Dr. Skyler grew up in Dallas, Texas. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined our practice in 1999 and has been recognized with several awards for “Best Bedside Manner.” Dr. McCurley is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He competes in Ironman triathlons, runs ultra-marathons, and likes to spend time cooking and reading. He has four children who, he says, have taught him more about pediatrics than any book or hospital.

I can’t seem to get an answer when I call and leave a message for the doctor
I tried calling mid-day 3 different days, waited 10 min each time, no answer.
Rude staff the people who answer the phones need education on customer service.
We love this office! Our son sees Dr. Mutch – great bedside manners.
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful
Very nice staff and a clean welcoming environment.
For a being a so called Christian town all the pediatricians around her won’t accept Medicaid. Is poor folks who work for living for scraps aren’t good enough for these doctors around here
I take my four month old here and I have seen 3 of their doctors. I have had a good experience with all three and I was notified very quickly about testing results. Everyone is very nice and they have patiently answered all of my questions.
My son has been seen by Dr. Mutch at F. Read Hopkins since birth almost 9 years ago. He’s a great doctor and we’ve always had good experiences with the office.
Amazing doctors and customer service. Their knowledge and care for our child has greatly exceeded our expectations.
As far as doctors go, this place has it covered. Our kids see Dr. Gagan. She is great. I would have given it five stars if it was cleaner and updated on the inside. …
This review is long overdue. This is the pediatrician I went to as a child, usually seeing Dr Sullivan. Sullivan is the last person you should take your child to. I had to have an HIV test for a foreign visa in 2009. This guy called me and …
alright i called and asked to set up an appointment or consultation for our 1st kid due in october, currently beginning of september. and the front desk lady was abrupt and said they dont do that. To tell our doc at the hospital which …
We take our daughter here and they are amazing! Dr. Sullivan Is the absolute best takes care of us every time! The staff is friendly and make you feel right at home!
This not the first time I’ve had a nasty call back from Dr. NICHOLS. VERY NASTY when she is on call. I was asked questions when I presume to tell her in detail she cuts me off. Never seems to be concerned at all about what may be wrong. My …
We have 3 kids who all see Dr. R. Sullivan at F Read Hopkins, and we’ve seen other doctors here as well, and all of them are outstanding. My son ended up with DKA because we had no idea he was diabetic and when we got him into see the …
Kid-friendly feel, good nurses. My toddler loved the place. Exam by the doctor was very cursory. He did not tell us which vaccinations were required for school and which were just “recommended,” leading to some serious stress as my middle …
Dr. Sullivan has been both of my boys doctor since birth they are 16yrs and 4yrs old she have listened to my concerns did her best to help ease my mind.
I have loved having Dr. Sullivan as our pediatrician for our daughter since day one in the hospital. She has always been very encouraging and patient with me; especially as a new mom who used to freak out over everything. I love that they …
Absolute ridiculousness at this practice. Providers neglect to do their jobs and are rude to both children and parents alike. They talk down to just about everyone that comes in and will not listen to reason. Difficult to get in touch with …
Child friendly environment. The nurses are great. The doctors are nice but due to so many patients. Your child is not given great attention. We have had multiple missed diagnoses because of this. Walk ins are treated like an annoyance and I have personally been turned away when my child had a temp of 104.
Amy Morse is amazing. But we had moved out of the area and when we came back apparently we had a bill that went to collections that we were unaware of and they said they will never see our children again because they do not renew patient …
Compassionate care, always feel like my kids needs are taken seriously. They feel like they can talk to their Dr. About anything. Being pre teens it is very important for them to feel heard, and F Read Hopkins does well in every part.
This place is incompetent. Had my son there today because he’s had 2 non stop colds for 3 weeks. First they had 2 kids by the same name. One 5 yrs older. They get us mixed up so we had to wait longer and didn’t get to see the Dr he was …
Have had great care since my daughter’s birth with Dr McCurley. Unfortunately I’ll be looking for a new provider as they are still lying about CDC requirements/regulations and requiring the stupid cloth face masks in their office. Such …
