My ER visit was great. PT at
Georgetown Rehabilitation Services has been spectacular. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. Britany has taken great care of me.
Terrible never ever cone here
Great hospital
Easy accessibility
Consistently the worst
Excellent care and concern
Pathetic! Worse hospital in the mid-west.
Overcharged was my experience
Sorry excuse for public servants
Clean. But will tell you wrong diagnosed most of the time.
If you can make it, go anywhere else.
Wouldn’t recommend going here, just go to Lexington.
Had to be seen in the ER. Everyone was great.
Kind and knowledgeable staff
Overall a good experience.
Banded are best here go to UK for any reason
I was there yesterday .I servely throw up blood.THEY TOOK CARE OF ME RIGHT WAY.
I was seen here years ago and was well taken care of.
Clean facility!
Staff was caring and promptly took care of my needs.
Mother works here
Very friendly staff and management!
Wonderful staff in ER and support staff from the Lab and Radiology!
The hospital staff were excellent in caring for my dad!
This hospital has the best nursing staff I have ever encountered! 😀
Clean, and a wonderful staff.
The oncology team is amazing!
I was from out of town and the staff was friendly enough, and like the review from a few years ago–they won’t let you die, but don’t ask much more than that.
They were nice
To put it simply: They are incompetent and shouldn’t be allowed to operate as a hospital.
They did excellent treating my son in the midst of a chaotic flu infested emergency room.
We were there 45 minutes, their doctors did nothing but refer us to UK. And our bill was $3700.
The people working there have no idea what they are doing the attendants for the phone can’t connect calls properly nor do the ones in the Dr if sick never go here
Waiting four hours and they still haven’t checked my son two hours in the waiting room two hours in a room
SLOW AS HELL!!!!! The nurses in the er just sit at the desk laughing and talking. No one has come in our room and we have been here for a hour!!!!!
Great program. Great staff. They make you feel special!!
Would not recommend coming here. They are very rude and unprofessional and I have had nothing but issues every time I’ve interacted with them.
Waited over an hour and a half just to get paper filled out that was not done when I was seen
My brother is currently in the ER. he is prone to seizers & when i ask for an update i am referred to as “nobody”. I am concerned forhim & called a nobody, come on!!!!!
Terrible OR staff, everything was a party atmosphere and I could here rude and crude jokes and to top it off the OR Director (Kelly I think) seems to encourage this. I’ll never go back, ever again.
I could not be happier to work here. Great team work, pleasant atmosphere!
I recently had a procedure done here and it went great. The staff was great. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the procedure . I was in and out very quick.
Physical therapy is the best. They truly care
ER staff was great. Got us in quickly and the X-ray was done in under 15 minutes.
Great experience. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I would recommend to anyone!!! Keep up the great work.
your bus that comes around 12:30 doesn’t need to be parking in the middle of the road. no one can get out when they park right in front of your dang car.
This place is horrible!! The ER supervisor covers for the rest of the staff. I was totally violated while there in the ER. They have contracted physicians and nurses that treat patients in a deplorable manner. This place should be investigated!!
This place is AWFUL. Literally did not see a doctor the entire time we were at the ER. Don’t waste half of your day and just go to UK or Baptist.
Spend about 4 hours at this place. The “doctor” did not listen to pretty much anything i said… so now instead of juat paying one hospital Bill im going to go to u.k. something i should have done in the first place.problem not solved, …
This was the best hospital I’ve been to.the staff was very nice and very kind and generous. I loved their generosity and the way they care about their patients. I highly recommend this hospital
Great hospital, Drs and staff, saved my life when I drove myself there and they had 10 minutes to save my life, I had no idea but had congestive heart failure very blessed that they took care of me.
Received excellent care in the ICU at Georgetown Community Hospital.
I had my baby there Feb 10th, and I had the most comfortable and amazing experience with the ob nurses! highly recommend!
They didn’t circumcise a baby boy upon birth. How do they think Jews & Christians feel about that??!! Wait weeks nowadays??? They also made jokes and discussed the sports game during the delivery!!! Media-molded bs!!!
I was there for outpatient and staff treated me with respect and did not have long wait time.
Great hospital with full services you get at a big city hospital. Love the free parking and the ease in which you can find offices and services. Highly recommend!
