Evergreen Health Reviews ( 250 )

  1. Eevergreen health overcharge my visit and lack of a reasonable explanation: I was told “everyone is charged for this fee” and “I am just an employee” without a good reasoning.

  5. Nice place with nice people….Check-in was speedy, the Emergency Room was clean and actually smelled fresh, back in the back room I was treated well, as for the High Blood pressure well that’s too many lattes for you.

  6. My Dad is currently at this hospital. I’m not impressed with how long it’s taking for testing, results and service. If you all can’t figure out what’s going on with him or at least get a test going to find out, I would be more than happy to take him out of there. Been in the medical field for 13 years and you guys are sllooow.

  7. Awful service! Was admitted for depression and had wait eight hours to see social worker. One social worker to see many patients.Said they were busy,No excuse.Would not get back to me when I asked how much longer.Get it together evergreen.

  8. I called this morning to ask if I should take more medication for my symptoms and the RN that answered the phone was so bubbly and her smile came through the telephone. Thank you Jennifer for a great call back.

  9. Doctors and staff are amazing, and I could easily give them all five stars.
Their billing department, on the other hand, Just a bunch of morons that don’t know their duties and responsibilities.

  10. I am about to have my third child at Evergreen and the care is the best. I also love the ER staff and attention they give. Highly recommend this hospital!

  11. Best hospital on the Eastside and better than the majority in Seattle. From ER, to rooms, to staff–all are modern and provide exemplary service.

  12. All the nurses here are very nice and friendly! GREAT SERVICE!!
Special thanks to MARY, DAWDA, and other nurses, who took great care of my grandma!

  13. Very efficient, attentive, empathetic, and professional staff at the ER. Not that anyone should wish to end up at the ER, taking my son there was a very positive experience. Thank you!

  14. Terrible place…was administered an overdose of dilaudid in the recovery room that led to a cardio respiratory arrest and seve heart problems, which the doctors denied and refused me care for. Seven heart procedure later, I am still struggling.

  15. Don’t ever go there for any cardiac issues! They will think you’re faking it. They don’t assess you or care. The ER nursing staff are rude and confrontational. Will never go back.

  16. Being elderly, I have been to the Evergreen Hospital and medical clinics several time times. I have always received excellent care. I am very impressed with their high level of care and professionalism.

  17. This place is not a hospital, it’s a business. They put profit ahead of the welfare of their patients. Cold, unresponsive, and full of disinformation. Don’t be fooled by their fancy new campus. They built this place with blood money – literally.

  18. Terrible terrible place to go!! Spent the last 10 hours here and they treated my family like ****! Avoid this place at all cost! Poor service and lack of care! No care for the patient. Unless you want to waste time and money! We waited …

  19. Been rolling around on the lobby floor for almost 3hrs now. Some kind of back issue. I have had a sciatic nerve thing come up a couple times. I assume that’s what it is again. Hopefully not a kidney issue. If I ever get seen I’ll let ya know what I think.

  20. Absolute worst doctor I’ve ever visited. Felt like I was visiting a robot. Incompetent and the charges are ridiculous for blood work. After two visits I came out nearly $1000 short and they couldn’t diagnose my problem. Stay away if you want a decent physician.

  21. Having lived in Woodinville and now Kirkland for more than 30 years, Evergreen Hospital has been a fixture in my life. Each of my three children was born at EGH, members of my family have been employees of EGH, and when I was an EMT with …

  22. Tricked me into going to the ER when it was blatant that I just wanted to get a walk-in appointment. They were extremely quick to send me in and give me a single shot just to charge me a massive ER bill. Then they gave me extreme attitude about it afterwards. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!

  23. If you want good care DO NOT go here- the nurses are rated some of the worst in the state (I’d say based on my personal experience the country) – they are careless and could care less about you- Avoid at all cost- …

  24. Wait time is a killer at the urgent care, we just spent 2+ hours waiting for a room while my wife was in pain in the waiting room, after being referred from primary care. We walked past a ton of open rooms on our way over and they kept us waiting in chairs with tailbone pain when she needed to lie down.

