My husband and I ate lunch here today 01/12. I made a salad and bought chicken tenders to rip up and put on top of the salad. The staff were friendly and the dining room was pretty clean.
Was in same day surgery! Great nurses but 2 really stood out to me. Shea was so good with my little guy and Gia was very informative on what to do and helped us get back home quickly! They both were so nice and helpful!
It needs toys😐 …
Great professionals and staff
Great staff and their EMR is amazing!!!
Fabulous staff great service
Technology unsurpassed
Everyone one was caring and helpful
Well not come back again piss pure doctor’s
Nurse in maternity needs fired! Very rude
Have been sitting here with a sick kid for three hours now. Not impressed!
Nice staff, nice hospital.
I would go to the next town if I was you. If you want to be over charged and have your problem get worse than this I the place for you.
Dr. Mike Crisman is by far the best doctor at the hospital.
Had a great experience. I was well taking care of.
To Dirty Larry……agree with your assessment of the Psychiatric Unit staff.
When we had a problem with care the staff was immediately changed!. We were here over a week we truly have no complaints!
This hospital is a joke! Don’t waste your time go to Lincoln or Omaha where the real doctors are!
Great place to be surrounded by top notch professionals in all aspects and close enough to my home town. Thank you all.
Everyone was very caring and respectful during our situation. Great staff!
In room nursing on the 4th floor was great. So was security. Lack of communication between departments
Everyone has been very pleasant ,very knowledgeable, I like coming to my PT
The care I received was top notch! Staff was professional and courteous.
Every thing went well. Clean rooms efficient nurses.
Great care. Never any problems. Got the needed treatment thanks
Nice & clean. In this day & age, with all our technology, shouldn’t a patient’s information go with them from ER to hospital when it’s the same place????
Free WiFi people linking and then fishing electronic illegally by scrambling others cell phones stealing information by incorporating their free wifi taking over people operating system then using Chrome Cast to trap their internet and as an illegal viewing device
NOTHING but Trouble with their billing department. payments being made and account not reflecting it properly.
Very friendly staff. Took very good care of me during and after my procedure.
We call for my girlfriend because she had had kidney stones removed and a stint put in 4 days later she was still in pain the meds weren’t helping and was still peeing blood the nurse told her it was alright and these signs are normal when …
Avoid at all costs. Go to Kearney, Denver, Mexico.. Anywhere but this money hungry corptocracy that cares not about our community.
Always very nice to everyone/ cleaning. Clean place 2 be and have lots of food.
Nice things in Gift shop I go every 2 weeks.
Everyone was very nice and helpful during my recent stay and they tried to make sure that I understood everything I needed to related to my illness.
NP is fortunate to have a facility with such state of the art equipment and many specialties represented. The staff is very involved in the community and I really like the wellness focus I am seeing recently.
I’m very satisfied with my health care experience the all around service of everyone involved with my stay was second to none.
My friend was in the week before he passed. He was weak, dizzy, and had bloody stools. Common signsof internal bleeding. They did NO testing and let him go. Exactly a week later he went back in by ambulance. He died of a burst artery.
I had to go there when I was visiting
and ended up with kidney stones. The staff was very pleasant and understanding of my pain. I am very pleased with the hospital and staff
This terrible hospital put the wrong knee cap in my grandpas knee during a knee replacement. His quality of life has descended. During a heart surgery, these armature doctors nicked an artery. Most recently, my grandpa has been diagnosed …
The nurse’s were awesome and so was the in house dr i had and the heart dr that seen me. I wish he was here more so i could see him all the time
The pulmonologist was really nice but she told me my results would be sent the next day and I should hear back from my doctor within a few days. It actually took them a month to send my results to my doctor.
The nurses and staff are all very friendly and they all do their best to make you as comfortable as possible during your stay.
I’ve never been in any other hospital that has made me feel more secure then Great Plains! The healthcare is excellent!
Pops had an accident and we got an ambulance ride from Halsey national forest to north Platte and since we got here the attention was excellent! I was a bit skeptical due to the reviews but the care and help was incredible we are truly great full for this hospital and everyone in it! Thank you!
Nurses are nice but I feel like they don’t care about the patients alot.when I was in a room waiting for medical attention all I heard was nurses and doctors laughing.i was in a lot of pain and feel like if they weren’t messing around I could have been out of pain Sooner and just out of their hair.