Knowledgable staff, helped us with our needs
Avoid this hospital at all cost. The staff are wonderful people, but the financial services will give you the run-around like no other.
Love this small town hospital and the expertise of the staff. They have always taken care of me and my family as one of their own.
Probably one of the best Hospitals In central Kentucky and the Bluegrass area.
Wish they could call me back though 🙁
Dr. Chaffin & his colleagues & staff are A1 plus very knowledgeable judging off your symptoms…. GCH has come a long way from the long waiting periods to be seen, & stoic svc
terrible….bald ER Dr was kinda an ass. He knew my mouth was sore and went in with a tongue depressor rough to say the least. I knew what was wrong because I was on WEBMD for like a week before I visited this shithole. He was on an ego …
Worst hospital ever. Went in with abdominal nausea and hip pain. The er doctor never touched me. Nurse came in with discharge papers and that was it
I actually had my baby girl here(: as soon as i went to the ER they called the OB and got me straight back. They done an amazing job.
Currently can barely breathe, receptionist barely acknowledged my existence, like talking to a brick wall. Might pass out in the waiting room, place is way to slow
Went to the specialty clinic, Told the nurse what my “problem” was, the nurse went over to the doctor; and I heard them laugh about it… thru the door that I was sitting right outside off, If you have a choice, Never ever go here. They are only out for money! Screw this place
I went to the ER because I had trouble breathing and waited over an hour and decided to leave and go to a clinic instead. They didn’t help me with anything. An emergency room should not make a patient wait that long.
Horror stories. And when a patient’s belongings (MEDICATION and CLOTHES) are kept that’s called Theft! CHAD 6am-6pm “Admin” who when asked who his boss was his only response was “Irrelevant” He Was UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE and IGNORANT to top …
Do yourself a favor and never go here. This hospital has fallen off. Once a leader in healthcare has now become a joke within the community. Is referred to as a bandaid shop. Anyone who actually values there life knows better than to risk it here.
awful experience. Hurt my foot in a wreck. Came in they went to x ray the wrong foot, never even touched my foot. Than said I was good to be discharged but lost my discharge paperwork 😡 Been waiting an hour for them to reprint them so I can leave. Seriously so upset with the services provided. Will drive to Lexington next time. …
Do not go to this hospital. We were taken back immediately upon arrival to Er, and three hours later still received no treatment. We ended up leaving. None of the staff seemed to care at all and will never come back here. Don’t waste your time.
Horrendous. Left me without answers for my condition. Billed me nearly a month ago (which I PAID IN FULL) only for them to rebill me for an additional amount $170 for the EXACT same claim. Shady and unprofessional. It makes me wonder where …
Very pleased with the care received at Georgetown Community Hospital. Staff is courteous and professional. They make sure procedures are explained and patient is comfortable.
I delivered my first little girl here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The nursing staff and Dr. Tucker made a wonderful team. I can’t wait to deliver my future children here!
If you love you family or yourself don’t set foot in this hospital. The doctor treating you will share your personal medical treatment with others without your consent. If arrive by ambulance to this hospital at a level 10 pain. How can you …
Working for the rehab department has provided me with wonderful opportunities to grow professionally and personally.
Totally misled, now I have collections that are harming my credit score. Seven years ago, I was asking questions about chest pains and then taken to the ER. Now I have a collection for the same amount (that I’ve already paid!) that is …
Took 4 visits for them to find pneumonia, and today empty waiting room when we came in, says 24 minutes on the website, triage runs fast but dumps you back in waiting room, 2 hrs later still waiting to be seen. They have told us for past …
I was treat like a king can’t comply ever one
Was polite wheel chair me to Ex ray and back to where I started the attend was very nice Doctor and his helper very polite ☺️
Women’s Services team is fantastic team! Contientious, professional and knowledgeable!
wish I could put no stars. wish I could close this place down forever! This place almost killed my mom, botched her surgery and she went septic. My parents never sued, but suspiciously Georgetown hospital never billed them for the botched …
Posting Anonymously for my own protection.
Not a review of the quality of service, but rather the quality of their billing procedures. …
Took wonderful care of me after my surgery.
