Durham Nephrology specializes in caring for people with kidney diseases and high blood pressure. Our medical group has been devoted to the welfare of patients for more than 25 years. Continuous high quality health care is our goal. We have offices in both Durham and Oxford and also staff a Kidney clinic at Lincoln Community Center. We treat people with a variety of dialysis needs at six dialysis centers located throughout Durham and Granville counties.

Everyone at this office is very friendly and helpful. They answer all questions. Dr. Bonakdar is thorough and explains all test results. He even contacts other doctors to follow up on possible concerns.
If you’re like me ,getting older or more forgetful, you’ll really appreciate this calm and helpful place. The doctors and staff all are very helpful and definitely know what they’re doing. I’m very glad my doctor is part of what makes it special.

My needs are always addressed & questions answered. Great doctor & great staff. They are very on point especially since Covid 19 started.
Great customer service, an experienced phlebotomists (only one stick). There is hardly no wait time for you to be seen. The nurses are friendly and the physician takes the time to explain everything that’s going on with you and makes you feel at ease.
The doctor was attentive and patient when listening to my concerns. He seem aware of my apprehension about my appointment and made be at ease with his video presentation. Great visit!

The staff was nice ,polite and courteous. I was seen by the nurse (phlebotomist) within minutes after checking in. My visit 2 days later was also done within a few minutes after being called and vital signs obtained. The doctor was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and gave me some situations for me to try.
Dr Bonakdar take time to talk to you like a person. Never seems rushed or in a hurry. He explains in detail & in terms you can understand. I enjoy my visits.

Wonderful. From the ladies at check in and check out, to the nurses, to the doctor; everyone was nice and friendly and knowledgeable. My doctor took all the time needed to listen to me, answer any questions, and never made me feel hurried. I was even seen earlier than my appointment time!
