One of the tallest building in Pittsburgh, this one is distinguished by what looks to be a large chimney on top. Rumor has it that this chimney looking thing was only added so that it would be taller than other nearby buildings.
It’s great that healthcare costs for me are more than my monthly mortgage so they can have such a nice building and so many useless staff prosting on Twitter about how things that don’t matter. …
This insurance company is terrible. They only care about their bottom line, not at all about their patients. A relative has been on medication for the past 9 months (for a very serious condition) with one insurance company; then, due to the …
Horrible. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE! They don’t care about their patients or the patient’s financial standing, nor do they give accurate information. They then try to blame the PATIENT for not doing enough work on their end. I will …
Very difficult to work with. I had a procedure done at the Cleveland Clinic and despite calling prior to scheduling and being told my procedure would be covered, they opted to only cover about 1/2. To paraphrase my doctor “. . . we are …
I started a 2nd Level Appeal in February after a medically necessary procedure claim was denied. I called back after a month, and there was no update. Today, 5/31, I learned that Highmark never actually started the 2nd Level Appeal. Now I’m getting a lawyer involved.

Highmark Wholecare the absolute worst. Since they took over Gateway (with NO notification prior to the January 1 when they took over by the way) claims that have been paid for very normal care are denied over and over. And their latest …