We waited over 3 hours when my wife had a bad, gushing cut on her finger that ended up requiring 6 stitches. We were changing gauze in the waiting room by ourselves and blood was dripping off her hand in the few seconds that we swapped …
I took my 21 month old here monday cause she was having a temp of 104. I went back quickly and the nurse kept repeatly doing stuff i asked her not to. Even scared me cause they said her oxygen was low and decided to do a xray when turns out …
Have brought my children to Georgetown Community Hospital many times over the years for different injuries. The physicians and staff always provide excellent care!
Had 1st and 2nd degree burns was taken back quickly and saw the p.a. Almost instantly. Travis the pa came in quickly and stayed beyond his shift to take care of me. Erma one of the RNs started my iv and was very personable. Erica another RN …
This place is unprofessional. ER dr Hartej Dhillon wouldn’t even answer my questions. I was rushed out and when I asked should I be up moving around the answer I was recieved was whatever as needed. When the nurse called me out of the …
Don’t go to the ER unless you are close to death. Even then you may want to roll the dice and make the drive to any other hospital within 50 miles. You can expect a long wait before they do ANYTHING, and you may heal naturally before they …
Was totally miss diagnosed. Save health and time like I did, go to Lexington. St. Joe thanks. They diagnosed me according to my symptoms. They said I had muscle strain when the whole time I had pneumonia. This 2.7 rating is really overrating them. I’ve been there several times and it’s a sh** show
Have had both hips replaced and both knees replaced by dr. David Waespe did you spend the night 3 days for each staff and food was good nurses were good OR nursing staff was good never had any problem out of any of them. Would recommend them to anyone
Lack of care for a family member is indescribable. We got him out of there and transferred to Lexington. Wish we would have known sooner but they would not allow visitors. Awful. The truth will be exposed.
For every good experience we’ve had here we’ve had one that was equally terrible. I would like to start out by saying that if we could see dr Paul Finley everytime we’d always come here because he is amazing and attentive and took such good …
Estimate for a cut on my daughters head that took 1 wipe to clean and a dab of glue the size of a dime was $180. Just got an adjusted bill from them for $950. Haven’t even got the bill from the physician yet. This is the 2nd time their …
Horrible Horrible! Pass this hospital and go straight to Lexington. I just had shoulder surgery on 6/21/18 by Dr. David Waespe. Had pain medication issues straight out of surgery. I was undergoing another treatment with specialized …
Terrible hospital. Girlfriend came in for surgery at 9:30am. Never brought or even offered anything for her to eat. Was hours after night shift change and nobody came to check on her. There’s only four patients in the whole wing. Worst hospital been in yet.
Went in yesterday afternoon for a preventative screening. Got into be prepped right away and was out in less then two hours. Staff was great and Dr Case is very efficient. Had kids here before too…never had any problems.
If possible, avoid this place at all cost. Terrible service, even worse billing practices. Prices are 4-5x higher than surrounding area hospitals like UK, but you wont know this as they wont tell you prices until after your service is done …
The PCP’s are pretty good but the ER sucks so bad! I tore my ACL….went there to get it checked out. They told me it was a sprain. 3 days later I’m in serious pain and I went to UK and that is when they told me I tore my ACL. I had to have …
I had a CT done here everyone from registration to radiology were so friendly and fast. I will return for all my medical care
The nurses took excellent care of my mom who suffered from Alzheimer’s. It was a great relief to know extra measures were taken for her care.
Excellent experience from triage to discharge. The nursing staff was very concerned and caring. Dr. Smith is top notch. I recommend him for anyone considering bariatric surgery. I have had perviois experience with a bariatric provider, and the experience with Dr. Smith is 10 times better, a world of daylight and dark.
Giving a one star is pushing it. My grandmother treatment and care was horrible. Waiting over an hour for someone to come take her to the bathroom is absolutely ridiculous. This happen almost everytime she called for help. I heard a nurse …
I went to the emergency room in March of 2019 for an extreme rash all over my chest. It was awful and itchy. The doctor at Georgetown a Community Hospital told me they didn’t know what it was but that maybe it could be that I was allergic …
This a great community hospital with talented and caring staff!
Didn’t have any issues with the ER but once I was given a room on the first floor it all went to hell. Nurses simply don’t care. Would not recommend this place to anyone
This hospital is a rip off! They completely OVER charge for services! They just billed my insurance company $3,700 for bloodwork only, and now I’m stuck with a $2,000 bill that they refuse to work with me on! I am beside myself! Never …
Everyone in the hospital from the door screener, clerical staff, nurses, anesthesia to physicians were kind and took very good care of my wife When she was there for a procedure. We have no complaints.
