  6. Find another place to live if you have to deal with this company. It rips off its customers with a $32 monthly fee just for the dubious distinction of having to use its services, there being no other options. Consumers charges an $11 monthly fee.

  7. PATHETIC company that STEALS a HUGE $32/MONTHLY FEE. I called my USELESS state Representative (ZERO help). By far, the WORST reason to live in an otherwise AWESOME part of the world.

  13. Aggressive tree trimming operation to minimize power outages from fallen branches. When there is a power outage response is very prompt. Significant supply of energy is from renewables. Rates are reasonable. Introducing some competition into the internet market

  14. This is the first electric company I’ve ever had to no only charge a monthly fee on top of your usage but $32 a month?! Seems crazy to me. It’s unfortunate there are only a few options in my area but will be changing companies as soon as possible!

  15. EXCELLENT electric provider! We are right on the lakeshore and rarely lose power. When we do they are on it right away. Waiting…not so patiently….for them to offer Internet in our service area. Hope they can extend internet service in our area soon!!

  30. I love being part of the GLE family. Other than a quick on and off very rarely, I’ve only had 2 outages in the 18 yrs I’ve lived in Oceana County. And GLE always has us up & running a lot quicker than Consumers.

  31. They are quick to respond to power outages and that’s a must because I only have electric in my house. The only thing that didn’t get the fifth stare is the monthly service fee. I’m low income and I don’t feel we should pay the same as non-residents.
