8 wish I had a another why to get power 35 years and then threaten with a 650 bill to get power back on It takes two people to put two plactic clips on a meter Base then leave yeppie that’s what you pay for it will burn them some day
The service is extremely expensive. $200-$600 just for one person. They must do an investigation. Even in the difficult times of Covid-19 they had no mercy.

Haywood EMC and tree crew did an amazing job. They went out of their way to be kind and round off our tree. Kudos for professionalism and a job well done.
Way too high in price. My bills under Progress Energy were less than half of what HEMC are.
Their rates are extremely high. Outages are more frequent by far, than any where else that I have lived. Their service people seem to be very efficient and helpful. Still barely worthy of 3 stars due to the rates and outages.

Unwilling to work with people during these hard times. My mother has heart failure and her place of work has been closed since March2020. HEMC has provided our power for over 30 years. I appreciate how kind the employees have been to us on multiple occasions (on the phone as well as in the field).