If I could give this hospital a negative star, I would. Made two different calls concerning my bill, and both women were extremely rude and even whispered “oh my god” when trying to explain where my charges were coming from. They do not want to help you. Absolutely terrible to work with.
I went in to be induced 6 weeks ago to have my little girl and the staff was amazing in the labor hall i had a awesome birthing experience at Georgetown and if i have another child i will be having it at Georgetown. Dr. Haynes is a awesome doctor and the night shift baby nurses were amazing with my daughter.
Everytime i go in to the er i always tell them BE CAREFULL WHEN LOOKING FOR A VEIN tonight was no different. I told the lady it hurt and felt uncomfortable. I couldnt move my arm for fear of causing damage. She still kept it in my arm. 15 …
I went there for nonstop vomiting. They checked several things and gave me fluids. They kept me overnight. In the middle of the night, a nurse came in to give me more phenegren (sp?). Instead of putting it in through my iv she put it in …
After a recent shoulder injury, my doctor told me I needed follow up x-rays. Since I work in Georgetown, he sent me to Georgetown Community Hospital. They took 3 x-rays and sent me a bill for $392.11! My initial x-rays were taken at …
Wonderful experience. The staff was very caring and made sure my needs were met. I was very concerned about having surgery, but was quickly put at ease with the care of the staff. Dr. Smith is concerned from the time of admission to the time of discharge. It was a very good experience
it was 12 am and urgent care was closed. My throat was hurting me to the point where i couldn’t sleep, i came in and the security guard and the people at the desk weren’t taking me seriously. When i got called back the nurse i had was very …
I’ve always recommended Georgetown hospital for kids. I had never had a bad experience until Saturday when I took my 3yr old daughter in for extream stomach pains that woke her From her sleep and the Dr came in basically said because she is …
Great staff. We felt sincerely cared for.
I can’t describe the anger I have right now. How many people in my family have to suffer before this place wakes up from its arrogance?? I just found out Georgetown Community Hospital didn’t admit my papaw when he had a severe UTI, to the …
When I had my first and only baby boy there, they was awesome. The birthing center is excellent in my opinion. That’s the only reason why I say it’s okay. For anything else, me personally wouldn’t recommend this hospital at all. Your better …
My mother went in their today because she has been having severe back pains and they did absolutely nothing about it whatsoever they just sent her home and told her she was fine. This hospital does not care about its patients at all and …
The staff needs to realize they work in a hospital where people feel ill, it’s not a happy place but they are suppose to try and make it a good experience for the patients, for some reason some staff members have negative attitudes. Also be …
Usually I am satisfied with this hospital and their staff. However on 12/9/19 that is not the case. My spouse, infant and myself came in with possible flu systems, the PA offers to treat both of us adult for the flu even tho our flu test …
Anytime I have had to have any kind of care from lab, xrays, physician appointments, Georgetown Hospital in a whole has been nothing but 5 star care.
Went to the Emergency Room at Georgetown Community Hospital. The staff and medical personnel were very attentive and responsive to my needs.
Came in for a broken toe, I’m still here and it’s been 2 hours. There is literally no excuse for this. Take the x-ray, read the x-ray, give me the results. That should take maybe, MAYBE 10 minutes. Not the mention the complete lack of bedside manner from the doctor. The only redeeming factor was a lovely nurse named Cindy.
This place is a joke. The ER is awful and so is the rest of the hospital. Everyone who lives in Georgetown knows this is the worst hospital you could go to. I’ve been sitting in the ER for 3 hours because my daughter injured her ankle. They …
The cardiac rehab team was amazingly helpful not only while I was going through the process but have also availed themselves to assist me with questions and concerns as I navigate a new normal life style after graduation.
Worst hospital ever would not send my animals there.Wife fell and hit her head and had breathing problems. Dr West gave her a shot of phenagren and then later had a smart remark. Treated us like drug addicts. Then Dr West lied and said he …
Wonderful ER experience!!! My husband was treated for a kidney stone. The staff and physicians were wonderful!!
