Harvest – Monrovia Water & Sewer Authority Reviews ( 47 )

  1. Pricing is the water isn’t the issue it’s the people that work there are rude and if you move you have to pay another 150 dollar deposit they don’t transfer services that’s the rule is what the lady told me crazy

  2. Called to ask for help about the sewer and lady who answered the phone was slightly rude and gave me no help or information at all. She just said “thats just something you’ll have to figure out” CLEARLY THATS WHY I WAS CALLING!

  3. Having come from another area of the state where I was disappointed in the service and positively scalped by the fees, I am very pleased with Harvest -Monrovia Water. Reasonable cost and dependable service.

  4. Horrible customer service and over priced water. Typically, if you give a business your money, they would be thankful.
Customers are paying over priced sewer service. When I asked why, they could not give me a straight answer.

  5. Terrible customer service. It’s a shame that this is the only option for water. Employees are rude every time I engage with them in person and on the phone. Very, very dissatisfied with this company and their nasty attitude. Prices are pretty high too.

  6. Hate this company!!!! Worst experience ever!!! I am moving out of the area only to get away from this horrible “business” so I do not ever have to deal with the idiots that work there ever again. I have ALWAYS held up my end of the bargain …

  7. This is the 4th state I’ve lived in, and the one with the HIGHEST water rates BY FAR! We barely use an excess of water, and we wash our clothes at maximum load in the shortest possible cycle, refrain from watering our garden, yet every month this bill is a thorn in my side!

  8. I was on hold for 10 minutes, so that wasn’t pleasant, but once the customer service rep got on the phone everything was fine. Even though the account error was my fault, she was courteous, professional and helpful.

  9. Yes, I agree that the Sewer is overpriced. This amount does include Maintenance on the septic tanks/system and after hours/on call service when you need them 24/7. When your alarm goes off for your septic tank, you should immediately call them so they can come out and check it.

  10. This company sucks! They’re just a bunch of crooks! I’ve been paying $90 a month for my bill and I’m a single guy living in a small house. They make up fees and services and cut you off if you don’t pay. Something has to be done about this monopoly. Customer service sucks too. Bunch of crooked a**holes.

  11. Can’t imagine anyone complaining about the pricing of the water. The bill is in line with small towns where I have lived and much less than other regions or big cities. The people I have dealt with at the Water Authority have been nothing but gracious.

  12. Every time I’ve called with a question, the people have been really great and helpful on the phone. I can’t say I’ve had any major problems – just a few missing e-bills – turns out it was a system error. But for everyday questions, they have all been wonderful.

  13. I have NEVER encountered a more rude individual in my life! The lady at the front was nice, but the older lady sitting at the desk behind her was just disgustingly disrespectful and this water authority should seriously consider a …

  14. The level of customer service at Harvest Water is zero. I would have given them 1 star, but the water is fine. The problem really is just with the “service” people in the front and that answer the telephone. They almost go out of their way to be rude.

  15. Harvest Monrovia is the worst water company in the planet. Water in Alabama is more costly than the northeast. Their customer service is horrible. If you pay the bill the due date they will charge you a late fee because according to the …

  16. This entity, Harvest-Monrovia Water Authority, deserves a rating of a 0. This is yet another anti-melanated citizen company that is likely a closet ALEC member, if not an open one. They are monsters of inequality. It’s likely that the split …

  17. This company is simply an offshoot of Huntsville Utilities with the exact same bad manners from employees and the exact same ability to cheat consumers except that Huntsville Utilities charges the consumer $40.00 if a door-knocker for a …

  18. Terrible people and Business…my water was cut off today… 2 hours after a payment was made IN FULL. I was told by customer service that even though I paid the reconnect fee of $40 and the full bill amount before my service was turned off …

  19. I truly wish I could give 0 stars. The customer service at HMWA is beyond reprehensible. Namely, there is an employee named Julie who is perhaps the meanest woman alive. She is RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Sadly, her superiors know this yet they …

  20. Price gouging water prices is the norm for this department. Harvest MONROVIA ranks as some of the highest water bills in the state if not in the south given the lack of transparency with this department. Sticker shock is common among many …

  21. Horrible service. When I bought my house it was on the 13th of the month, they told me they do my reading on the 2nd. I did not move in until the 11th of the following month but they charged me almost $300 for for the 13th -2nd that I did …

  22. This place needs a course in customer service. The people are rude and very matter of fact with you. I would rather collect rain water and use it than continue to use this business . I paid my bill they still cut off water and wanted to …

  23. This company is illegal. My cut off date was the,12th. I paid the bill on the 11th. They never came to cut it off because the bill was satisfied and they still charged a 40 reconnect fee for a service that was never disconnected. This has …

  24. Today I experienced the worst service outcome at Harvest Water Authority. The company had a contractor come out to my house without providing any information and service my house. They destroyed lines connecting my internet and all I was …

  25. I don’t know where to begin except one star is extremely generous. Multiple issues. The staff is horrid, rude and lack basic human kindness. They have screwed my family repeatedly but I will just give you the worst. A couple of years ago …

  26. Customers should learn to read their own meters. Their meter readers make mistakes and if the customer doesn’t catch it, the error will go unnoticed. This company charges sewer fees for water used for irrigating your yard. I’m serious.

  27. Any time I’ve had a question or needed to get in contact with someone, Ms. Bradley has always been there to respond. She is very helpful, professional and quick to respond. …

  28. Lazy rude workers. Two lazy to read a meter they’re too lazy to even wipe the dirt off the meter so they can actually see the numbers that they’re supposed to be looking at. one month my bill $10 higher the next month is consistently $10 …

  29. Sherita was very kind of the phone this afternoon explaining how everything works. She did a great job explaining the different ways that I can pay my bill. The call did not feel rushed and she was happy to answer all of my questions.. This …

  30. Eric helped me hook up my service and disconnect my service after I moved. He was so very kind and pleasant to work with. Service was turned on the same day I requested and disconnected the same day I requested. Very pleased with the …

  31. Customer service with this company is an absolute joke. The fact that your managers (particularly Shemika with my latest experience) won’t even hear you out with the issue you’re having because assumptions are being made is absolutely …

  32. My bill is so erratic it’s ridiculous! Even the Manger of the company, Mike doesn’t have a clue. I hate having them manage my water. If the meter readers would read the meters instead of guess at your usage and they would read on a regular …

  33. I called in to report a problem with a water leak, the told me they would have a service guy call me to help find the leak. No one ever called and now my water bill is $99, this has been going on for almost a year and my normal water bill is $20 a month. Stop telling people you will help if you are not going to help.

  34. water leak in between my house and neighbors, been leaking for over 1 year & 6 months. Water authorities do NOT care. Ruining our sidewalk. Our grass is very green and loving the extra water. Unfortunately most of the water is on concrete …
