Hudson Hospital & Clinic – Hudson (WI) Reviews ( 90 )

  1. This hospital 🏥 Is fast but they don’t care about people when you go there I’ve been there 7 times in the last year and everytime I go I walk 🚶 out with no help …

  2. The ER is a joke and the staff is rude and unwelcoming for anyone with health care needs they do as little as possible just enough for you to get out of their ER so that they can go back to chatting and drinking coffe I would suggest going to any other ER then this one

  3. Very bad service as my wife delivered a baby in December 2018 but unfortunately we faced a very bad experience with them as they are not honest at all and we discovered after 1 month from gave us all the invoices that there is a hidden expenses no one never told us with a second part so I don’t recommend anyone to go there .

  4. They deleted my last one review… Seriously, if you value your life WHATSOEVER do NOT go here. They will screw up all of your billing and they don’t even care about how you actually feel… Worst. Place. Ever

  5. This place is a joke!!! Never bring anyone here,if you don’t have insurance they make you wait hours on end, tell you they have more important ppl to wait on,plus they will make you wait ten minutes to check you in. You LiterAlly could be dying and zero cares are given!!! Don’t go here!!!

  6. My wife just recently gave birth here and the staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Very helpful aims to please and they don’t leave questions unanswered I would highly recommend choosing this hospital

  7. Terrible perscription delivery service. Visiting family in Arizona and needed my medication. Couldn’t get it before my visit because of federal regulation. If you need your meds ASAP, have family pick up and ship priority.

  8. Went in for a bad kidney infection and sent in a urine sample. It had been 2 hours with no nurse to check in and no results. Literally just walked out because I couldn’t handle waiting. I feel sorry for the people who are actually having an emercency

  9. I had surgery here after I lost my child and they really took care of me during a tough time and called to check in later. The signed card and stuffed animal really meant a lot.

  10. Went into the ER and I instantly felt like I was a burden to all the staff. Went in with a migraine and left with a migraine. Felt like doctors didn’t believe my symptoms and I was a waste of their time. I’m very unsatisfied and I will never be back!!!

  11. I fell backwards on a bed of crushed rock in my yard. Two days later I went into the Hudson Hospital ER suffering from severe spasms in my lower back. The pain was a 10 on the pain scale (maximum) at times forcing me to my hands and …

  12. I called and talk to a phone nurse and was told I needed to go in to a doctor as soon as possible because of my symptoms. So I cleared my schedule so that I could go in. When I saw the doctor they literally told me there was nothing they could do and said “I don’t know what you want from me”. Unbelievable.

  13. It’s genuinely difficult to find a less competent group of “professionals.” Brought someone to the ER and their evaluation was essentially that there was nothing they could do and would need to go somewhere else. This was for an airway issue. For your safety and the safety of others, please don’t go here!

  14. The emergency department is fantastic, great staff and quick but thorough care. Talking to anyone on the phone is a joke though. I’ve been placed on hold for twenty minutes only to be hung up on repeatedly on different days at different times of the day.

  15. ER sent me home feeling sicker than when I had came in and also with the IV still inserted in my right forearm. 1 star review is only due to the fact 0 stars is not an option, but I would give 5 stars for negelgence and incompetence.

  16. Just had a baby here and found the staff and providers in labor & delivery to be very competent, helpful, and warm–and I’m not that easy to please. Very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to give birth.

  17. Doctors just pushed pills on me and ended up becoming addicted to them and he kept giving me them for over 4 years. No questions asked. The handling of bills and not allowing people to be seen that need to be seen is very disgusting. I grew …

  18. Hudson hospital has wonderful staff. I went thru many surgeries and hospitalizations at Hudson. Never once did I have a doctor or nurse that wasn’t amazing! The care they provide here is exceptional!

  19. This hospital recently changed it’s policy regarding vbacs. As of August 31, 2014, they will no longer allow mothers with a C-section to attempt a vbac. I was a patient planning on delivering at Hudson Hospital and was given notice that I …

  20. I know covid here but one visitor along with patient is bs. I had to sit in my car waiting for family. I illegal sat in a handycap spot, I was legally parked with handycap thing hanging from mirror but legally I’m not to sit in the car …

  21. We were lucky enough to give birth to two healthy children here. Both times were exceptional. My wife loved the experiences and so did I. Not to mention all our frineds and family noted how friendly and professional the staff was.

  22. Your Patients Rights and Responsibilities policy states: All patients have the right to be informed concerning their continuing health care needs, course of treatment, prognosis for recovery, and alternatives to meet these needs in terms …

  23. Worst excuse of a hospital system iv ever seen. Pregnant girlfriend who has crohn’s disease was released without her consent and told her they would kick her out. This is after being in and out of the ER due to severe Nashua and severe …

  24. I would not recommend this ER or anything or anyone in this building to anyone. They run excessive tests and perform services that are not needed to increase the bill. When confronted, they cop out to claiming it was in the Doctor’s best …

  25. I received such kind, competent care from everyone, including and in particular a registration staff member who helped me sort out a complete mess. …

  26. I am from out of state visiting for the holiday’s and had sever flu coughing fever etc. Their emergency room staff was super friendly and efficient and took me right in. The level of care I received was outstanding and everyone was so …

  27. Several reviews I have seen tell about horrible experiences with staff. I will say nothing of that since that can change on a daily, even hourly basis. The building, however, is clean, modern, and as inviting as a hospital can be. Local artwork is displayed thought-out and the color pallet is relaxing.

  28. I think it’s interesting how people feel empowered by writing negative reviews, complaining instead of simply offering suggested solutions, or choosing to rant rather than take their situation to someone within the organization who can …

  29. Doctors and nurses were terrific !! Billing office TERRIBLE. My wife had to have an emergency surgery. Afterwards they refused to see my 4 month old daughter with a high fever because of a past due account (was told this in the lobby my …

  30. I had to have a procedure today and was very happy with the care. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional. The nurses in surgery we’re wonderful, kind, and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for better care.