Worst hospital ever. PAs work ER. Was brought in unconscious by ambulance left in hallway unattended. Another time was brought in by ambulance and accused of dr shopping and drug seeking when I’m disabled. Found out later they billed my …
there are some great doctors here! 95% of the time, very professional, knowledgeable …
I was on the 4th floor. From the doctors to gals that freshened up the rooms the staff was amazing. Coming in they didn’t know what was wrong and my body took a turn for the worse. The staff was right on it. Food was even good. 😉😉 …
I wanted to take the opportunity to relate my recent experience with Great Plains Healthl. My wife and I were headed back home thru Nebraska when I experienced some chest pains and not wanting to take any chances we stopped in North …
Would like to leave 0 stars! Not sure how anyone got their education at GPH. They’ll run tests on you all day to get a confirmation for surgery (just so they can get the money) then refuse to do surgery because of the risk! WHY RUN THE …
Staff is very friendly and professional. All offices and rooms are exceptionally clean. Great communication throughout the process from beginning to end!
I would rate the staff and doctors highly but the hospital itself is borderline criminal in the way they bill you and your insurance company. If you go into the hospital to see a specialist, they will bill you twice; once for the specialist …
Was there for 2 days before some student nurse told me I had to call to order my food.. glad baby was already born! Some staff is awesome one nurse on maternity needs fired. Very rude to my husband and kids
Have nothing good to say about the hospital. I go out to f town to have anything done.
Although I would love to leave more stars because my husbands night nurse was amazing… I wasnt impressed with the doctor at all. I dont think we saw her one time…to discharge my husband she literally called the nurse on a phone and had her put her on speaker. I’ve never heard oe seen this done before. I was appalled.
The nurse Courtney was the best part she made me feel like a human being and nor a piece of meat but the medical team in the ambulance were so ruff with me they traumatized me ill never trust to ride in an ambulance ever again they did more damage to me then I did to my self
This review is purly on the staff on the fifth floor of the hospital(not all of them but the mass majority of the nurses and doctors) I was diagnosed with bipolar and when I was getting “treatment” I never felt more dehumanized in my life. …
My grandmother is currently in ICU at Great Plains. After being in bed for 14 hours she asked the nurse (who is pregnant) to help her to the bathroom. The nurse replied that she is 8 months pregnant & doesn’t want my grandma to fall & hurt …
I just wanted to thank the staff and in the ER and PCU. I was recently sent by the VA system to your facility with shortness of breath. The ER staff took charge and gave peace of mind went to work and gave me the treatment I needed. I was …
The nurses in surgery As well as the ones who took care of me in my room were very friendly and did a fantastic job.
Don’t get me wrong I’ve never had a problem with any of the doctors or staff, but their billing services make me want to rip out my hair. I have called several time trying to set up an automatic payment only to get notices about over do …
My son had an ultrasound here as an outpatient. The insurance did not cover $600 dollars of it. There was a separate $150 bill for a radiologist to read it. Funny thing is the technologist gave us his results, but we never heard from the …
My child is in the military and she needed a COVID test to return to base. The intake person was clueless and very rude when she tried to make her appointment for the test. Unless it’s a local doctor making the order, the scheduling staff …
Every single staff person with whom I interacted was exceptional, particularly the nurses, but also the other staff people. Thank you for such a lovely experience!!!!!
Not impressed with this hospital. Nursing staff is rude, ancillary departments seem to hire inept people, and the er is not impressive.
I have sole legal decisions regarding my children and Haley (Sisson?) in the er …
The management and record part of hospital is terrible. Calle many times and left messages, no response. Dr’s, and nurse’s. and workers are great.
I cannot thank Whitney RN progressive care and Andy RT for the fabulous care they took of my Dad. Whitney was wonderful! She took time out of her busy schedule answering family questions and worked with others to make sure Dad went home …
I would love to leave more stars for the support staff, but our experience at GPH was ruined by a terrible anesthesiologist. …
I’m still waiting for a referral appointment with the endocrinologist at the speciality clinic. I have left 2 messages over the past 3 weeks (don’t think this is excessive) and have yet to get a return call. At this point, I’m not sure I …
Received excellent care from the doctor and nurses in ER. From friendly staff at the registration, to the nurses (Especially Megan) and to the caring and compassionate doctor, I was very well taken care of.
The emergency room we were put in was not clean. There was a used Kleenex on the floor along with other pieces of what looked like backing off bandages. …
Came in 2 week ago for my girlfriends broken ankle. They told us it was just bruised and to go home and ice it for 2 to 3 days and she would be fine. Come back 2 weeks later because for her to stand up makes her literally fall into tears. 3 …
I was recently emitted into this hospital about a month ago for a car accident on the interstate. I was given a male doctor with a bald head and a messy beard. Not that it matters what he looks like, but I just want to be sure you know who …
I had a difficult time after my recovery and everyone was right there to help me.
As I was moved to a room the care was
Awesome. My day and night nurse were just exemplary.
My two nurses were excellent, great care, Gia and Jarhmar. Surgery staff great too. Dr Short the best kind person I know.