I usually don’t leave reviews. As a matter of fact this is my first time writing one, but DO NOT have a baby at this hospital. Labor & delivery went fine! But afterwards, nobody could get ANYTHING straight with insurance, they kept calling …
My wife has had two surgeries at GCH and they were excellent both times.
Worse hospital ever! Wait in ER for four hours waiting on tests and blood work for my husband! No one coming in to tell us anything! People at the desk give my husband attitude when he asks what is taking so long on the tests! Absolutely pathetic!
The total billed for a 3-view X-ray before insurance adjustment was $870, which is almost three times the national average, and it did not even include the radiologist’s fee (which itself was actually reasonable at $38). The insurance …
Have always had a great experience at Georgetown Community Hospital with any surgeries or testing I have had done. Staff have always been kind.
I recently had an appendicitis from the time I came into the er staff was wonderful making sure I had what I needed and taking of me.
Took my daughter there last night she was running a tempature. The Dr came in and checked lungs throat and ears in 3 minutes then he left. There was no Corona check,no flu test,no strep test and what she was diagnosed with might not be …
My husband and son went in to er. my bill is 314. for my son who waiting in the er went back and doctor says I cant help him. So I called and basically you walk in you pay. I do not recommend this place at all. All we needed was his ears …
Great working relationship with our sister facility, Georgetown Community Hospital. We often refer patients to and from our facilities, especially between bariatric surgery and behavioral health patients.
I love being a part of the rehabilitation team at GCH! All of my co-workers pour into my life professionally and personally in such a positive way!
No matter how many times I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt I just can’t. The hospital ER by far is the worst I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to several in different states also. It might be a Max of 2 people in rooms in the …
They saved my life. The surgeon was the most caring and personable professional I have ever met. Her bedside manner is unquestionably the best I have ever seen. I have had multiple surgeries in the past few years at different hospitals in …
Let’s say you are dying and need to get to a hospital quick and this hospital is the closest one, skip it and drive to UK. The doctors and specialists are fine but they seem to have hired their nurses from the ninth circle of hell. Those …
Went to the ER for my kid and got a quick response however the individual taking blood from my baby had no clue what he was doing, did it all wrong and had to send out another to get more blood. The nursing staff was great but the doctor …
Editing my review because they really made things right. Just make sure you do not see dr. Chelsea Garrison in the ER.
absolutely horrible experience. we had to visit their emergency room at 12am because my friend had a sore throat and couldn’t even swallow and was in serious pain. the lady’s on the phone said they can’t give any advice over the phone and …
AVOID this place!! HORRIBLY awful unethical place!!! I’m home after 5hrs of vomiting in the hall way because they did not care and put people right in front of me into rooms. Then couldn’t even diagnose, now just vomiting with a …
Very disappointed in this hospital. When you get a customer coming in for an unbearable abscessed tooth and all you give them is Tylenol and ibuprofen and one prescription for penicillin then you need to endure the pain I am going through …
Dr Melissa Smith , hated to leave her. She makes the entire hospital worth the visit. I’ve never had such an efficient, knowledgeable organized neurologist EVER. …
My father went to this hospital (ER) each night for 4 nights nearly in a row a few months back. On the fourth visit he was told nothing is wrong , do not come back. Well when going to St Joe’s in lex we find out he has several buldging …
I hate to even give one star. I have been a patient at every hospital in lexington at one time or another, I have NEVER had a worse experience than at Georgetown Hospital. I am shocked that with the way Geoegetown has grown, they still …
Son busted his nose, was passing out here and there, he’s 2. They took an hour just to see him. Had people come in after us and go ahead of him and not a single “nurse” come in and check on him. But it takes 4 of them to check in one person. NICE service.
I was treated in the ED on 7/8/22. The entire ED team from registration to discharge were GREAT!!! Great team work and patient care!!
Was well received ,loving and caring in all departments very clean and respectful Thank you for your Great service
My experience at this hospital was absolutely wonderful, everyone I met was very nice, the place was so clean, every time they user something, they made sure they wiped it down an everyone received their own pen to sign in and fill out forms I would recommend this hospital.
The sense of community and caring at GCH is phenomenal! I was seen in the ER after being involved in a MVC leaving work and received the best care and compassion anyone could ask for.