  33. I recently had the need to visit the ER as a result of an animal bite. The administrative staff were really great to deal with and incredibly helpful. The attending physican, Dr. Eric Dahl was absolutely superb. He listened to the …

  34. I’ve been going here ever since I was born, which next year (2020) will be 30 years!! I can attest that I’ve been through thick and thin here; while I’ve had a few negative experiences, the positive experiences OUTWEIGH and OUTNUMBER the …

  35. I would not recommend giving birth at this hospital, especially since they now got rid of the midwives. I ended up have an emergency c-section and felt the entire thing. It’s frustrating to me that the person administering it literally only …

  36. Went in and I had such a bad experience with one of the nurses, she was so nasty, ask me why I came back when I left earlier after being treated for kidney stone pain. Then I told the nurse that I thought she had an attitude and we had …

  37. I was very impressed by the ease of going in and out without hassle or long wait times. Nurse gave a very detailed report without hesitation to the doctor in front of us. They were very helpful in what to do if you didn’t have insurance, and received great care.

  38. I took my infant into the ER with severe projectile vomit and lethargic movements that were not normal to her. The nurses acted like we were a burden, barely spoke to me and barely paid much attention to my daughter. They left silently and …

  39. I’ve lived in Hudson for 16 years. I have been in and out of this facility many times. My wife gave birth here and I had hernia surgery here. These were largely positive, professional experiences. It has not always been 100% percent perfect, but I would not hesitate to go back.

  40. I went to the Hudson ER with terrible pain in my abdomen. After an evaluation which didn’t include any tests I was advised that I had an inflamed bladder and sent home. I was then told to come back if the pain continues. I sat at home for a …

  41. Interesting to come on here and see that my review had been deleted. Have been treated and misdiagnosed MANY times in the ER; finally have learned my lesson to not go back. Misdiagnosed my son as a pulled muscle; ended up having a broken …

  42. Love this hospital! Everyone that I had contact with from my doctor to the nurses to the dietary aides went out of their way to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as it could possibly be as an inpatient. I found all of the staff …

  43. Very uncomfortable setting. I was put in a room for 3 hours surrounded with Jesus memorabilia and other catholic pictures on every wall. Being non-religious; it was very weird to me and a bit pushy. Never going back, didn’t feel comfortable at all.

  44. Our daughter had a baby at this hospital on Monday, Dec. 3rd, 2018. All of us cannot say enough about how kind and compassionate everyone was. When my grandson was only 3 days old we had to bring him back to the ER as he was becoming …

  45. I had a really good experience with the imaging department. I was very nervous. The technician I had was so kind and compassionate. I’m really thankful I had her taking care of me!

  46. They pretend they care to your face. Really, I think they joke and snicker about clients between one another once you walk away or after they rudely “take your message” cough cough, throw it in the trash and hang up on you. My partner and …

  47. I gave birth to my first baby at the Hudson Hospital a month ago today… I was originally planning on delivering at Health Foundations in St. Paul (a free-standing birth center) but I had to transfer to a hospital around 32 weeks due to …

  48. May 11 at 1 PM. Had a situation where I had food lodged in my throat. It has happened before but this time it was not resolving on it’s own. I decided it was best to go to the ER since I was already in town and I had my 2 year old …

  49. I just had my second baby boy here over the weekend, the birth center here is amazing. I loved every single one of my nurses. They are all very caring and nice people. Thank you so much to the doctors and nurses here. My husband and I are very grateful for all of you here. ❤

  50. Dr.Biros, Janelle, and their entire team are incredibly amazing! Always receive the absolute best care, extremely knowledgeable & thorough, and you can tell they love what they do! Their patients are their top priority! Sometimes you may have to wait a little bit but definitely worth the wait!

  51. This is hard to review because it depends on where you go here. I had a great experience in the Birth Center with giving birth to my first kid. I have had to go to ER here a couple times and had mostly positive experiences, minus the …

  52. Do not have a baby here! We have six children and went to 3 different hospitals. This one was the worst experience ever. Nurse never came in to check on the baby or mother all night. She lied on her charts saying she checked baby’s vitals …

  56. We love Dr. Burke in pediatrics, she is very thorough and always addresses any questions or concerns we have. I also really liked Jessica the lactation consultant! She gave me lots of great tips and tricks and reassured me that I was doing a good job!

  57. My husband Ray was in with urosepsis for 4 days. Was in room 108. Wonderful care during that time. Were very quick to answer his call light. Very friendly staff. Good Dr staff. The only complaint is the “hard” couch that makes into a bed for a family member.

  58. Went in delirious with a 102 fever and covid- I feared I had an infection due to a recent surgery- I was delirious, confused, crying, didn’t know where I was—and they kept YELLING questions at me that I couldn’t answer, I was told I needed …

  59. I use the pharmacy at the hospital as well. My health plan has a mail option but they never arrive on time. The hospital pharmacy has become my go-to place to fill a prescription. They are not open 7/24 but are friendly and fast when they are open.

  60. I was scheduled to have my knee replaced. My surgery was scheduled to be done on Wednesday. So I stopped all but my required medications several days ahead of the procedure (one of my meds is a blood thinner due to a blood clotting …

  61. I realize one person can have a different experience at a hospital from someone else so I don’t pay much attention to these “reviews” and frankly, neither should you. But I’m going to share my experience at Hudson Hospital and Clinic just …

  62. Watch out for charges they will bill you for, even if you do not utilize the service. I did labor and delivery there and our baby was with us the entire time during our stay. The hospital still charged us for the nursery, even though my …
