Super nice!!
Expensive
Extremely expensive to start new accounts.
Extremely strict on due dates.
Extremely expensive to live under. …
Power grid is fairly fragile. Power outage even as I speak. Also the emergency number never works.
Considering the outlandish price tag for deposits it seems like they could afford to work with people who might struggle once or twice on a monthly bill. However I do understand the way business works and I’m fully aware that its a dog eat dog world.
Will disconnect you immediately if you go below your balance on prepaid will not give you until the end of the day on a work day they close at 5. Which is ridiculous. Will not be understanding period. Does not care about the community nor do they care if there is pandemic going on and there is a lack of work. Garbage on their part.
I’ve lived in several different states and Dyersburg electric is the most greedy, impatient and does not pay interest on the large down payment to start service.
Cold front? Rate increase. Heat wave? Rate increase. Any time there’s inclement weather, you can count on DES to be there for you…and your wallet.
