Only come here if you want to wait 3 hours in the waiting room. Came in with my friend who had attempted to end her life with pills and they made us wait in the waiting room with her while she came in and out of consciousness and in severe pain for at least 2+ hours. What a joke of a hospital.
Went to this hospital for the First time with Really Bad Anxiety and the Doctor told me there was no treatment for that…? He made me feel like i was a drug addict just for asking for help. Never will go back to this Hospital!
Avoid at all costs. They will not run proper tests and will do their best to get you and in and out as quickly as possible. If there is something seriously wrong, do your best to get to UVM, particularly if you are giving birth as there is no NICU in case of complications.
copley is the worst hospital ive ever been in. here is a person that is disabled that walks into the hospital for help to only be looked at and judged before they can even talk.. i am from another state in town for a family member that is …
Fantastic hospital with compassionate care givers. I have been a tourist at Stowe for many years and the hospital improves in service and care every time we need it. Orthopods are amazing!
Due to a skiing accident, I was taken to emerg at Copley Hospital on January 18th, 2015. I want to thank the ambulance attendants for their care and professionalism. …
Although I cannot fault my interaction with the orthopaedic doctor, physical therapy was an utter low. Lots of yatta yatta, ignoring the instructions of the doctor and no work, no hands. Resentful that they bill my insurance direct, as it …
Seen in ER last night for a crush injury to my pinky while vacationing in VT. Myself an MD, I was impressed by the organization, professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. Lisa Black, PA and nurse Mary were exceptional.
The only reason I am alive is because the nurses, doctors and techs in the ER saved my life- PERIOD. On the night of 2/07/2013 I suffered a brain aneurysm – they acted so rapidly, efficiently, professionally and correctly that I survived …
Ill update after my grievances are filed and contact with my attorney after my ER visit last evening. I’m appalled by my “treatment”…from the 2 ladies at check in….to the triage nurse and Dr, all seriously failed at their jobs.
The absolute worst hospital experience I have ever had. The only person who was nice was my nurse. But here is why I will never appreciate this hospital…
1. When I was severely ill, to the point of going in and out of consciousness in …
When visiting a friend in Vermont I needed ER services. I’d give the Copley staff 5 stars for being friendly and kind, somewhat less for the level of professional care, but my experience since leaving has been extremely disappointing. I …
I had been admitted to ER and underwent a surgical procedure. Words can’t be expressed for the care I received in ER, surgery and post care. Doctors, nurses and aides… everyone excellent… made me feel that I am at home and not at hospital…
Surgery runs like clockwork. Everyone is competent and compassionate. All Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for anesthesia and they are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Small town friendliness with big city technology and competency.
I went to Copley on Sunday Aug. 10th…my son was sick and we didn’t know the problem. Dr. Nigro was there, him and the nurses were amazing and helped us out as much as they could. We did have to take him to Fletcher Allen by ambulance, …
ER for the flu 4/17/15. Was refused any prescription to ease the coughing even though I wasn’t sleeping and had broken a rib from coughing.
I did get a chest xray for pneumonia even though I’d had a pneumonia …
1. I visited the E.R in 2015 late at night. They were unable to ultrasound my Gall bladder because they didnt have anyone. So I paid the E.R. co pay Wound up going to another DR. and found out that my Gall bladder needed to come out…2018 …
I wish I could put 0 stars for this hospital. Two nurses told my friend who was taken in by an ambulance that she was pathetic and she needs to “stop playing the pathetic game”. Absolutely unacceptable to treat a patient like that when she …
This hospital almost got my 2 1/2 year old daughter killed! They refused to listen to me, I knew something was seriously wrong with her… Three times I had to go back because of her breathing. On the third time when they saw how lethargic …
I was seen in the ER while on vacation during the summer. I was very ill and was admitted to stabilize my condition so that I could return home to my local hospital. The care I received while in the ER and as an inpatient was excellent. The staff was very kind and I was treated quite appropriately.
Excellent care every step of my total knee replacement. Staff are positive, kind, compassionate. Wonderfully knowledgeable and skilled. Good education and communication. Very pleasant experience for me. Thank you to all who cared for me. Grateful for the wonderful care.
I went to copley to get blood work done. thats it. I showed up, they take my insurance at the emergency care desk and told me to go to the lab and informed me that the phlebotomist was already there. He wasn’t lol. Sat around for about 30 …
I went to Copley after a ski accident …… it was the only place around. I am there for a total of 15 mins, they give me an xray for my knee to ensure it wasn’t broken (which I already knew it wasn’t, it was obviously a ligament issue ). …
I was on time for my appointment. Unfortunately the physician was an hour-and-a-half late. No one bothered to tell us it would be late, how long it might be, nothing. Not even sorry when the nursing staff finally came to get me. When I …
During a visit to the ER, Nurse Practitioner Emily LeVan didn’t tell me of abnormal blood and CT scan results. I found out the following day when I logged into the patient portal and found CRP and WBC were both HIGH, and the CT scan found …
Great ER staff and doctors. While this is not where you plan on spending your vacation, we had a mishap and ended up in the ER for several hours. The staff was polite, helpful, and informative. The doctor was on top of treatment, explained the care options, and spent time with us to understand what was happening and what the plan was.
