Worst place ever!!!! I don’t recommend this place to anyone!!!
Very crisp and clear website. Easy to maneuver in.
I don’t even want to give them one star. Just make the drive to mattoon.
Don’t waste your time!! Pana is even better than this place!! However make the trip to Effingham, or Mattoon,
The ER doctor has a bedside manor of a coyote. He also does not treat what is actually wrong with you.
This place is bull I came in with Brest pain and all they did was a urine test wouldn’t do any test for my breasts and there is lumps in it and I can’t even touch it just a joke
The emergency room nurses and doctor were very nice and made sure I was good to go.
Was in ER in 4-4-18 and Dr Shrivastav and nurse Tina was beyond Amazing!
Best care I’ve received in ER in several years
The doctors here are very rude and disrespectful and do not help you at all
Depending on the location (Shelbyville) & who’s working at the time, it might be best traveling a bit further for better help.
Great hospital with very caring staff. I came in on Christmas and was very impressed by the Doctor and nurses. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the reviews.
You can get better care in a war torn third world country. The main nurse Tammy WILL treat you like a drug addicted criminal from the point of registration.
Doctors and nurses cannot keep accurate records…call to ask you numerous times when told to leave it on your voicemail…notetaking skills are poor and never read notes when leaving voice mail…I give 0 stars if a option …
$800+ later, overall a waste of my time, never going here ever again. If I was dying I would rather risk making the trip to Mattoon or Decatur. Just don’t go here
Nice minor faculty. Not good for major medical. Go to St Mary’s
I’d rather that someone would go the distance and go to decatur or mattoon (but if a real emergency with no choice then go to this er). This hospital sends a bill that doesn’t explain what is for and send the same bill you’ve already paid …
I didn’t have a problem with any of my visits here…my husband never had any problems with his visits…I give them a 5 star on how we were treated with respect and understanding. But i give the Billing office a 2…when the billing office …
I was tolerated well. CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK CARE OF ME ON 2ND FLOOR ALL SHIFTS!!! HAPPY NURSES AND CAREGIVER DAY AMYEMBREY 205
Just got out of the ER. I was having an awful panic attack. Trouble breathing, cold sweats.. They gave me 2 tiny pills and sent me on my way…WALKING… When I told them I was having brain jolts and really didn’t feel well still. Nurse Mike says “just walk it off”!… this hospital is the worst!
I have always had good experiences at this hospital. They detected my heart attack and sent me up to Decatur where I had a stent the next day. I feel like they saved my life. I went in on another occasion with a severe allergic reaction with my throat closing off they treated me successfully.
They clearly need longer time periods for doctors to see patients/ they should see less a day. Wait times are ridiculous. In the time they took to see me I could’ve driven to Mattoon. Don’t make the same mistake as me!
Staff and drs we’re great! Very caring and made sure I got everything I needed promptly. Thank you!
Went on for stitches. The intake nurse, Katherine was awesome. The RN, Mary, did a fantastic job servicing my wound. The ER Doctor, Dr Filipov, was amazing and very comforting. This is an amazing small-town hospital we’re lucky to have it.
Everyone took great care of me when I broke my toe.
