Great nurses but doctor misdiagnosed my child and end result not good with no explanation behind it unfortunately my child is not here today this place have the worse doctors
Phone services suck how r u supposed to get a hold of them if they dont answer and the number say it’s not working and u can’t search for different locations it always comes up as one location and that’s the one off Corbin Avenue
The worst facility I’ve ever had to experience with my mothers condition. From the treatment to her experience I wish we never step foot inside this place.
They should call this place the hospital for special staff,..not a good place to work in,.environmental service dept has poor management,.never seen such unprofessionalism in my life,.it’s run by tweedle dee and tweedle dumb.
So difficult to make an appointment for my child. Front desk staff not interested and will make excuses and then transfer to different person as if you are a nuisance to them.
The hospital for special care visiting hours are Monday-Sunday 12pm-8pm. You can bring any food but don’t bring food with nuts because people have nut allergies.
Sat on the phone and argued for over an hour on why my son didn’t need to be there( discharged from ccmc and everyone said bring him there) born really early and only 5 months, they wanted to do physical therapy!! On a baby?!
This place is disgraceful. They will side with your school system, make false reporting and never help your autistic child. They will not help you or your child. Disgusting
This facility has great care across the continuum of care from inpatient, LTACH, outpatient and even adult and pediatric adaptive sports. There is even a specialty Neuromuscular Center, wound care, psychology/psychiatry and concussion clinic on site.
These folks provided great care during my stay. My only complaint is I was transferred out to another facility too soon. Other than that, it would have been 5 stars.
I had a interview a year ago at Hosp for Special Care. I have been a PCA for almost 20 years w The lady in Human Resources was brutal. Acting as if I was going for my PhD. Very rude. Of course I did not get the job. It’s ok, my PCA job at …
If I could give no stars I would. This is like the worst place ever. My daughter is paralyzed from neck down and they provided no nurse for her because I stayed there with her. I ask to speak with the manager and she was even worse than the staff, the doctor was a big mess, I had to take out my daughter.
Do not go to the autism center doctors nurses and Behavior specialists all very rude to their patients I went there and I was crying and None of them even cared So go somewhere else this is not a good place to go
I was introduced to your emergency room by my girlfriend 3 years ago, after waiting in the emergency room 6 hrs in the town I live in with my 3 yr old granddaughter. Once she was registered we were call in back in less than 10 minutes & dr was examining her in no time. I will be taking ride to your ER if necessary again.
I’m surprised there aren’t any negative reviews here. In fact I’m surprised there aren’t hundreds of them. The poor employees in this organization must work with a Benefits Analyst who is disrespectful, dishonest, and inefficient at her …

They don’t care if they infect your loved one with Covid. They allow their nurses to be anti-science and they don’t care. I wouldn’t send my loved one here if it was the last facility on the face of the earth.
My mother been here for over a year n 4 months. Her recovery is taken long but it’s normal with what she got. She has GBS. So it’s takes longer. Some nurses are mean but some are good. Some are lazy and play to much. Overall it’s a good hospital.

This place is amazing! My Mom was there for 2 months after a bad car accident. They treated her like a Queen. The staff was fantastic with her and us as well. I would definitely use them again!
In my opinion, this hospital does not rebuild lives, instead they destroy them.this hospital should be investigated by the department of health. They are chronically understaffed and our loved ones are neglected and abandoned.
I’m sadly torn as to how I currently feel about the autism center at this hospital. Our psychiatrist is great for my son. He listens to my concerns, he’s open to listening to how things have been going, and I do believe he seeks what’s in …
Words cannot express how appreciative I am for HSC for taking care of my son on the Autism Inpatient unit. As a nurse studying to be a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am in awe of HSC’s ability to bridge the gap for the special needs community with medical comorbidities. I am beyond impressed. Thank you

If you want to be over medicated to the point of having hallucinations , then this is a good place to go.
So difficult to make an appointment for my child. Front desk staff not interested and will make excuses and then transfer to different person as if you are a nuisance to them.
Constantly canceling appointments without notice until you show up, rude staff, the absolute worst place to seek help for children with autism
The hospital for special care visiting hours are Monday-Sunday 12pm-8pm. You can bring any food but don’t bring food with nuts because people have nut allergies.
Physical therapy was very helpful. Staff is always courteous. My balance is problematic but more stable then before I went.