  25. If in an emergency do not come here. Was having an allergic reaction and was told to wait and was not helped in over an hour. My throat was closing my chest was hurting and my body was tingling and no one would help. I tried informing them and they did nothing. Horrible service.

  26. I am grateful with all medical stuff at Evergreen Hospital because of the attention, care, and kindness that they showed to my Daughter when she was having my first granddaughter, Thank you so much!

  27. Dr Santoro is an amazing Orthopedic surgeon. My wife researched many knee replacement doctors and thankfully found Dr Santoro. His bedside manor is incredible. She had zero complications and the recovery went smoothly.

  29. Unbelievable!!! I came like a patient. First they try to not give me a help by sending me to urgent care second one nurse got a call while other one trying to get my information that nurse was laughing on the phone so loud. I never was that disrespectful!!!

  30. Exceptional staff, beautiful facility, and the kindest and most caring providers you could ask for. Their NICU saved my baby’s life and I am forever grateful for the care we received here.

  31. Was sent in on Dr. Orders and the doctor was so rude. I was having breathing issues do to asthma. And he did not even want too here me and my concern. My husband stood for my treatment and the doc tried to ignore us.

  32. I have (unfortunately!) been to this hospital on a few occasions for myself, friends and family. The staff here is easily one of the best I have ever encountered and worked with. Friendly, personable, fun, and connects with you. I definitely recommend them.

  36. The efficiency is lower than ever. 🙁 I‘ve waited for 2 hours until I had a room. And waited for more than 1 hour for the final work, like pulling the needle out etc, so my hospital time was from 9:30 PM all the way to 4:00 AM. It’s around six and half hours for a vomit. 🙁 But the equipment is good.

  42. I really like this Hospital . The 24 hour nurses hotline is really convenient and they’re always really courteous. I find it completely ridiculous people are complaining about wait times in the emergency room. . . . When it’s a hospital and you’re not a princess .! The world doesn’t revolve around you. You have to wait your turn.

  65. Don’t go here! The nurses do not do their job. They will take you off of a drip that was given by a doctor because they don’t read charts. They do not know how to work or maintain an IV. They do not check in on their patients. They have …

  136. I used to work at the hospital before they remodeled the Emergency Room. It was great service and people were seen much faster. The on call nurse sent me to the ER at the beginning of this month (August 2021). She wanted to call 911 to …

  137. Worst place ever I went to check in and told them that I have pain in my lungs when I breath or stand or do anything, they told me to wait for 8 hours in the lobby and no one even decided to help me when I was in pain. All the nurse and attendants were just talking and using their phones while I was in pain

  138. I have contacted the hospital MULTIPLE times over the course of several hours to get an update on my MIL, and every single time I immediately get “please hole while we connect you to the next available staff member” on a rapid loop, before the line gets disconnected.

  139. I’ve had both of my children here and an appendectomy. The doctors and staff are always amazing. Although with covid, it delayed my induction a few days, everything went smoothly. They treated my son in the NICU and made sure he was ready to go home. Thank you for your service!

  140. I went in for care for numerous things that were going wrong, and instead of running tests or doing X-rays to try to figure out the problem, I was given pain meds, told to see a specialist and was discharged. No help what so ever as to why …

  141. I was hospitalized with Pneumonia for 10 days and I can not say enough good things.
I felt cared for by the staff and was treated exceptionally by my Doctor’s. …

  142. ER nurse assaulted me when I came in with a kidney stone. She shoved me and told me to be quiet and then told me to speak up while I was crying in pain with a barf bag over my mouth. Filed a report with the police and having to go down …

  143. This is the most poorly designed building I’ve ever had to enter. And no one knows where to send you. Very confusing. Directions are very poorly posted. The color coded system is more confusing than it’s worth.

