From the moment I arrived , and right up to getting on the shuttle. Everyone went out of there way to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. The staff was incredibly warm and kind . They have made that place an incredible place for healing. …
Great place to work .
Exceptional place to work.
Fantastic place to work!
#1 successful Treatment Center
Nice place. Crappy bar though.
Such kind customer service
The grounds are very beautiful and the staff is friendly
This place saved my life. I had been to treatment at other facilities and never received the level of care i did here.
Thank you.
Liked some parts about my stay but something’s are not very personalized.
A truly magical place.
Wife made it less than 2 weeks. What a joke this place is. Please don’t waste your money on this .
Love the Second Sunday talks. I always learn something new. Affordable and wonderful company, with lunch.
Amazing place to work! Thank you Hazelden for being a safe place to come into everyday to help others and the advancement opportunities that are within!
My mother went there. It was evident that it was peer driven with little help from staff at times. On a 1 hr visit I saw so much drama between patients I thought I was in an episode of intervention. People do swear by it however.
I updated the map so it shows the proper spot for check in. Once at facility the signs will guide you to visiting or family day. I hope this stops others from trying to drive down the walking trails 😁 …
Absolute dumpster fire. Malfeasance. Criminality, fraudulence, abuse, incompetence, and malpractice.
Since may of 2019 I’ve sought help from Hazelden Betty Ford on more than one occasion I’m really scared and don’t know what to do they keep turning me away
If you want sobriety, if you need sobriety you should start here. There aren’t enough words to describe how much this place helped me.
Horrible experience. They treat their patients like criminals. Staff is abusive. Treatment style is old fashioned and needs to be completely updated. Replace the counselors and management ASAP
Food quality has diminished greatly.
Excellent caring place. So many resources & they take very good care of you. Food is amazing! The grounds are beautiful & peaceful & the facility itself is very clean.
This place is beautiful. The only reason I leave 4 stars is because of how incredibly difficult it is to find anything as a visitor. It was very frustrating trying to figure out the closest place to park in -3degree weather with bad wind outside. Not fun to walk around trying to figure out where to go. Wish the signs were more clear.
5 years sober because of this place. Saved my life. Hazelden physically got me sober but also taught me the tools to stay sober and also live with serenity and peace.
Hazelden gave me the tools and instructions on how to use them. I am forever grateful for all the help everyone gave me to learn a new way of life. A better way of life.
Amazing staff, clean facilities and a program unmatched.
Amazing staff, programs, and facility. I would recommend it to anyone in need of their services.
Poor care from some of nursing and disappointment with Mental Health professionals.
Amazing campus, saved my life.. you only get what you put into it. Dr Nick, Myers, Gibson.. Don Elvard. Dave, Jason Porter…Cody ✌️ All great people. That’s the dream team right there. All the techs. Especially Robyn and Michelle.. loved them. I will be back.. next time as staff. Thank you all for saving my life..
Caring staff that really help me start the transition to a sober life
Hazelden Center City was a safe, nonjudgmental and beautiful place to begin my journey with sobriety.
hands down the best treatment center I’ve been to..the staff (from nurses & doctors to theraputic folk) are knowledgeable in all areas of addiction, and help you get your life back. if you want to get sober, this is the place to do so. their family program changes lives.
This is my favorite location in the world. I learned so much about myself that I didn’t know previously and wouldn’t have learned on my own. I was in the worst place of my life and Hazelden showed me how to put myself back together and …
Great place to go they take good care of you and care about you and your recovery.
Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation helped me find the real me physically and mentally. Now I have a better outlook to enjoy my retirement!
I don’t leave reviews often but this place saved my life!! Only thing I wish could have happened differently was my counselor was not for me and I wish I could have switched but I’ve been to several inpatients and this was by far the best …
I was a patient at Hazelden for a couple weeks until they turned me away at my greatest time of need. My aunt worked in an adjacent program to the one I was attending and she felt ‘uncomfortable’ with me being in the same building, so …
Hazelden is not a place to be successful, my son went there, one of the counselors told me he was going to die so I should prepare myself. Another counselor degraded and embarrassed him twice in front of all of his peers. I called both of …
The counselors, programs and connections with other patients I made at Hazelden have given me a second chance on life. Truly a life-changing experience if you put in the work.
I came here 2 weeks ago for the 28 day inpatient treatment and want to let everyone know before deciding to come here, do your research on other facilities/programs. It is majority peer lead, you meet with the counselors once, maybe 2 times …
Hazelden Betty Ford saved my life! I’m so ever grateful
My time with the HAzelden Betty Ford foundation and the connections I have made through the help I received have given me a newfound hope for life, that five years ago I didn’t know existed. After meeting with the new CEO I am even more …
Life changing place. If you have a choice, go to hazelden. They care for you like you’re their family. It’s a safe space to get well.
