Worst company in Eastern NC…high rates. If you enjoy over paying for water, this is your company. Horrible service, horrible rates, they suck at billing and customer service.
Had a tree come down on my house so thing were extremely tight so I called and the lady said I would be all set until next Friday, well it’s only Tuesday and they just turned the water off. When I called she said “Oh i never said that.” BS, because when I talked to the meter guy the same day, he said the same thing!
One of the worst public utility companies I have ever dealt with. Treats customers poorly, very limited bill paying options, and has a monopoly on the local market. This area could really use some strong competition from better businesses.

The staff is always polite but their billing system is 30 years out of date. They also bill you months in advance for service. Setting up automatic billing is difficult– almost like they are setting people up to miss one payment so they can charge a huge reconnect fee.