  144. Worse ER in puget sound, unfriendly staff, specially Robin at the front desk ER who was acting more like he wanted to hurt me instead of helping me, his attitude was condescending towards people with different ethnic backgrounds and …

  145. One of the worst gyn hospitals . Did not have a good experience from the beginning. The front desk always takes a long time to attend the patients at the tan building . Showed up to the appointment at 12:05 pm . None was at the front desk . …

  146. We have a wonderful experience delivering a baby at this hospital. All the staff went above and beyond during our stay and the OB’s are the best in the area. Definitely recommend here over what we’ve heard from friends about Overlook or on the Seattle side.

  147. The folks in the ICU saved my life. From the paramedics to the doctors to the nursing staff…everyone was professional, personable, and took excellent care of me. i would have died without their quick, expert intervention. Thank you for saving my life, and for putting up with me even when…especially when I was difficult.

  148. Hospital staff and care was amazing. Billing department has truly been a nightmare. If there were no stars option I would still give 1 star because the actual care was amazing. It’s sad that the billing department has been such a hassle …

  149. Love this hospital and it’s staff. Everyone is so personable and kind, and they are so efficient and organized. The hospital is clean, easily navigable, and will be even more beautiful when it’s renovations are done. Our entire extended …

  150. Waiting on the phone for over 40 minutes now for an appointment, but nobody picks up. Of late, they are always like this, impossible to reach a human. Guess they think their customers’ time has no value. Oh, they got a call back feature that I tried once in the past, but nobody ever called.

  151. hospitalization on floor 5 (step down cardiac/neuro) was a wonderful experience with competency in care, and compassion. i highly recommend this floor for care, and would like to recognize jazz, and another nurse who worked with jazz (eva?) …

  154. This place was horrible. Do not let your kid or anyone for that matter in this hospital. 0 stars if I could. They don’t show it in the photos of course but the first floor has two rooms that I know of where they treat you horribly. …

  155. I can’t even begin to describe how exceptional the staff was. I came in with so much pain and they were swift and took exceptional care of me my entire visit. I’ve been to other hospitals and I can tell you non of them even compare to the level of care given at EvergreenHealth. Thank you all so much for taking exceptional care of me.

  156. Tried calling their billing phone number multiple times to be greeted with no response or unreasonable wait times. Left a voicemail and no call back either. My insurance claim was denied because they sent insufficient data to the insurance …

  157. The Hospital is fine, but they have the very worst billing department! They DON’T work with your insurance company and we always end up paying way more than our annual co-insurance limit! And the surprise bills! I took my daughter in to …

  158. Well Im no expert at reviewing hospitals but I have to say I don’t think it gets better than this. I was seen promptly after coming in around midnight because of a sharp pain in my gut(appendicitis). Every Doctor, nurse, and assistant I …

  159. Never go here. It is impossible to get hold of someone on the phone. After doing my labwork, I am waiting for a week to get a response from my provider. I have been trying to contact them everyday. Just spending hours waiting on the phone. Hate switching from Kaiser.

  160. Thx to all the ER staff and the staff on Silver 8th floor. You all took great care of my mother for 5 days and made her very comfortable there. And as a visitor, you all also made sure I had what I needed. Hug love to you all!!!!!

  161. If no stars were an option, I would have chosen that. My hospital stay when I was having my baby was fine, 6 months later I have not gotten one single bill. I’ve called endlessly to get a statement of what is owed on my account with no one …

  162. 11/16/2022 between 8:30-11:30am I had my 3hr diabetic test in Labcorp. Came out and my car was scratched. I called the security dept to check on surveillance camera and they have none, they hold no responsibility. Not a safe place to be in if something were to happen to me.

  163. If you need to go to an ER please go somewhere else. There were people waiting 9+ hours with serious conditions waiting to be helped. People convulsing on the floor in pain and one of the workers said that they had ambulances backed up …

  164. I went for a annual. The day I made the appointment they were in- network. Then I received a bill. Apparently they were not in- network. When I checked in it would have been nice to know this. Now I have to pay out of pocket. BAIT and SWITCH. Run!