My mother’s cousin went in because he was experiencing a fever of over 100, a rash, and extreme exhaustion. They tested him for covid and he was negative so they sent him home. He was rushed back in the ambulance a couple days later and he …
I’m not very impressed! The meds I was given were not explained to me, my dismissal instructions after having surgery were not explained to me, other procedures were not explained to me either! With people who are harder of hearing people need to talk slower , so that a person can understand them.
The best hospital we have ever been in.
Two surgeries and multiple visits to the cancer center.
I am 65 years old and never received better care, the housekeepers, doctors, …
Sandy, who did the first interview was very pleasant as well as the nurse who assisted with the shower. The nurse who did the latest interview was very through and pleasant to work with, I appreciate your service s and the pleasant ladies. Thank you.
When you are a provider that is unable to order even simple imaging from a clinic, they have something seriously wrong with them. As a chiropractor that has the license to send radiology requests for his patients, it is very annoying to be …
I was treated here 2 years ago. I never received a bill, a call, nothing from them. When I went, they were informed i was unemployed. 2 years later, they call about my bill. I told them I never received one. The person that called said …
I have been in many different hospitals due to my health issues and the North Platte facility was by far the best I’ve ever been in. Everyone was extremely professional, prompt, courteous and very thorough with explaining everything they were doing. They truly go above and beyond to give you the care you need
The nursing staff is overworked to the point I had a nurse ask me how I was feeling after my mastectomy. I was in the hospital for pneumonia. I had a normal EKG and ECHO CARDIOGRAM and was told by a doctor that I was in heart failure. …
I had surgery on Tuesday and needed to stay a couple nights in the hospital. Dr. Simonson is an excellent surgeon and all the staff that took care of me was amazing, especially A.J. …
Dr. Aldamen is the smartest brains and the kindest soul I have ever seen, you will be lucky if he takes care of you!
I don’t really like hospitals, this wasn’t that bad there were few times when things didnt go right but it all worked out to the good.
The nurses were great to me 4 and 1/2 stars to them. And the Drs. Were great too.
Went to my personal Dr. for severe pain in my back. Dr. sent me straight to ER. All they did was gave me shot for pain and told me to see the spine surgeon. Did MRI and went to GPH’s spine surgeon. He said everything looked good go see a …
I had 2 amazing nurses Cristal and Eli. They were so kind and helpful when I felt my weakest. Through my surgery and all my pre-op testing I never had to wait around more than 15 minutes and everyone that helped me was very informative and kind. They truly made me feel like I was important.
I will never set foot in that hospital again. I will die on the way to ogallala or Gothenburg before ever set foot in that hospital again.
Rudest coldest and unfeeling unprofessional medical staff I have ever encountered in my life coming from a former medical professional I would never suggest any person of any age going to this hospital
The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The nurses and trainees were all very nice and professional. If I pushed one of my call lights they were there pretty quickly to help me. The food was good. No complaints from me.
Do not go here. Go to Kearney. Go anywhere. We won’t even dig into the bedside manner of some of the staff. They lost my dying mother’s dentures, then sent her to hospice to starve. She just wanted to eat real food. She was starving. It …
Great service and caring staff. Very busy and very efficient well organized. Really nice emergency area and clean. Kept me well informed about what they were doing for me and what was next to do. Gave me precise and clear instructions for me to follow up on. Thanks for your help GPH I am glad you are here and doing such a great work.
I was scheduled for a knee replacement with Dr. Singh. The approach to surgery is patient centered. Thank you to Jill Stevenson for Joint class and Steven Burns at PT. Dr. Singh takes the time to answer questions. I appreciate all the same day staff. Kind and efficient.
By far the best medical staff I have ever encountered!!! Amazing nurses in every single way ❤ We are from a much smaller town that was not equipped to handle a baby at 36weeks and got transferred here. Truly a blessing!!! Our doctor that …
I had a D&C after a missed miscarriage here—the wonderful nurses at this hospital helped make a traumatic event much less traumatizing. They were so empathetic, and even went to the lengths to call a nurse down from maternity who had …
Some of the best Surgeon’s around. Very knollegable and friendly staff all around. All the way from the FREE Vale parking, Emergency Room’s then off to the Outpatient Surgical Center and on to the Outpatient Recovery room’s and all the way …
No urologist for days.Everyone deserves vacation I understand. Just not all at once. People are going to have health issues. Staff your facility appropriately.
The clinical staff here is topnotch. It is our go to place for my family, without a doubt. However today I received a summons from a GPH lawyer saying that I am being sued for a medical bill. Confused I called the billing dept. Within 5 …
First time hospital stay due to severe illness. My pain & comfort levels are the least of their concern. Coming up on my 4th night with no sleep due to pain. I don’t understand what their problem is with releasing pain meds to help a …
The doctors and nurses were great. Hospital itself as beds but no staff. Why is it they can’t keep help is the administration or is it just little pay. It cost me a lot of extra money to have my wife shipped to Kearney to stay at the hospital plus gas and hotel.
