Guam Power Authority Reviews ( 21 )

  1. I loved my customer service, I was helped a lot, they where friendly, when I was transferring my bills, it was a high price but they still tried to help me so I can have power and water for my place. Thank you.

  2. Slow service. Slow staff. Usually only one person available and they will just stare blindly at the screen while customers wait. Overall low rating is well deserved.

  3. I waited 25 minutes from signing in first thing in the morning. No one had a customer at their desk- yet they had their breakfast and coffee out! Respect your job, eat breakfast before you get to work and service people when you clock in. It’s your job!

  4. Worst customer service!!! The whole process to get power/water is ridiculously expensive for a deposit and then they explain that you can’t pay online until you get your first invoice. Well, haven’t received my first invoice to set that up! …

  5. Well, what can I say. I hate the prices of electricity on Guam. I’ll try to just consider my experience at this location to pay bills, turn on service, etc. The positives are the people. I’ve had a friendly experience each time, even …

  6. I’ve never done a review but all Im going say is my wife DID NOT deserve the treatment that she got at your public works office. She went back 3 times in one day waited over 5 hours to just get POWER bro POWER. IM NOT going to name drop but …

  7. They cut power when doing maintenance randomly. They don’t warn people down the line to let them know lower will be secured. My food was ruined since I wasn’t warned ahead of them conducting maintenance. These people need to be more considerate.

  8. The LEAC charges are through the roof and are double the actual amount you would pay for power. LEAC financials and spending are supposed to be updated and publicly posted every year on the GPA website but the last posting was from FY 2009. Something isn’t right with these outrages charges that have been lasting for a while now.

  9. I have never been able to reach a rep and have never been given a call back despite leaving a message. I live in an apartment where the general consensus is that something must be wrong with the meter. How can we be spending over $500 a …

  10. For as much as we pay for the electric here, and it’s needed because it’s so dang hot and humid, there shouldn’t be power outages. $500 a month to only run 1 aircon at a time (whichever room I’m in) and at 78. GPA is gouging us for mediocre service.

  11. Terrible. I’ve been calling and leaving messages for days and no response. I went in and asked if I could pay the 15th this month and the lady said yes and that there would be no issues or late fees. Guess what?! They are about to shut off …

  12. We recently moved away from Guam and closed our account in July. I was told they would mail me a check for the remainder of our $500 deposit once the current billing period closed. A month and a half later, still no refund. Called to …
