Poor service. Can’t make partial payments over the phone. You guys need to fix that for people living week to week and paycheck to paycheck. Not impressed at all

Best bank I have ever went to. The only thing I dislike is, if you need to go inside to talk to someone you will be waiting for a little bit the lines are a bit long but it’s worth the wait the staff is very nice and friendly
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! Their staff is not trained in the most basic functions (ordering checks, navigating their website) and they will place you on hold for half an hour and get NOTHING done. They also do not return calls.

It’s starting to be very ridiculous coming to the bank on a Saturday morning. I am so sick of the line back up to the door and only 2 tellers. It’s not that hard to find employees.
Due to the other negative reviews, I feel compelled to write my positive experience. I just got a car loan through them and Amy Soler from the Waukegan office has been nothing but pleasant and made me feel comfortable with every choice. She has worked with me every step of the way and I can’t thank her enough.
Every single person I have spoken to has provided a TRUE customer experience and made my process very easy. If every bank or credit union was like consumers finance and financial goals would be easier to attain. Thank you all at CCU keep up the awesome work.
I have been banking with Consumers for several years and just did another car loan with them. I have found them to have the lowest auto loan rates plus their rewards checking provides the best return from any bank or credit union in the country

Overcrowded, low staffed, atm’s always down or out of money. Drivethrough always seems like only two people working even at busiest times.
