding an addition to our garage. The guys that came out today were friendly and fast! They had the project complete in less than an hour (start to finish). Thank you Cherryland and please let your guys know how much we appreciated them.
I really wish I didn’t have to use this company for electric! Customer service was awful! Oh… Cherryland is short of the power needed to supply traverse city’s busiest time of the year..? Imagine that… Sounds pretty typical of a company …
I have enjoyed some of Cherryland Electric features and efficiencies. I have had customer service representatives that I found to be very rude and abrasive.
5 power outages at our house in less than a month; none of which were weather related. I understand that an outage now and then is inevitable, but this is ridiculous. First three were small animals, fourth was a downed line, and who knows …