I brought my daughter in around 3AM with a fever of 104 when we left the house this was 1.5 hours after I gave her Motrin and about a 1/2 hour after a cool bath. I get her there Triage comes out fever of 105. The nurses on that shift were …
The emergency room doctors were through, diligent and caring. Once admitted I had wonderful care. Very professional staff who responded almost immediately whenever I needed anything. I truly felt like I was an important patient. Can’t say enough good things about them.
My father recently got a colonoscopy procedure done here. After the procedure, he was continuously bleeding so they went in to stitch him up. On his first visit in the er they handled taking his blood very rough. The following day, we …
Most incompetent bunch of doctors and nurses of any hospital I’ve been to in the entirety of the state of Vermont. Don’t get me wrong, there are good ones, but in my experience going to the ER there, Copley is by far the worst. Doctors and …
Waited 4 hours after fasting for CT scan. Guess the girls forgot I was there. Totally unacceptable to put someone through that! Don’t plan on ever returning rather drive 2 hours in snow storm to DH in Lebanon. Docs seem great but even the registration is messed up
Dr. Aros and everyone at Mansfield Orthopaedics are terrific. They are supported by the small professional team of doctors and nurses at Copley Hospital. My knee replacement was an excellent experience and now my wife is going to have the same experience. We give them 5 stars and a big thank you!
My husband rode a motorcycle today….
On January 8th, he broke his tibia and fibula skiing and needed surgery at your hospital. I thought that one of the only positives to come out of this, was that …
Really bad service and unprofessional Crews. The nurses and doctors were impatient, the X-ray technician was weird by asking “where are you from?” after asking “where do you live?” While my family was on the way to the hospital to pick me …
On 6/21/2021 I went to the ER in the middle of the night with severe abdominal pain.. I wound up needing an emergency bowel resection, and spending 5 days in the hospital. I received excellent care from Dr Patrick H. ER doctor, and all …
Wow. Just finished sitting with my son through surgery to reattach a torn ligament in his thumb (skiing injury). Dr. McLaughlin, nurse Julie, nurse Brian and every staff member I encountered along the way was super professional, attentive, …
Worst hospital I have ever been to. Took my daughter there today for shaking, stomach ache, weakness, dizziness. First of all, the asked me if she was “developmentally delayed” or if she had any mental disorders. This was completely …
My daughter went there and has been sitting there for almost 3 hrs without anyone seeing her. I understand it’s a busy place but it’s an easy fix . All it would is take 10 minutes of thier time. One of the worst ers in Vermont……
How are u guys even certified to be doctors. I go in at 8:40pm this friday after my fever spiked 103 and i passed out. They didn’t run a single test took my vitals didn’t give me any information. Came in an hour after telling me they’d give …
The experience at radiology was very good. Registration upon entering the hospital was very backed up and slow as they are short staffed in that area. Recommend you arrive at least 35 minutes before your scheduled appt time.
Amazing care! ER docs and nurses were very caring, explained everything, went above and beyond. Even gave me a cell number in case I had issues after being discharged. I live in Florida and I assure you that would never happen!
Copley staff are awesome. Every person I’ve encountered over the last year for 3 surgeries has been so kind, compassionate and attentive. It’s an awesome hospital because the staff are all incredibly awesome! Special shout out to Angela in …

I was born here!!!!
The very best!
Unprofessional as far as doctors go
Horrible experience and I’m professional doctors
I like it because you can go when YOU ARE sick
All they do is use the Google and they still get the diagnosis wrong
Not bad, not great.
Super staff. Great with seniors, esp. We are lucky to have youhere.
Efficient and competent Imaging Diagnostics, experienced both through the ER and planned appointments
Dr. Gagnon and every single one of ththe emergency room staff and X-ray staff were professional, caring and medically excellent.
Dr. Macy and all the medical staff were wonderful when I needed surgery for my shoulder. Best experience at a hospital.
I had a full knee replacement. The Staff was excellent. Nurses, were responsive and polite. Very positive experience!
Went to this hospital for the First time with Really Bad Anxiety and the Doctor told me there was no treatment for that…? He made me feel like i was a drug addict just for asking for help. Never will go back to this Hospital!
I was born here and spent 3/4th of my childhood in this area, Copley is one of the best hospitals I can remember.
Clearly just another “hospital” that cares more about it’s money than it’s patients. …
