Groton Eye Center Reviews ( 26 )

  1. Horrible! I haven’t been to this practice in over a year and yet they keep billing me for other peoples visits this year. I am beyond annoyed! They can’t ever seem to get their billing right

  2. They wouldn’t let me wear my mask and insisted on wearing their inefficient surgical mask . I walked out after refusing to wear their Mask. Dr. Adrian is great , just wish the staff wasn’t so ignorant. I have been in the Westerly …

  3. Now that Dr. Nigrelli has left the practice there’s no reason to put up with the lousy customer service. Even if I wanted to give them another try I couldn’t since they refuse to answer the phone or call you back.

  4. Very kind staff and happy to assist you. Dr. Adrian is very efficient and listens to you as a patient instead of trying to prescribe everything under the sun. The only downside is the long wait time to set up an appointment and up to an hour wait in the waiting room.

  5. Had a good experience with the optometrist here. They conducted the test thoroughly and patiently. It was easy to get appointments with the doctors here. The staff is really courteous and very quick to respond. They have a good collection of frames to choose from.

  6. I’ll start by saying, Dr. Nigrelli alone would of made my review 5 stars I’ve seen every dr at groton eye center and so far ye has been the most upfront, caring, straight forward dr I’ve seen. Not that any other doctors wherent good because …

  7. When you call to pick up glasses it says they’re open on Saturdays but apparently they decided to change that without changing their options online and on their phone. If I would have known this before I wouldn’t have waited to pick up my …

  8. I have to say this is the best I doctor I have ever been to. I have never gone to an eye doctor where if their appointment is two or three weeks later and you don’t have contact lenses they’ll give you spares until you can get in because …

  9. Dr. Adrian is one of the best eye doctors I’ve ever had, his assistants and the other doctors in the practice are really great. I go there just for him, but his front staff, secretaries are ok. They are a bit rude, not very people friendly …

  10. They doctors are supposedly good, but the process and office policies are ridiculous. Making me sign forms and contracts that I can not read, even skim, first? Charging me 5x out of pocket costs because 5 years ago I did wear contacts, …

  11. I have multiple bad experience with this facility.
First, they told me that they cannot do the exam for me and my wife on the same day because one of us need to be able to drive back home and since they’d dilate …

  12. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.FIRST THEY MAKE YOU STILL WEAR MASKS AFTER ALMOST 3 YEARS OF COVID.THE FRONT STAFF IS RUDE AND THEIR PRICES FOR EYEGLASSES IS VERY EXPENSIVE.MY INSURANCE COVERS ONE FREE ANNUAL EYE EXAM,THEY MADE ME PAY A $45 CO-PAY WHICH I’M STILL NOT SURE IF I’M GOING TO BE REIMBURSED FOR..THIS PLACE IS A RIP-OFF.

  13. I see that they had my original review removed. This office is owned by Dr. Adrian, who is a terrible manager, and manhandled me while he was still practicing (I was supposed to see Dr. Nigrelli, who was the best thing about this place). I walked out. His office staff at the front desk were always bad. Don’t fund this guy’s retirement.

  14. The most comprehensive eye exam around. This would have been a 5 star review, however they STILL require masks in August of 2022! The Pandemic is over. The State of Connecticut dropped the mask mandate in medical offices on April 16, 2022. It is time to MOVE ON.

  15. This place is great. The postal service (not great) lost my $200 contact lenses package but Groton Eye Center reorder a new set for me at no charge. Excellent customer service.
