  6. Terrible credit union. After years of being a member they started draining my savings account with a monthly fee. Don’t waste your time at this joke of a financial institution. Go support any international chain at least you know they won’t care.

  8. Dont open an account with these people, it’s sad to say how they have gone down hill with all aspects of banking. I have banked with them for approximately 20 years. I call on and I stead of talking to a person like it used to be it’s on hold for 10 to 15 minutes each time I call in. I am closing my account and going back to a bank.

  10. Amber is very helpful, but this place NEVER answers their phone when you need to reach them. This is not a convenient place to bank. They also have ridiculous charges/fees for simple transactions such as making payments over the phone.

I have called so many times about it and they keep telling me either it’s not their problem or because we have a PayPal account that there’s nothing they can do them they hang up on me.   12. DO NOT BANK HERE!!! Rude, unprofessional, and a slew of issues with charging my account money I don’t owe. Charged me an overdraft fee before my account even overdrafted and ordered my transactions so I’d have more overdrafts when I went over. Costed me $75 when it should’ve been $40.

  13. Easily the most frustrating bank I’ve ever had to deal with. Nothing is easily accomplished. Every dealing is labor intensive and drawn out. I paid off my loan two years early just to get them out of my life.

  16. Worse than a large bank. No matter what you want to do it’s always a hassle, especially things that are supposed to be easy like mobile deposit. Customer-facing staff are pleasant and the manager in Frisco is on top of it.

  18. I have to disagree with other reviews. I’ve had an account with RUofR for almost 20 years (opened when I was 16) and they have always been responsive and kind. The online banking is great, and you can have multiple savings easily to make financial goals. Also, they have a stellar interest rate for savings.