I had the pleasure of just finishing my residential and day treatment at hazelden! First off I want to say it is scary and nerve racking to first make the call. But apon on arrival I was greated warmly. The staff at hazeldan is nothing less …
l had the privilege of wearing three hats at Hazelden/BettyFord Foundation at Center City, Minnesota. I was called to be their chaplain, was a student at the Counselor Traning school which the following year matriculated into the Graduate …
This place saved my life and has given me the tools to live a beautiful and happy sober life for my family but most importantly for myself. I relapsed once since leaving there 4 1/2 years ago but because of the tools and resources I learned there I am proud to be sober and happy again. Thank you Hazelden for giving me my life back.
Do NOT send your child or young adult here if they have the disease of alcoholism. They are all incompetent and DO NOT CARE about the patient. They just want your money, if you really care about your child or young adult, send them to …
Recovery is a journey not a destination and I am so grateful to have been able to access treatment at Hazelden during my greatest time of need. The level of care Is exceptional. I was educated about the disease of addiction and learned …
This is the second facility I went to for alcohol addiction, and the last. I have now been sober for a year since I went here. The program at this facility is amazing, and so are the staff. If you are looking for somewhere to go that is …
Amazing place with amazing accommodations. The staff is incredible-therapists, nurses, and doctors. The best of the best when it comes to treatment centers in my opinion. The rooms are spacious & the way it is set up, it is like having your …
I don’t this worked for me. I paid in real money. Still sober!
Loved everything about HBFF except the food and the covid 19 I got while I was there.
Thank you Hazelten Betty Ford for all that you’ve done I was in Tiebout and I’m looking forward to sobriety for the rest of my life ❤️🩹 …
My staff during treatment were phenomenal. The facility is beautiful and clean. I was pleased, until I got out and started IOP. I had a very short, half day relapse, and my IOP counselor called me and told me she wanted me to go back to …
The staff was great. Truly cared about my recovery.
Who knew I could a true miracle in Betty Ford Hazelden Foundation? Who knew I could find my path to sanity, find my smile again, my peace again, and most importantly my sobriety? Gone are my fears, anxiety and depression and replaced with …
This place has its strong suits. In particular, Hazelden is excellent at taking your money and creating repeat customers. A family member has been to this glorified “rehabilitation center” five times. Perhaps, not surprisingly, they are far …
Excellent attention given to the individual patients. Absolutely beautiful campus. This is the Mothership of treatment facilities.
The entire staff that I came in contact with were truly amazing! I went there not knowing what to expect and on edge. From the moment that I walked through the doors I was treated incredibly well and that quickly disarmed me and the anxiety I was feeling. Great campus, food and accommodations.
Great program!! I learned a lot about myself and my alcoholism.
I was given the tools to compete against my addiction, and have the upper hand over it.
All the tools and support are given to those lucky enough to be able to choose Hazelden as their treatment center. Follow the program when you get out!
Excellent care. The staff is professional and very ca, ring. All my needs were addressed, and I formed some great relationships.
I can’t say enough good things about this place!
Cleanliness, positivity, plenty of exercise available, great food, interesting and educating speakers, awesome counselors, great rooms with ample privacy, …
Not only do they treat the alcoholism they treat the mental health as well. I would recommend if you are trying to recover this is the place.
My experience was amazing. The staff was so caring and supportive. They take care of the whole person physically, spiritually, and mentally. The campus is beautiful and cathartic as well. As a non-binary identifying person I felt seen and heard. It doesn’t get any better than Hazelden.
I had a wonderful experience. Everyone is so kind and caring. I met some awesome ladies in Simmons. And we became part of the Simmons sisterhood. I’ll cherish my time well spent on the Simmons Unit. I transferred over to Lilly, in which …
Very disappointed as a repeat patient from 2015 and 2017. Food is awful, no access to doctors of any kind, many services cut due to staffing and lack of security. Do not recommend.
Even tho I’m just in the stabilization mode , I love the relaxed atmosphere and everyone is very welcoming . I love all three of my counselors and I am eager to start programming today !!
I had amazing counselors and therapists. Insightful, supportive, and hard working. But when it comes to meds, aftercare, dietary needs, or anything administrative, be sure to ask questions until you fully understand your options, communicate your needs and advocate for yourself.
A once admirable retreat for addicted boomers, this foundation is crumbling. I was there to see a dear friend enter on more than one occasion. After being carted to the hospital the first time, and having relapsed to a point far worse than …
As this was my first experience with treatment for alcoholism, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I felt cared for and respected from the time that I arrived to the day I left. …
I love Hazelden, it truly is a life saving place. I am where I am today and feel the strength I do because of this place. For the very first time in a long time sobriety doesn’t seem like such an impossible thing. I feel amazing and I feel …
I never received counseling and the only thing said to every patient is the same thing regardless of background. I was told “Our team” met and determined my post treatment plan before my one and only “session” with him. Cookie cutter. Do …
Pros: The information is state of the art and peer groups are stellar
Cons: The culture from the administration down to the staff down is toxic. This …
