Once GorgeNet gets your credit card number, keep an eye on your bill for unauthorized charges. Your “local” internet company will pick your pocket if you don’t keep an eye on them.

Just signed up for gorgenet cable internet. Its basically unusable. A struggle to even load text based websites. Im going to try the fiber line before changing providers. Cant believe they charge money for this, slowest internet ive used since the 90s.
If you are lucky you get thru a two hour Netflix movie in a day. Call them and they will tell you to shut down and restart, like who doesn’t do that first. If you sign up with them you need two things. Low expectations and patience.
The instructions from Gorgenet are vague and did not help with their so called update. What is the point if the Internet shuts down at 6 am and there is not a technical support specialist available until 8 am?

You get what you pay for. For $40/ month for basic internet you get low speed and no guarantee its going to work. I feel like every other day I am having problems. One day good service, the next my internet is lagging and not working at all. If there was anything else offered in the gorge for the same price I would switch ASAP.

They’re friendly, but their internet service is ridiculously slow. A streaming video will pause to buffer, I kid you not, every five seconds. It’s a small town, so there are few options. Definitely not worth the monthly fee we’ve been paying them for over a year.

These guys blocked my driveway when they were digging nobody let us know they moved my garbage can didn’t move it back. Made a mess didn’t clean up. Left garbage on my property very upset.
They hooked up everything works great. Had a little problem next day called talked to rep I think Jeff we found out was my router that needed reset not their problem at all but they were very helpful and walked me through it. Back up and running perfect.. very good service very good support. Nice company to work with. Thanks

Thier service is spotty at best. Almost as slow as Dial Up. Could not even watch any TV PROGRAMS. Also the Customer Service is WORSE.
