Very unprofessional over the phone, almost as if you are troubling them just by calling in. This a paid service and should have the customer service to match.
Waited over a YEAR to get a water meter moved … had to pay them $550.00 in advance plus paid $3500.00 for new water line that is now useless … sent them maps, directions, even pictures where to place the new meter … They never did the work … decided to request my money back 3 weeks ago … Still don’t have my money …
Omg paid the water just to get it off a hour later this terrible service now this makes me miss Tennesse American Water have to wait to the man come back from lunch this is ridiculous I need to get ready for work😡😡😡😡 …
Some of the most inconsiderate people I’ve spoken with. I was FORCED to pay 175 within one week because of their mistake and they wouldn’t refund any of my money. I wish I lives in city limits!!
Rude, terrible customer service. These people are truly nasty. And their systems are antiquated in comparison with others in the area. I wish we had another option in East Brainerd.
I spoke to two different ladies at this office and both were extremely rude. By far the worst customer service I have ever received and extremely disappointing.
I had a higher than normal bill. Lady at Eastside Utility kindly explained to me what could be causing it and showed me how properly read the meter and calculate the water usage.
Impressively easy time making a switch in billing over the phone, customer service rep was courteous and helpful. Took care of everything in less than 5 minutes. Thanks!
I was experiencing a higher than normal bill. The lady in the office was very courteous and informative. I did what she said and called back and was told I could borrow a leak detector. Good people.
Called “customer service” and when the idiot answered the phone, I was like, “Hello?” She didn’t even sound human, long awkward pauses where I thought the line was dead, but it wasn’t. An absolute nightmare to communicate with, I can’t believe they would hire someone to answer the phone like that. Who are these people?!
They are really hateful if if you complain. Really helpful if no complaints. Dont know how public servants get that way, think drivers license office. Tag renewal can be that way also. Starts with management.
A joke of a company…….brown water and you can’t even report it except during business hours. Does not even have an emergency number. Should not be allowed to operate without emergency service to determine if the water is safe. I drink …
The customer service reps at East Side Utility genuinely surprised me at how rude people can be when you are paying them for their service. This is a classic example of a lack of options. Where we live, they are the water company. Their …
I called to ask about a substantial difference in our water bill. I spoke with a Customer Service Rep and with a supervisor. Both ladies were polite and professional and answered my question to the best of their ability based on the information they have. I appreciated the service I received.
Get home from work. No water. I check my app to see if I owe anything. It shows a 0.00 balance. Can someone explain why my water is shut off. I call the plant. They can turn it back on for 150.00 in cash or check. But I don’t owe anything, …
Water Outage- no timeline to fix, no courtesy email or text of any kind. When I called the office, the same voice from a McDonald’s drive thru says “hold please” without ever saying another word. After a 5 minute hold, I tell them the issue and they act as if I should have known and dismiss me very quickly.
They’re rude…and I’m from NY. They don’t even say hello. Once I had to make sure I didn’t call a residence the way the person answered. These women seem to hate their jobs. Oh yeah, the customer service number is a fax machine.
Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. There’s only 1 person there who has been very nice to us in 12 years of service. Most of the women there should be fired for their rude demeanor whether in person or over the phone. We plan to report the one we spoke to today. Such a shame we don’t have another option for water service.
I’d give them 0 stars if that was an option. We have lived in their service area and lose water atleast 1 time a month due to a “busted water main” every time. You call and only get a busy signal. There needs to be an automated phone call, …
I am having an on going issue with a major water leak. After feeling confused & frustrated, I visited the office trying to get answers to my questions. I greatly appreciate the office manager & Emily treating me like a valued customer! …
I wish the customer service representative, Emily, would answer the phone professionally. I should not have to prompt the person answering the phone to ask me “how may I help you” or even say “thank you, have a nice day, goodbye”. All I …
Emily in Customer Service has been very helpful when we had a couple of issues regarding our meter reading. She was professional, polite, and quick to follow up.
We have had a couple of meter problems over the past 9 years. Customer service has been unfailingly polite, fast, responsive, and helpful. I don’t know what more could be asked for. They’ve been terrifc.
This business has the most difficult payment method I have found anywhere on the internet. One would think that in this day and age that technology would be available to make the bill payment easy. Could someone please direct the management …
You guys should really consider making the over the phone automatic payments longer. 5 minutes on the phone that could take under a minute in other companies is not enough. Maybe make us listen to a recording of ten pages of Websters dictionary before allowing us to make a selection.
Would rate a 0 star if there was an option. By far the worst water company I have ever dealt with. Employees don’t know what they are doing and the customer has to jump through hoops. If I could use a different company I would there service is a joke.
They turned our water off without warning, hung up on us when we called to ask why, charged us $65 to turn it back on, lied to us that we would get our $65 back after they could confirm our account was in good standing, and were rude and …
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I have been a customer for 3 years. Within the first 4 months of service, there was an apparent water leak when we were at work and they needed to access the lines under my driveway. Which they did, and …

Rude customer service.
Ugh.
Total pain in the ass to get water turned on!!!!!!
2 outages in less than a month.
They offer online payments.
It should not take 7 minutes to make a payment
By far the rudest women you’ll ever have the displeasure of dealing with.
They are a joke!
I wish there was another way to get water i would do it. Worse water campay ever
These guys make the DMV look like a privately owned company
I am very satisfied with the quality of the water and with the reasonable monthly cost.
When people really don’t care about customer service because the state pays them anyway… Yeah that’s these guys

Horrible customer service, zero communication, terrible service, uneducated workers, and the list could go on. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
My ice cup melted and there was dirt and black particles where floating at the bottom…be safe
I have been an Eastside customer for years and they have always been friendly and helpful whenever I have had any questions or issues.
Been with them for 3 years not once have i had a problem. water is clear not discolored.

Don’t appreciate the lack of warning before disconnecting the water when we thought we’ve been paying.
