This company is not great from a customer service standpoint. They don’t have auto draft payments, no reminders when you forget to make a payment. Typical of utility companies with no competition.

I don’t like this company. I pay my bills on the first week of the month. But Ft. Hill sends threatening letters if it is 2 days late. No reminders or emails, just a letter to threaten to cut off service. If there was an alternative I would take it.

Just received a call that autopay hasn’t been working since AUGUST. The problem was on THEIR end. Now my family owes them 200+ dollars in the middle of a pandemic!!! Furious!

The turn around time from Bill being mailed to being due to being late is ridiculous! Especially since they don’t accept online banking payments. I pay all my bills online and never have any issues except with this company.
Avoid the like the plauge. Nothing but liars and common thieves. The don’t send out cut notices in time and then they blame the post office while tacking on fees left and right. The should be investigated and shut down.
Rep came out to the house on a holiday weekend to take care of a gas leak that my wife and I smelled. Very knowledgeable about the business and fixed the issue in a timely manner. Greatly appreciated the explanation and fix.
Hilariously enough they won’t relight your pilot light if you don’t have a ladder for them to use.. they refuse to carry a 6 foot ladder on their truck.

I use them for my heat. Is some of the warmest heat I’ve ever had electric is freezing. They have great customer service , great ladies in billing. And it’s very convenient to pay online. I’ve never had any problems with my gas usage except it got too high last year one month when everything started going up in the economy.
