Delaware Electric Cooperative will offer a one-time $200 billing credit and an additional $5 monthly billing credit during the summer for EV owners who do not use their EV chargers during Beat the Peak alerts. To receive the credit, you must have a ChargePoint Home electric vehicle charger that is connected to WIFI. Members will need to download the ChargePoint app to sign up for this important program. Once you sign up, a signal will be sent to your charger that will regulate the flow of power during Beat the Peak alerts, saving all members money.

  1. I have accounts with four different electric companies and DEC is the best. We have had an account for 31 years and they are the fastest to get power back up during a storm or other outage which we haven’t really experienced. The prices are the lowest and we get money back!

  19. The billing system they use is straight out of 1950… No flexibility to accommodate due dates for fixed income users… Seniors must juggle accumulating pass due fees that DEC refuses to reverse.