I had a procedure and everyone from registration to the radiology department was helpful and friendly.
Worst hospital in Kentucky I would imagine. My mother-in-law was there today. They were concerned about her heart after her physical therapy. They had her there from about 3pm until 10pm. She is diabetic and in poor health. They never gave …
Emergency room is beyond slow. UK does a better job and they are larger. I have been here 2 hours with 6 people ahead me. Watching employees just stroll the back hallways is a little discerning. I just saw two more people leave. One …
GCH was so helpful to me during my last visit. The nurses were friendly and made me feel at ease. I was able to get in and out quickly. I would recommend to anyone to use this facility.
Friendly fun atmosphere it is a joy to go to pulmonary rehab. The employees are great. Lori ,Ashley, Ryan and Jessica are wonderful. I look forward to going every Tuesday and Thursday.
I had surgery at Georgetown Community Hospital and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the hospital and staff. I was treated with compassion and a very knowledgeable team.
Brought my husband to the ER on 12/24/21 due to hypoxia, known history of COVID pneumonia and his condition was clearly worsening. At home after ambulation, his o2 sat dropped to 81% taking a while to recover as well, so I wheeled him into …
This is a very friendly place to work, all of the supervisors have been so amazing since I started in February. If you are in the market for a new job I highly recommend GCH
I had a gastric sleeve procedure last week. Everyone at the hospital was excellent from the physician, anesthesiologist, nurses, aides, and technicians.
My husband was a patient for an overnight stay following surgery. The staff was professional and caring. The facility was clean and quiet. We would chose this facility again.
Came here to get ultrasounds done. Woman in front was welcoming and professional. Registration woman was probably a bit too serious about her job but made it easy to fill out paperwork. Very clean facility that was easy to navigate around. Well laid out parking lot. Not bad at all for a small hospital visit.
Great experience with my son in the ER. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
This is a great local hospital that offers many of the same services as those found in surrounding cities. The staff is committed to you, your health, and the community. I would recommend GCH to anyone!
I and my family all have had care here. It is always top notch. The providers are skilled and compassionate, and staff is friendly and attentive. The facility is always clean and well maintained.
Incredibly rude and uncaring staff. Makes you wonder why any of them bothered to go into the health care industry. They are largely unconcerned, cold and generally unprofessional. It’s filled to the brim with people who’ve no business …
I was fortunate enough to have surgery at Georgetown Community Hospital. I love the close to home advantage that this gave me as well as the “small community” feel. My experience there was great! Everyone from start to finish made me feel safe, comfortable, and well provided for. A huge Thank you goes out to all staff there!
If I could give Georgetown Community Hospital zero stars, I would. That would truly encompass my vast disapproval and disdain for this ‘hospital’. So, not only did they misdiagnose my elderly mom’s broken femur 3 years ago, recently, she …
Like most reviews people only post their negative experiences. This is a for profit business and you will be treated as a commodity. You will be kept in the ER as long as they can to increase profit. My wife was bit by a dog and didn’t …
Came for staples for my daughter after getting hit in the head by her brother. They were very fast and efficient, we were in and out in less than 1 hour! Definitely will come again.
I had a wonderful stay. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and went beyond their duties to help me. My surgeon Dr Eric Smith was awesome so were the nurses in the OR. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.
I went there to have my gall bladder removed. I must say, the experience was as pleasant as a surgery can be. The staff was very attentive, and very thorough. They explained everything before they did anyhing. They also offered a 20% discount. I was well pleased with the whole experience.
I have used this facility many times over the years and have never had a bad experience. The rooms and halls are always clean and the staff is friendly and caring. Providers are knowledgeable and professional.
This hospital has taken great care of me. They are top of all the things I’ve asked for & usually already were on their way. Great place for medical services
Avoid this place if possible. I’d give less than one star if I could. My daughter was there to get care for a possible miscarriage. After waiting for over 2 hours (when we were the only ones in the waiting room) we were sent home. No help …
Upon arriving in the emergency room I signed in with the lady behind the desk. She checked me in I was called to the back to take vitals and was told to return to waiting room they would get to me as soon as possible. I sat there from …
Worst hospital in the state easily.
Nurse who checked my diagnostic interview was judgemental about my issue. One lady went up and beyond to help me. Brought me a blanket when the staff refused to raise the temperature of the room.everyone else just seemed interested about freeing up beds.
