High prices horrible service. It cost more for my 600 foot cabin for electric in Kenai with NO ONE there than my place in Anchorage where we use a lot of power and even do laundry .They are a rip off.
A “member owned co-op” thank can’t even keep keep the power on when the weather is good. When the wind is forecasted, you can just plan on your power going out. A poorly run and overpriced organization.
They keep raising prices under the guise of short term hikes but they never lower the price even though they use hydro electric. Better to make a payment on an off grid system. Plus 5 grand per pole??! Ridiculous.
I really appreciate having reliable electricity. They have great staff. I had to do four stars because I agree with the other reviews on the prices being too high. Their payment portal is dead easy.