  165. Unfortunately the policies and procedures in the NICU are far behind the research of what is best for a premature baby. Instead of trusting our team to provide the best care I had to fight every step of the way for everything from delayed cord clamping and skin to skin to nursing.

  166. Been with Dr. Anderson for over twenty years. He is an excellent doctor, however my ability to contact a human or get help has gone the hell in a handbasket. Been needing refill on non-narcotic script for nausea. This medicine helps keep me …

  167. Horrible. I did not want to go to ER but my Dr’s office insisted due to the fact I was peeing blood. I had gotten sick while in visiting Mexico (year old trip planned while I WAS employed) & among other things they prescribed injectable …

  168. This is my preferred hospital. I have unfortunately needed emergent care often in my life and Evergreen is my favorite hospital to go to. I know I am getting some of the best care when I go here for help. The ER may have a long wait time but that is true to every ER.

  169. My father came in after having 3 seizures and was then admitted into the hospital. Initially we had great service, but after they gave him medication (under the pretense he had withdrawals from a benzodiazepine) was discharged. During …

  170. Terrible customer service and worst billing department, they have no patience and forward your personal details to third party for collection if your insurance missed paying. I had my baby here but now I am never going to be back here. Doctor Cook was the only good thing at this hospital.

  171. My father died at the hospital 07/24/22. I am in my 20s, I was alone and his death was unexpected. This was a very hard time for me. I pressed the nurse call button because I believed he had passed away. A CNA came in, I told her that I …

  179. Nothing but a wonderful experience at Evergreen! We started working with maternal fetal medicine department at week 20 of our pregnancy – all their staff was great, but Dr Wall was an absolute star for us. He has an incredible ability to …

  180. Incompetent billing office! For 6 months now, Evergreen has been unable to understand how to deal with my out-of-state insurance. I thought that after a long conversation yesterday, they had finally understood how to bill my insurance. …

  181. Was there in PCU for multiple days. Received great care and was treated very good. All my care team were great. But I’d single Ody out for outstanding care. He was such a good soul. Very welcoming young man.

  182. Emergency room was very busy but staff was very efficient and friendly and the nurses and doctor were amazing. They took great care of my son who was injured at work during an armed robbery. We are blessed to have them close by.

  183. Evergreen Health continues to amaze me with great doctors, and staff.
However, the visiting policy, and accompanying policy with loved ones is a joke. My wife has been dealing with a medical crisis for sometime, and recently we …

  184. I received a knee replacement late 2019 from a physician at the spine and sports medicine clinic. Because of the start of the Covid epidemic they cancelled my physical therapy early before complete rehab. My knee has been in pain since then …

  185. Went in to ER with high blood pressure. And was eventually admitted in. Can’t say more about the staff in ICU. Especially RN Darryl and Janette. Super friendly and kept my hopes up while I was going through the rough patch. …

  186. Nurses and doctors here are cold and callous. It’s as if they don’t want to be bothered by your sick loved one. I feel the bare minimum is done, nothing more and less than expected. They just want you to hurry up and make final …

  187. Staff is friendly. Facilities are clean. But this is twice now they’ve failed at their basic duty of being a hospital. I spent ten hours there yesterday, looking for answers about my sudden-onset week-long abdominal pain and constant …

  188. Go anywhere else. Seriously worth it, I only went because it was close. I’m a type one diabetic that was experiencing horrific pain in my back area. Throwing up, and shivering. Turns out it was a bladder/kidney infection but what was …

  189. Was sent to the ER for a laceration to my hand and was told I HAD to be here to see a hand specialist to check on my hand. After waiting 7 hours (which I understand being busy as an ER) no hand specialist ever showed up and all they did was …

  190. Terrible customer service, especially in medical records. They make it impossible to get records sent doctor to doctor. Whether requesting by patient provider to provider or from provider directly. We requested multiple times for a serious …
