I been on hold for over one hours and 22 minutes!!
This is the worst customer service I ever experienced !!
Horrible company
A typically indifferent public utility…
Called about a power failure. Excellent response.
Seems like representatives enjoy saying “no.” They have no interest in customer service–what happens when there is no competition,
Hate this company. Our power went out twice last week and just went out again! Absolutely ridiculous!
They were tough to get ahold of. With that said, they called me back and the customer service rep was awesome.
Waited ALL DAY 8-11 a.m. appointment window. When I called around noon I was told they don’t really honor specific appointments. When back the 2nd time to check I was told they tried but I was not home and would have to pay an after hours service charge.
Dumbest customer service known to man
What happened to what used to be a well run company here? My bill has doubled in 5 years and Management has turned it into a maximum profit making company with absolutely terrible customer Service now.
It’s sad, I just wanted an update on the natural gas leak from yesterday, April 18,2018. I would have put 0 stars if I could have. Never could get the information. Phone line prompts kept hanging up. 11 minutes just nothing. They don’t really care about US!
I’ve never had a bad experience with FPU. Being with a military family, I’ve moved and lived in a lot of different states. FPU has very reasonable rates compared to other areas I’ve lived.
Not Competitive at all ! Prepare to be nickel and dimed to death on top of being charged an average of $1.60 MORE per gallon than you can get just by picking up the phone calling anywhere else.
the worst service ever. they recently installed a new meter and my electric bill quadrupled. after they installed it the double billed me and resolving that took an act of congress as their staff (you have to go into their office since no one will answer the phone) lacks competence.
This company is unreal! Does anyone else have trouble with paying their bill with these guys?!? The website is trash and they never answer the phone. Worst service ever; they need to work on thier website.
TERRIBLE customer service. I’ve been contesting an “estimated bill” for almost a month, poor communications, broken promises, even been hung up on once. If I had another option, I would go with another company.
I have been a customer of this company for a few years in Fernandina Beach. I called them and said I wanted power turned on at my new house also in Fernandina Beach. …
Power outage in a Sunday. Tried calling THREE times and waited nearly 20 minutes each time listening to their program in monitoring propane use. No answer. No power…and my phone’s battery is almost dead. Not fun.
Wish I had options to go with another company.
Currently frustrated. When we set up our accounts we were charged approximately 1000.00 in deposits. We were never advised 1) over 60 years of age, 2) proof of ownership, 3) letter of credit would have waived a deposit. Now we’re in process of trying to retrieve these monies.
Power has went out multiple times in the past week without any significant reason as to why, how is that possible for a POWER COMPANY?
Always on hold for over an hour and they never call you back
Worst power company of anywhere I’ve ever lived. They only service Amelia Island in Nassau County and, the rest of the county pays half the electric bill we do. Power goes out about once a week,on bright sunny days. It makes no sense that …
They are the worst for customers service!!! They love to charge you a late fee and take your money for service. But if you need information about your bill, lord help you.
NEGATIVE 5 stars if possible- I feel sorry for the folks that are trapped with this power company. Some may have a great experience, but i needed a simple average of power bill for 3 addresses for a client-and stayed on hold while she …
We have been contacting them for 3 months to speak with the engineering department with absolutely zero results. The lack of customer is extremely frustrating not to mention it is now preventing our company from finishing our job. Seriously wish there were other options available.
Most expensive electric service I’ve had since living in FL, by far. It is next to impossible to reach customer service, and they appear to have an untrained monkey tasked with mailing paper bills (which is probably just a way to strong-arm …
These people have by far the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. Actually getting to a representative is near impossible in the 3 days Ive tried
Have been attempting to transfer my service for over a week. Have yet to speak to a human being. Emailed. Left voicemails. Fill out online requests. Waited in hold for more than 3 hours. Nothing. Went by the physical office and it’s closed …
Wait for an assistant was 45 minutes and I gave up. Prompt for callback engaged and received call back 2 hours later????? This is really not good service for the $$$$$ spent every month??????
Who regulates this company? This company has to be the worst company in Florida or in the U.S. for that matter. I have been trying to reach their customer service department for 5 days straight but to no avail. In two occasions, I stayed on …
If I could give a negative review, I would!! In 40 years of dealing with power companies in Florida (FPL), Arizona and Georgia, we have never experienced a more incompetent, unresponsive, unreasonable company than FPU!!! …
My bill quadrupled with no notice in only one month and when I called complain the hold was over an hour long and the main office was closed at 2:30pm on Thursday! Unacceptable!
40 minutes on hold and couldn’t wait any longer. Opted for a call back and never received it. Drove to customer service office and sign says permanently closed! …
Electricity out over 2 hours. They restored it! Their communication system needs to be updated. They have enough funds to update!
My out of town client has no power since Wednesday, has submitted all paperwork the week before. On hold for hours at a time and getting disconnected. Unbelievable!!!!
They can’t give you a window for hookup – that alone is incredibly bad service. So, took a day off work and waited, and waited… they never showed up. No call, no text. So I guess it is another day without pay waiting for them to possibly …
Possibly one of the worst companies to deal with. Their website is terrible and constantly issue out errors when trying to log in. After multiple attempts they lock you out and force you to call them to unlock. 1 hour and 15 minutes later, …
Absolutely no customer service. I stayed on the phone line for nearly an hour and all I wanted to do was find out my annual electric consumption since I’m new to the area. When I found out their offices are less than a mile from my home I …
I have been trying to get a bill for a year. I have been locked out of my account for over a year and after paying 5 months on an unknown amount I finally reached someone on the phone to find out I had 600 credit. That was in June. I told …
