Patient of mine was scheduled for surgery. 2 days prior to surgery (after a 3 month wait) they call her cancel her surgery because the insurance reimbursement wasn’t enough. Even though they are contracted with her insurance company. My young patient is absolutely devastated after jumping through hoops for this to happen.
