  8. Following the 12/11 severe storm outbreak, I tried to call to check on a long term outage at an essential broadcast radio site and got into a never ending automated attendant loop. At least Florence Utilities has a map of their outages for verification. This is not the first time that they failed to answer during emergencies.

  12. I moved into a Stutts home 7 months ago. I have put in numerous maintenance request for my toilet to be fixed. It has been broken since we moved in. Frank who is over maintenance tells me he is taking care of it but my toilet is still broken.

  13. Sheffield Utilities charges a minimum for service even if you did not come close to using that. I had power for a little over a week while moving and they charged me “minimums” equaling around $120. They are a scam.

  14. Our power comes from Brown’s Ferry Nuclear Plant so what does gas prices have to do with our power because it is Nuclear. The closest gas burners are Chattanooga and I am positive our power doesn’t come from there

  15. Communicating with this office is almost impossible by phone. I cannot imagine running a business this way and Sheffield city commission and Utilities board members should be embarrassed. Given who some of them are, I doubt they care about serving the public…just lining their pockets.
