Frankfort Regional Medical Center Reviews ( 150 )

  1. From the fear of Covid-19, I had rescheduled my test. Then I purposely waited until after the 14 day waiting period after my Booster Vaccine against Covid-19 to have the test done. Everyone was very nice and courteous. However, I was very …

  2. I’ve always received excellent care at this hospital, much better than the “big” hospitals. My only complaint is after I was told I could go we waited almost an hour for someone to remove my IV and ultimately my husband had to find someone to do it. But it is after all a hospital and I’m sure there were other people to tend to.

  3. My care while at the hospital was outstanding. The nurses were both professional and personal. I felt like they really were concerned about my comfort and my medical well-being. Whether it was my care in the emergency room or my care once I was admitted, I am very impressed with the care I received during my two days in the hospital.

  4. Went to the ER and was very pleased with the service I received. RN Amanda was new but was very good. Dr Landry and orthopedic Dr Reinhardt both explained everything thoroughly and were knowledgeable, friendly and not in a rush. The xray tech too. No complaints at all from this patient

  5. I was blessed to have an amazing nurse, Melinda and nurse tech Mariah and they were not only professional but caring and kind and patient with me and the others I saw them interact with in the hall patients and coworkers alike!! Dr. Lee from UK was on his game and very sweet and he knew me before he came into my room!!

  6. I was very impressed from the moment I presented at the front door until the time I was released. The trauma team was very professional and quick to act. They communicated with me the entire time to keep me informed as to their tests and …

  8. Cannot say enough good things about the staff that processed my paperwork and performed my test. Reception staff took my temperature and asked virus related questions to ensure I was safe and so was the staff. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. And as always, the staff was courteous and helpful.

  9. I recently spent 7 days and had 3 surgeries at this hospital. They took great care of me. I never had to wait for someone to answer my call light, the food was good, the doctors kept me very informed. The ER did make a minor mistake, but …

  11. The staff is awesome. Very professional and friendly. Hanna Johnson PA-C is also knowledgeable of her specialty. Sarah is super great. She pleasant, caring, and so knowledgeable in her specialty. I love this office!!!!!

  12. Horrible experience. Waited in a room for 4hr with no one coming to check on me. Heart oximeter fell off my finger and my machines flatlined and no one came to check on me. I eventually got tired of waiting for someone to come in so I just …

  13. My third time on the 3rd floor and my 2nd cardiac procedure. I felt safe, cared for, and grateful for all staff. I feel reassured by my experience that I can utilize this hospital in the future.

  14. I took my son there last Tuesday night because he couldn’t breath. They checked his oxygen levels and said that they were fine and didn’t give him anything. Just a few covid tests and he never got the results on the 2nd one. And the …

  15. While registration was smooth and the lady was pleasant, the ultrasound tech was not very friendly. I’m not saying or expecting her to be Ms. Sunny Sunshine but some bedside manners would be nice (it’s not like the patient isn’t nervous …

  20. I am very much regretting having the ambulance take me to this hospital’ ER over St. E’s ER as I have NEVER been treated so poorly by a hospital in my life! Nurses took HOURS to come to my room, had an attitude and excuses when I called the …

  21. This hospital is the biggest disappoint in healthcare. There are a lot of wonderful nurses that work there, but I only encountered 2 while I was in the ER for 7 hours. I was sent there by my physician for my blood pressure bottoming out. I …

  34. The hospital staff did a great job. My only complaint is the bill. I think it’s unfair to those who can’t afford the whole bill to be charged more than those who can afford to to pay the full amount up front. The wealthy get a discount where the not so wealthy have to pay more. Doesn’t seem fair.

  35. I was here on January 6th for an upper scope. I had a friend to bring me. The gave him a paper and told him if he doesn’t hear from them in 2 1/2 hours to head back. I didn’t get to the procedure room until 11:50 am my appointment was at …

  53. I received excellent medical care. Your physicians, nurses and technicians were excellent…. However, being in the Covid red zone has taken its toll…. Too many patients for the available staff. They did their best, but were asked to do too …

  54. Good experience with ECCO procedure. Very courteous and efficiently administered. Had registered the previous day but still had to wait 30 minutes before a person had me sign a tablet. If I’m told to be there at 8 o’clock and have already registered, there is no excuse in a 30 minute wait.

  64. I don’t want to even give one star. My husband’s primary care doctor had called and told him to go directly to the ER for a transfusion because of dangerous low levels of iron. My husband and I waited 8.5 hours and still no transfusion. So, both of our patiences had ran out and we left.

  82. The ladies in the Mammogram department are so friendly and put the customer’s feelings and health as top priority. There just aren’t words for how well they run the department and how good they treat their patients.

  83. I waited in registration for almost two hours before I was able to go up to the 2nd floor to mammography. There was only one person working. Several were sitting in the area doing absolutely nothing. This was ridiculous.

  84. Released my daughter with her levels way out of wac. Dr said he was going to keep her for few days to get them to a safe level. Two hours later they released her and her blood results were still pending.

  85. Had a broken arm. It took over 6 hours to be seen and then another hour to be treated! Other people were waiting just as long and a few left! What if I was having a heart attack…I would have died! I sure hope these LONG waiting times drastically improves so that no one is harmed!

  86. Site said ER wait time was 10 minutes, yet it took over 5 hours just to see a doctor, waiting room was so full there wasn’t enough seats. Years ago they also let my uncle die do to their negligence. Slow and untrustworthy, you’re better off making the drive somewhere else.

  87. Doctors and nurses were excellent. However my husband was put on a floor with covid19 patients. He now has covid19. As do I. Why would a patient with a collapsed lung and a chest tube be subjected to covid19. This is rediculous. Also the hospital was very filthy.

  95. Probably as a patient you’ll be fine as they’ll provide basic care. However, working there as a black man, they’ll lie to you, they’ll make false accusations, they will racially profile you and call you the n word for sure! Angie Miller and …

  96. Frankfort regional has issues receiving faxed orders from physicians. My doctor had to send 2 sets of orders. They had to fax one 3 times and the other twice! Doctors office had confirmation of successful fax every time, but FRMC couldn’t find them. Very frustrating!

  97. Getting mammograms are not the most favorite thing that women like to do but the staff at FRMC make it very pleasant. From check-in to the actual mammogram, the staff are very kind and make an “awkward” visit more casual and less stressful.

  98. Very poor. Misdiagnosed my daughter. She had to go to the Little Clinic and they were surprised that the hospital missed her ear infection. Won’t return to this hospital ever again. We also had to wait over 3 hours.
