The rates of electricity and gas and Connecticut have been raised ridiculously and this agency is doing nothing to stop that. I try to form a formal complaint but no response on the telephone line which is really unfortunate.

I called to complain about not being able to get through to a utility on the phone. I waited on hold for 21 minutes for Ct. Public Utility Authority and finally hung up. What a mess. It’s 2017 and none of these people can provide just basic customer service.

Had a problem with CNG (predictably) where they sent all mailing correspondence to the wrong address and then shut our heat off without telling us. I submitted the claim form and in less than an hour I had PURA calling me and then CNG was out in another hour after that. Actually felt like my tax dollars worked here.