ER was responsive to my needs. Physicians, nurses and admin staff all very helpful during my overnight stay.
My nurses were absolutely amazing and truthfully the Food was amazing! Very well taken care of and attended to.
Georgetown community Hospital is a great place to work! There are multiple specialty services available with years of expertise. It is a very caring, friendly environment committed to the health of our community.
I’ve been a patient here a couple of times and have never had a bad experience. The staff were very nice and did everything to get me healthy enough to go home! I’d def come back here to get the right care !!
My seven-year-old daughter had to have blood work done. We went to Georgetown Hospital and the registration process was super quick and they were friendly. The phlebotomist that called her back immediately saw the apprehension and …
The staff are extremely rude and can’t wait to kick you out the door.
Different day: sadly I have to say my local hospital has disappointed me again. …
My son had to have surgery. We had a great experience with Dr. Dietz and all the registration staff. They were so great at putting us at ease and answering all our questions. The OR staff was incredible and comforting to my son. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you all!!
I had a great experience having my daughter here back in October. The nurses were amazing. If I have another baby I will definitely have them here.
I have my mammogram done here every year. Kim and Gina are awesome!! I so appreciate how hard they work to make sure I am not uncomfortable.
Pediatric Therapy Center has been wonderful for my sweet wild toddler. The ladies are so welcoming and kind. Our sweet Mrs. Lankin is amazing with my boy and I have seen such a improvement. He’s so excited to go to speech every Monday morning.
just went in with severe covid symptons and even though there was no one in there the receptionist was rude and obnoxious. she didn’t have the speaker on to hear me and discouraged me from being looked at by the staff there.
pathetic treatment.
They don’t even deserve 1star. Was sent to the ER for a possible peritonsillar abscess. Sat in a room for nearly 6hrs with IVfluids. After a CT Scan, I was told I did not have an abscess, and I could leave and follow up with primary care. …
I have been having my yearly mammogram at this hospital for around 5 yrs and have always been treated with respect and they have always put me at ease with their friendliness, I will keep coming back because they care.
Rehabilitation services at Georgetown hospital: the whole staff at this place is fantastic, from reception to all of the techs. They all have positive attitudes and are personable, informed, and genuinely concerned about your recovery.
Each nurse, doctor & administering were top notch in car, bedside manners, and cleanliness of the facility.
I was a patient here for 6 days when I had covid. Almost everyone was amazing and caring and kind.
I also had some imaging done as an outpatient, unrelated to this …
Had a hysterectomy in April with Dr. Spirek. Everyone was great! Can’t say enough about the staff in lab, registration, surgery and OB. Plus I even had a Chaplin come pray for me and my recovery❤️.
Excellent at getting my outpatient appointment for a stress test scheduled. The entire process was easy. I was given all my instructions and insurance coverage information. The test itself was explained in detail thru the whole process. Very impressive.
Everyone was helpful and attentive to my needs. They showed compassion and concern. They took the time out to make sure I understood everything that was going on.
I went to the ER back in January for high and irregular heartbeat. While the nurses had a good bedside manner, that’s pretty much about it. I was there for about 20 hours total. The first 8 hours or so I didn’t have a call button and they …
If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Brought a one year old in for a sinus and ear infection and after well over an hour of waiting and listening to the er nurses gossip and discuss the guy Rick who has a boat and a big d**** I took my child and left with no care or diagnosis.
David Gelbart is a very rude person just because I was worried about my daughter. He had no manners and wouldn’t suggest anyone to see him. Talked down to me and my husband just because this is our first child.
The hospital offers a variety of services to care for patients in the community making it convenient so they don’t have to travel far. I’ve been seen in many areas and have received great care each time. Was seen in the ER after an MVA. was seen and treated quickly.
Couldn’t have asked for better care. Showed up and was taken back to a room and received care almost immediately. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, nurses and doctors. Thankful to have this quality care close by!
There is so much to be said for the close knit community you feel at GCH. I’ve had my youngest daughter seen in the ER, my oldest has been seen in Radiology and my mother in multiple areas of the hospital. Everyone has been kind and attentive! We are thankful for our community hospital!
