Florida Blue Reviews ( 76 )

  1. I was covered for most my stuff. But issue for me is apparently anything related to fatness or obesity is not covered such as bloodwork on a general health panel becausei am overweight….and only did this due to my syncope… you kidding me?!? Watch out for these guys they are 2 faces lawyers on steroids!

  2. T. Shamara was an absolute pleasure to talk with. Even though she couldn’t get my issue resolved the same day, she exhausted all efforts to try and was upfront and honest when she couldn’t. She was friendly, pleasant and caring and again—> upfront and HONEST. Promote this lady!!

  3. they always have glitch in their system, they keep sending me bills, though its covered! very bad services, and their wait time is horrible, i am totally not satisfied

  4. Avoid this company. Hours on hold with representatives in foreign countries that speak broken English. Hung up on numerous times, wasted time on hold with no resolution.

  5. I’d give 0 starso if possible. I need surgery but there is no in network doctor that practices at an in network hospital. $900 if I stay in network and $6000 out of network, yet no in network option available to me. This company is a joke, …

  6. If you have a business appointment here give yourself PLENTY of time to find where you need to be and to get parked. Lots of security and such to get through. Beautiful campus.

  7. They are nice and friendly when you sign up, but it ends there trust me. Dealing with this company has been single handedly the worst experience of my life. Too bad I can’t award you zero stars, to match your level of service.

  8. Absolutely the suckiest health insurance we’ve ever had makes us sorry we changed our residency, and we have their top tier plan. Can’t imagine what the rest of their customers face.

  9. This is suppose to be the Headquarters telephone number in Jacksonville however the number on google after you put Jacksonville gives you the member benefits line. I needed to speak to someone in HR and had no success.

  10. Worst service executives and sales team. In IT worst management. Their sites and apps are at the very worst state. I feel other companies are dumb to find the sales opportunities here and FB is surviving. If some other company comes to Florida they go out of business.

  11. Florida Blue (BCBS FL) is a disaster area of lost processes and collapsing systems. I’ve been a member of BCBS in Texas, Arkansas, Florida and Pennsylvania. Arkansas is bad, but Florida is by far the worst experience I’ve had. In one year. …

  12. My son went through the government Market Place and selected FB. He makes under the required income to get a relief credit to help offset Florida Blue insurance premium. I am helping him while on $SS. He started 2018 year with $200 …

  13. Cause my homie works there and my dad had this insurance before with no problems, if you don’t like your insurance you can always cancel and switch next year. Not Florida Blues fault that you can’t pick the right plan/provider.

  14. Jan 17: Now day 17 with no access to health insurance, no way to get my husband’s diabetic medications he is out of and have been on our 19th call in one month. We are ill and paid for this insurance. We have called Florida Blue & the …

  15. Huge campus! You can get a workout just walking from building to another. Definitely a community within itself. Several cafeterias with made to order items and I’ve been told the chicken wings on Fridays are the best!

  16. I am having a HUGE PROBLEM with Florida Blue. I was rear-ended on December 15th, 2017 and went to the ER. I was 8 months pregnant at the time. My car insurance maxed out in their payment to the hospital, so BCBS was supposed to cover the …

  17. Enjoy working at Florida Blue (GuideWell), people seem to genuinely care, there is a lot to do here and opportunities, of course depends on what you are looking for. The campus and site is a wonderful place to be, safe, enjoyable, and everything is there you need to enjoy your workday.

  18. Do not trust everything Jim Mahoney says. The information that he provides it not all accurate. He only provides enough for him to make a sale, and unfortunately some information was actually completely incorrect. Their billing department …

  19. So disappointed in FLA blue. Made one late payment and couldn’t see my doctor today bc of it. Spent two hours on the phone even after making two payments and still the hold wasn’t released. They said they wouldn’t cancel anyone during this …

  20. Unbelievably terrible! Had been a customer for YEARS, they changed their system causing auto pay to be diabled. This was while I was in the middle of a move, all they sent was a tiny postcard type letter to inform you, and by the time I …

  21. Florida Blue is a great company and one that helps so many people. They are giving and caring for each need that is asked of them and take care of everyone they can. The more I do with this company the more I begin to appreciate them. I wish nothing but the best for them.

  22. I’m pretty horrified at how a health insurance company clearly doesn’t care about HIPAA. On my last call with customer service, a woman named Sierra had kids screaming in the background and was clearly more focused on them than on my issue. …

  23. In Oct of 2016 there was some sort of computer glitch. I have spent a total of 14 hours on the phone trying to straighten out things. Each time I get a bill it is wrong and I am given a new payment amount to get my account even from …

  24. Florida Blue is rated as one of the best places to work in Jacksonville, and deservedly so. The campus is amazing. It’s a park-like setting, with the buildings surrounding a large pond. There are two cafeterias, a fitness center, a health …

  25. I attended a conference with a few hundred people at their business center. The facility is beautiful and spacious. The campus is gorgeous with plenty of space, greenery, and a few recreational areas. Parking is spread out, but surrounds …

  26. Florida Blue truly has a beautiful campus! It’s great to take a break and walk around. Nicely located down the road from the Town Center too and Tinseltown where so many restaurants and shops are. The buildings are beautiful and the …

  27. Was only here as a guest, but I have to say this campus and buildings are beautiful, modern and fun! The security officer at the gate was friendly and directed me to the building I needed, Stella, the guard inside, was very helpful and …

  28. Who gives 5 stars to their insurance company? They are beholden to their stakeholders. Means they try to maximize profits by boosting revenue and cutting expense. Ipso facto, they make it hard to get a claim processed, delay, or deny as …

  29. I am grateful that these guys continually fight to keep insurance costs high. It causes me to think twice about going to the doctor for something like a silly broken leg or minor heart attack. I’ve learned to just shake it off and keep …

  30. What a horrible experience. I called for clarification regarding a claim and I was transferred to legal, healthcare provider line, records, and the departments go on. Every representative English was extremely fragmented. I am disappointed in Florida Blue. My claim is still unresolved.

  31. They get one star for two reasons: (1) you have to give at least one start, and (2) when you call the customer help for Florida Blue Medicare, you do get a live agent at a call center in the U.S. and the agents are very courteous and …

  32. Florida Blue is an excellent place to work, both as a company in general, and on the campus. I’m in IT and highly impressed by our IT infrastructure’s security as well as the controlled access on campus. Florida Blue makes an extraordinary …