Myself, my husband, and both of my children have all been patients in various departments throughout the hospital and always receive absolutely fantastic care! The staff are very personable and caring and take time with you while also being very efficient. I have never felt like just a room number like I felt at larger hospitals.
Grand daughter delivered there 9 years ago this week. Horrible experience with delivery Doctor. His impatience left the child and parents with a life altering result. Dr Haynes should forever be held accountable and the hospital that allowed him to practice there!
We took our son, Willie Penn, to the Georgetown Community Hospital with him in pain not knowing what was wrong. He hasd “COVID eyes” but tests ruled COVID out. He had labored breathing and was admitted to hospital with diagnosis of …

I have had two surgeries here and both were wonderful experiences. The bariatric team on the floor was phenomenal. Also, the ED took great care of my son when he was having shortness of breath.

My husband had an emergency appendectomy by Dr. Smith, from the Er to the Or was a wonderful experience!! He had to stay overnight and the medsurge staff were amazing too! Thank you Georgetown Community Hospital!
I was traveling with my fiancé on a business trip and while in for the evening I began to experience horrible abdominal pain. Being an ER nurse myself I absolutely didn’t want to visit an ER while out of town. Especially if it was nothing. …
Coming in to a facility for a procedure can always be a little scary, but the excellent staff in Georgetown Community Hospital’s surgery department quickly put you at ease. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will not hesitate to come here for any of my medical needs in the future.
Today I took my pediatric child in for imaging, I was in and out within less than an hour! Everyone was extremely friendly, he enjoyed the toy he received in registration and getting to see his bones after his x-ray! Thanks to all who made the process quick and easy!
Dr. Eric Smith and everyone in the Bariatric Center was amazing. They made me feel so informed throughout my surgery experience. The nurses are the kindest and most helpful .nurses I have ever had. It was perfect service.
I can proudly say I have delivered 3 babies at Georgetown Hospital. I was nervous as a first time mom to deliver at a small facility, but the doctor and nurses made it an amazing experience- so much that I returned for my next two and …

Bed had white stuff stuck to it. Nurse did not provide cup/direction to bathroom. Dr. Gelbart has NO bedside manners. He walked out on me when I asked a question & interrupted me when I was talking. He showed no empathy toward me.
Attentive staff that goes above expectations to provide care and comfort. Nurses and doctors communicate well and will evaluate all options to find best course of treatment
The ED staff was fantastic- nurses and physicians. They took excellent care of me, very professional, caring, & compassionate! I would definitely recommend GCH to anyone!
The best bariatric care and the sweetest and kindest people from the surgeon/ doctors to the techs and assistants and the housekeeping. Makes for an amazing experience. I highly recommend Georgetown Hospital.
This place is horrible we have been told multiple times by staff not to bring our son here because they don’t have the expertise they need to help a child. On top of that when you are trying to speak up for a patient because it hurts them …
All small towns have bad hospitals but this is one of the worst ones. It is clean, that is it. I have been here several times and they get paperwork wrong, push you out, they have at times not been comprehensive. Doctors and nurses seem to …

I have no complaints about Dr.Smith or my bacu nurse Terri! All in all besides the post op pain and nausea it was a positive experience and I’m so happy I took the steps to healthier happier me! The only thing I can even complain about is …
Our first time at the hospital. Everyone was nice and very understanding that I was worried about my daughter. She had a fever of 102 when we walked in. Everyone that helped her was very patient knowing she is only 10 months old and didn’t feel good at all. If she becomes sick again I’ll take her back there.
Went there for heat related issues. Was initially seen quickly but then they shut the door to my room and that was the last I saw of any staff, no call bell nothing. I’m glad I didn’t have a life threatening issue behind closed doors …
Had the sleeve done in Jan, outpatient – and paid out of pocket (no insurance). Had to fight for weeks to get some of my payment returned, as I paid for inpatient instead of outpatient. The Doctor, and the facility, both told me IF there …

The ladies in the PT department are like a second family to me. Brittany is my primary PT and she is wonderful. She’s very thorough in her work with patients and genuinely cares about bettering your overall situation. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for rehab.
Excellent job with caring for my Mother in Law. Only problem we encountered was trying to get 5mg of Melatonin for assistance in sleeping which is her daily regiment at home. Would of thought she was asking for a Narcotic ? Nurse told me …
